That custom Ezra is awesome! Is that a Fenn Rau body with a Biker Scout helmet?
Excellent paint job!

Hello 'Yarders, it's been a long time since I've posted anything. I must apologize, it's been a wild year, good, but wild.  Though I still lurk around every day or so, and am very impressed with everyone's work.

When I first started here, I didn't know much about figures, but I had this idea of a long range desert sandtrooper squad. Now I've dusted off the idea, and started to reimagine it.
So far I have just three, but I intend to build more. With Rogue One and Solo we have many more parts combinations, which is fantastic. These are fairly simple, I will probably go more complex as I go. I have the Commander, Sniper and heavy Gunner.
I have dubbed the group, the Nerf Herder patrol, due to their rough around the edges appearance, and non conformity, but they get the job done.

I like these a lot!!! Really great idea, and great execution. I particularly like your sniper (visor looks great) and the addition of a Corellian Hound is fun (I guess we can say K-9 commander). Those Scarif troopers sure are a great addition for customizing. Its really great to see you back!

Tanks StarChaser! The sniper helmet is just the TAC jumptrooper, weathered. The concept behind the squad is a patrol squad or reconnaissance, so I like to incorporate the hounds and recon droids into it. Yeah the tank drivers and scarif troopers  are fantastic they have a look that is cross between a Stormtrooper and a scout, which is the look I desire for this patrol squad.

Yeah, I love those evo troopers and jump troopers. The jump trooper helmet is a great fit for a sniper - kudos on a good eye for this idea.

I built another easy figure. He is the team's secondary driver/ mechanical technician. I decided on the imperial cadet helmet as opposed to the AT-DP, it's similar enough, but I like the cadet design better. It uses a spare tank drivers chest, with AT-ST driver... everything else.  I'll get more intricate as I go, I just want to get the easy ones out of the way.

I like that concept - works really well for a mechanic. Really nice job! I totally agree with you regarding the AT-DP versus cadet helmet.

I like him. Makes sense to me. I have just been enjoying some kind of tank mini-series on Netflix and this guy reminds me of a back up to just about any job; cross trained if you will.
