Title: Viceroy's Acrylic Painting Gallery
Post by: ViceroyGunray on July 22, 2015, 07:02:56 AM
Back in high school I was really into art, and particularly found my passion and stride in acrylic painting. Never was too great of a drawer, but found it easier to get dimensions and scaling right painting. Inevitably, when I got into things a few years later, I decided to go with a genre I had just as much of a passion for; Star Wars.

The First SW painting I worked on was Viceroy Nute Gunray, of course!
Think it came out pretty well.

My next project is the Cantina Showdown, capturing the moment when Greedo draws his blaster on a surprised Han Solo. Will post soon!

Here is the "work in progress" painting of the Cantina Showdown as well. Note; I'm not far into this one at all. Still working on undertones and need a few more layers before I can do details! Will post the finished product  ;D  0/

Awesome stuff dude!! I like how the Greedo picture is coming along, but these are both really great. Welcome to the shipyards.
