Thanks guys it is why I started to paint these, even though I would buy them when I was back at college waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy back in the myths of time.  I also had Hero Quest but I never painted them, I would give them to mates to do, now I look back and wished I had but hey ho!

I finished painting the Tactical Marines last night, I just need to add some colour tone to their bases and add the transfers before delcaring them done and move on to my Orks and Imperial knight.

God is this addictive!

With results like these I can see why they are addicting. Off to share this new update.

Wow, your Spacemarines look awesome! And I know what you mean! My brother and I used to play 40k, too! But time ran out for us. He played the Ultra Marines and I had some Ork Boyz.

Your paint job looks excellent and I really like the base plates, too! Good memories here...that's a nice addiction to have.

My brother actually has some Space Marines on sale now - 5 sets of different troops like Scouts, Terminators and more - 4 of them are still sealed. I can send you pictures, if you are interested!

Nice job on the Warhammer. I'm not a player or painter, but my son is. He's got a Space Marine unit he's working on too (though right now he's mostly working on Astra Militarium and Bretonians from Fantasy).

That would be great mate!  Sorry I have not replied sooner, I've just been really busy.

Thanks Starchaser.  I've just finished a few more which I'll post in the next couple of days including a Transformer G1 inspired Imperial Knight.

This I am particularly proud of!

Since I started painting Warhammer miniatures, my 8 year old daughter expressed interest in painting some too. In this thread I will posting her updates on my new army of Marines done to her own style. She has completed one already (see 2nd picture)

Now that is pretty cool. Your daughter paints great!

I like that Transformer Marine too. Off to share both updates.

She's 8!  That's an awesome!  You are definitely a great influence on her.  Go Daddy!  Now if I can only get my 6 and 4 year old to do the same.

Son of a gun

Your daughter has a sharp eye and a steady hand.
She’s a bit more advanced than ‘coloring book’ level.

Wow, that's a huge update! The Cybot looks incredible! I like the Marine in red armor and the golden helmet, too! Don't worry about the reply! I'll send you a PM...
