Hey Yarders.
I wanted to share a quick fix for the R4-G9 astromech sculpt. To the irritation of many, on many of the figures utilizing this sculpture, the factory assembled the descending foot BACKWARDS, :-\ rendering the figure unable to rest its foot flat on the ground.

I just acquired Battle Damaged R2, and this flaw was really working on my OCD. The foot is cast in a hard plastic, so boil & pop won't work. I contemplated cutting and reattaching the foot in the proper orientation, but the a more simple solution hit me. The foot swivels back and forth on a peg ( Duh! ), and the angle of the swivel is limited by the plastic blocks at the attachment site. By simply cutting a millimeter from the rear block, the foot can swivel enough to rest flat.

Thanks Tamer.
Too often I get involved in a minor repair (meaning home repairs), and by the time I get things taken apart, it turns into major project.
I like quick & easy.
