What is George up to?

I heard about this on Attack of the Show last night and it looks like there is some truth to it.

George Lucas is buying up the rights for dead actors

I really hope George to take a vacation and leave at least Original Trilogy untouched anymore and the guy coming next to be able to release the OT like it was the first time I watched it on DVD. Alec Guiness, Peter Cushing, Don Henderson will haunt Lucas...

That could be kind of creepy IMHO. Though he could use the dead SW actors for the SW sequels, still I'd rather let someone else do the SW sequels... Just compare ESB directed by Kershner to the other SW movies...

I have had visions of John Wayne in a Jedi outfit battling some Sith all day now.

I am sorry I think it would kick majorly! I would love to see it as long as it is done with the greatest respect for the deceased actor.

"Are you talking to me?" Couldn't you just see JW saying that to a Sith?  He may also be trying to do something with Alec Guiness for perhaps some postquels?

I do agree this is either gonna be good or it is gonna doom him. Very interesting one way or another though.
