Well, one of these days I might get moved out of the house and into the shed...

I wish we had a 4 bedroom apartment :P I could then have a workshop office :) All these setups look great!

Why go through life base fig, when you can customize?

this labor day I labored away and performed a much needed work station enema....  I had to get rid of all the crap that'd built up on my table and in my cabinet.

this is what my nicely organized customs supply cabinet now looks like!:

and after organization this is how the kitchen table looks:

Here is a shot of my messy resin-casting work station. That piece of craft board is setting on my light box and I use the same light as I am casting. That pile of resin flash continues to grow as I cast and I need to clean it up. Most of those molds are marked as to what parts that they cast but somehow, I still can recognize the molds that I need just by looking at them even though there are over 50 different parts that they cast now.
When the casts are cured, I demold them here and take them upstairs to clean them up of thier flash while lying on the floor at the top of the stairs.

Not quite as full of paints & materials as some of the more sophisticated customizers, but here is my little setup none the less.
I was in a video call on Skype with Jay (wraith_nine) when this photo was taken as I was doing a "Live custom" as it were.

And here is the draw I keep all my paints & utensils in...

Oooh, I had not thought of using skype to do "live customizing"

That is neat.

I need to clean up my work area, its huge, but a dang mess.

Also, I hear you on the remote thing, I use a harmony remote and my wife actually HATES it, not just dislikes it, lol.

I had a chance to take a pic of my current workstation area (the kitchen table) and thought I would share it.  I also have some random parts bins laying around. The small black case on the left is my "Mobile" unit. I have 6 paints in it and a set of brushes. Sometimes I'll take it to work with some small projects and do some painting at lunch time.

I also found this really cool metal case (on left) from Target for a dollar. It says "Sith Lord" across the top and holds a bunch of brushes.

Thanks!

Well, I finally have a workspace all my own, with almost everything I need to spend quality time comfortably!  As you will see from the pics below, I have ample space, ample tools, and a smidgeon of an image of what I am working on now, the Imperial Shipyards Security Force!  I might reveal tidbits here and there as they come along, but I'm keeping most of it underwraps for now!  The only thing I'm missing right now is my television, which I should have hooked up down there by next week!

Nice roomy workstation you have there, Pat. My keen eyes can kind of see the direction you are going with that project.

Nice set up Pat, feels good to claim a little work spot. I lost mine in my basement when I built my extra room,

It's a good start.  I'm gonna put some speakers down there, clean up the area, make it more homey.  I'm so eager to keep working on my project I want to stay up all night!  Can't wait for the casted heads from Clonehead!

Hey guys his is a cool thread. I have enjoyed seeing everyones set up/non set up and thought I would get a pic of mine in here. I work in my office and have a dedicated desk but i also run a landscape company and a very small skateboard company out of this 1 room. This is what my desk looks like most of the time as I like to work on 3-4 projects at a time. There is a heat gun, 2 dremmels and a drill that you can't see in the floor. I'll get more pics soon...I need to go clean up.
