Today the Georgia Alliance of Star Wars Collectors shared an exclusive interview with Rich Alot and Derryl DePriest on the upcoming release of the Vintage Collection Archive Book. I know some members of our forum have been waiting patiently for this project to become reality. I left my comment below the video on YouTube. All I can say is: It's worth every second of the 37 minutes! I just wish the current brand team for Star Wars at Hasbro would be that honest with us. Times have changed dramatically for us collectors within just a few years...it feels this book will be a testimony to the Golden Age of collecting 3 3/4" Star Wars figures.

I haven't posted an update here in awhile, but you can check out the latest details on the front page. The message is from Derryl this time. I advise patience even though the ship date has been pushed back again.

If you missed to back this project, you can still buy a book plus extras here:

https://bluemi.lk/shop/

Why can't Hasbro do this, too?!

I keep hoping to get mine in the mail.

I know I backed mine as soon as Derryl let me know about it.

It sounds like it is worth the wait folks.

Yes, I did. 2 1/2 years later I picked mine up at a friend's house in Michigan. It was also well packed, but I needed some time to find everything included.

I just returned from Action and found a couple picture frames for the chapter break prints.

Regular frames with suitable dimensions are 1.99€. Another one caught my eyes, which is called "Kids Art Box" and included a compartment to store a stack of paper inside. 4.97€ was pretty reasonable.
You might find something like this at Hobby Lobby.

regular picture frame for 1,99€.

Kids Art Box with storage space inside for 4,97€.

I might get a couple more of those storage box frames because I'm very happy with this solution. And 5 bucks isn't too shabby..let's try the regular frame before though.

I went back to the store and got another picture frame. I also found a case for the book itself at T€Di for 3,55€. It's a dollar store like Dollar General or Five Below here in Germany.
They have all sorts of miscellaneous goods. The book fits in there perfectly. It's an exact width with half an inch space on top. I don't remember the prices on Blue Milk anymore, but the protection case printed with TVC figures was too expensive for me back in the days...

I had some other picture frames for 1,99€ left for autographs. So I used them for this project:

They're pearl white, bronze, silver (for the carbon freezing chamber) and black (of course).

These frames are flatter and don't come with a mat (white inner frame), but I might buy some extra mats down the line and also switch to all black frames. This should do for now.
