Bandai came out with the new 1/72 y-wing now available this week. This thing is just packed with detail. Next month August 30 the sandtrooper  will be available as well. I believe it has two different backpack variants. Unfortunately it only comes with an all black pauldron, but you can always paint that.

I haven't tried any of the other 6" lines, but man some of these kits like Bandai, SH Figurarts, Play Arts Kai, etc. look fantastic. If they have an AT-AT Kit I will probably have to bite.

Bandai is indeed coming out with an AT-AT 1/72 scale, same size as the revell kits but much better. Check it out.   http://news.toyark.com/2015/05/19/bandai-at-at-movement-demo-video-160050
In this video they have it rigged up with motors to show the articulation!!
Cool stuff I sure can't wait!

Oh man, I had to get that video on the front page. That is one kit I am gonna have to have. Where do you get your Bandai kits JDeck?

Mum is the word on when exactly the AT-AT is coming out. Sept. You have 1/12 Boba fett and 1/144 Slave I. So it could be at the very earliest Nov.-Dec. Nobody knows! Also they're making the Star destroyer, that will be awesome too. I usually get bandai models on Amazon.

I will have to keep on the hunt for that info then. Man, might have to bite on the SD too!

I found more info on the Star destroyer too.

3rd quarter of 2015 MSRP. $400 AMERICAN!!. Geez almighty! That may be too steep for me, not to mention the amount of space it will consume. But daggon I want it.  I would imagine you would need a custom stand, or meybe one comes with it. Its not like you can just pick it up and look at it, its huge. 3rd Quarter 2015? That would be July-Sept, unless it's fiscal Quarter. It was probably pushed back, I would have seen it if it was available or pre-order. Its most likely limited, its not like little Billy down the street is getting one for Christmas.

Check out this 6" Boba Fett. http://www.gunjap.net/site/?p=269536 . I can only assume he has a TESB and ROTJ variations. We'll see closer to September after the Sandy releases. Also the same month the 1/144 Slave I will be released. That thing is way cool!!
I know I've been on a Bandai kick lately but it's the only beacon of hope during these dark times.

I am excited about the new kits coming out for force awakens but this kind of detail could fuel any builders passion.

Yeah I saw some of those new Revell kits. The Falcon has the correct size sidewall, which is an improvement over the old. I'd like to see the details on it. From what  I hear its like 120 piece, sounds like a lot, but its 1/48 that's huge for a falcon. I'll bite on it if Bandai doesn't make one. Other than the Falcon they seem like re-packs of the old. The ep.7 kits are under wraps but that new speeder is cool I'd get that. Like I say I won't buy ep.7 stuff until I see the movie.

Bandai will be having their own Force Friday at :01 9-4-15. Evidently they'll be making TFA models on gunjap.com I found these pics. TFA X-wing and TFA Millennium Falcon. I figured they would end up making the TFA Falcon I can only hope it comes with the parabolic radar dish as well, it looks to be 1/144.

The details are in on the 6" Boba Fett and Slave I. The fett will be ESB version only, little bummed since Hasbro already made the ESB Fett I was hoping for the ROTJ option. The Slave I is awesome though definitely getting that.

Here's a closer look at the Slave I. It can be mounted in flight position or landed with the cargo bay open or closed. It even comes with a 1/144 Han Solo in carbonite as well as Boba fett both sitting hand standing. Available Sept.30

Also available Sept.30 6" Boba Fett. Check out the details. Even The jetpack nozzels can swivel. I like that gun, tons and tons of detail.

Alright its force Friday in Japan so the new Bandai kits have been unveiled. First you have the 1/72 TFA resistance X-WING, 1/144 TFA Falcon, 1/12 first order stormtrooper, 1/12 R2-d2 and BB8, and1/72 first order TIE. I'm stoked about any form of the falcon but the two droids I'm interested as well. I'm at work now I'll catch up on the deats later.

Alright so I have some down time so I'll tell you what I know. In October '15 the 1/72 resistance x-wing is available along with the TFA Falcon. The x-wing comes with a pilot and BB8. The Falcon is TFA only which kinda sucks but I'll take what I can get. In November '15 the new order stormtrooper is available evidently the have shields, very McQuarrie-esq. Really cool looking figure. December '15 you get the R2-D2 and BB-8 two pack and the first order TIE. Then January you get the "Special Forces" TIE which I've never heard of and they won't show a picture yet. I believe its the TIE with the red accents, I could be wrong. As of now this is the only TFA stuff I have any interest in. Even if the movie sucks at least these models will look good.

It looks like effective Sept. 20th Bandai Star Wars will not be allowed to sell their products outside of Japan.  Apparently Disney is behind this decision, so they can push the crappy Revell kits manufactured by Chinese slaves. So I'm bummed. Probably eBay won't be effected but I'm not sure. I'm  interested to know how it'll effect Amazon. But HLJ announced no more star wars. So my suggestion is if you have any interest in these kits buy them now. Sadly that means the TFA kits will be banned in the U.S and Europe. The bright side is they didn't suspend their licencing, so where there's a will there's a way. But Disney does what Disney does best, being a money machine that doesn't care about the consumers.

I heard that on FB the other day and had hoped it was a viscous rumor. Guess not! :'(
Title: Re: Great kits coming from Bandai
Post by: JDeck on September 17, 2015, 04:01:59 AM
I sent an email to a 3rd party seller on Amazon asking whether he'll be effected, his response was no. They can't restrict 3rd party sellers, its hard to believe sometimes but this is a free market society. Bandai just can't sell directly to U.S markets. That means Big Bad Toy store and HobbyLink Japan cannot sell the kits. So it won't effect me much I always buy my kits on either Amazon or eBay. So no big deal I won't have to set up Bandai speakeasies anytime soon.

Bandai will have the captain Phasma kit in February 2016. The only pics I've seen are the non colored prototype photos. I'd like to know whether its silver or chrome. It also has the articulated cape which I'm not a huge fan of, but it looks pretty cool. It could be a cheaper alternative to the scalpers price on the TBS Phasma.
This month bb-8 and r2d2 are available as well as the first order 1/72  tie fighter. The tie is basically a repaint of the OT tie except for the cockpit interior and the pilot.  The r2 is the same as the previous one that came with r5. Bb-8 looks pretty cool. It comes with a clear plasic stand.

I might buy some of them on Amazon.

Pretty much all the kits are great. The must haves I'd say is C-3PO, r2/r5, Stormtrooper and AT-ST. The Y-wing is awesome but not for beginners, I'd build a couple other vehicles first to get a feel for it.  Boba fett and Slave 1 are cool, but they have to be painted which kind of sucks. I don't mind painting the AT-ST or the other vehicles because they're all one color but the Slave I has a pretty complex paint scheme. Fett is the only figure that needs paint. He comes in colored pieces but all the weathering has to be applied.

My suggestion for anyone looking to buy these, is to go on YouTube and find the bandai reviews on the Fwoosh channel. He really does a great job, he practically builds it in front of you. He only does the figures, the only vehicle he's done was the Speeder bike. I watch his reviews before I buy any Bandai figure. I really wanted to do reviews on all the kits, I just don't have time, between my customs and hockey season.  At any rate the Fwoosh does an awesome job.

The new Bandai Captain phasma will be CHROME, not dingy grey, alright! It looks REALLY detailed just like the other kits but man its one great looking figure. New pictures on their website release date February 2016. Also they confirmed Kylo Ren will be available April 2016. Now that I've seen the movie I really would like to get these.
Also in February shadow trooper. Just a repaint of the stormy. Nice detail. Its cool, but it concerns me they're going the Hasbro route, with the repaints. A TIE pilot would have been awesome. None the less if you want a black stormy this is the one to get.

Well I have exciting news for Star Wars modelers! Dragon Hobbies is now making Star Wars kits. Starting with the 1/35 AT-AT! YES, I said 1/35. That's huge. At least 2 feet tall 3 feet long, I'm guessing. They're also making 1/144 AT-AT, which is more practical. Also snowspeeder and Falcon in 1/144. Seems small, but the important thing is they're all the same scale No time table, but I expect it should be soon, within the year. I've built some Dragon WW2 kits, and they are completely awesome. Very detailed and accurate.

How does that walker scale (1/35) put it in relation to the larger BAT-AT from Hasbro?

How does that walker scale (1/35) put it in relation to the larger BAT-AT from Hasbro?

Im sure 1/35 AT is over two feet tall. According to Wookieepedia AT-AT is about 22m so 1/35 is 25 inches. I don't know how big the BAT-AT is though, but the details and proportions will be much more accurate. As far as the price nobody knows. I know their ww2 stuff is a little pricey compared to Tamiya. Some of the 1/35 panzers can be over 50 bucks, factor in the licencing, I'm thinking at the very least 200, but I could be way off. I'll check up on their website and Facebook for new details as time goes by.
This is a pic of 1/35 paratroops next to the AT-AT. 1/35 figures are about an inch tall.

1/35 is too big for me, it would have to double as a coffee table or something. Lol. But i really would like one. Can you imagine the details on that thing. That's about studio scale I believe. I'll get multiples of all the 1/144 kits they will make such awesome dioramas, with the AT-AT, Snowspeeder, and AT-ST. Their making the 1/144 TFA FO TIE "Black Squadron" so they'll work great with the bandai TFA falcon. I just can't wait, I want them all now. They could at least give an estimated date, like within a year. I'm really not holding my breath for that Bandai AT-AT, there has been absolutely no info on it since that model show.

This pic is a photo they shared of their reference material. They say their staff are all SW fans, so that's cool.

On the Dragon Models front, they've released some images of a 1/35 AT-ST and Snowspeeder. I don't know if they'll be any better than Bandai's 1/48. Personally I like 1/48, because its the same scale as the miniatures. If dragon made 1/35 star wars figures that would make them more attractive.

I believe action fleet figures are 1/72 scale so 1/35 would be twice as big. The Star Wars command figures are about 1/35 scale.

I'm not sure if its supposed to be the Hoth version or Endor. It seems to be missing a few minor details, like the leaf springs connecting the ankle to the lower leg. It seems to have the same articulation as the Bandai ST. Also the veiwports are in the closed position, I hope there is an open option as well.

Here's some pictures Dragon models put on their Facebook page. 1/144 TFA Falcon, 1/144 T-65 & T-70. 1/144 AT-ST with AT-AT in the background. I like the 1/144 option, they are all scaled the same, unlike many star wars ships. I guess I should make a Dragon Section, but I'm waiting for at least a release date. Im waiting for it to be some elaborate hoax.

I was reading a rumor of bandai making an a-wing, and death star turret. http://modelkitsreview.com/bandai-1-72-a-wing-starfighter/
The a-wing I believe its a combo pack with a Death Star cannon, since a 1/72 A-wing is so small. Not sure though. Bandai is being very secretive lately, so they might have something good cooking.
I just checked the website, they have tons of new kits on the horizon. http://bandai-hobby.net/sw/jp/schedule/
X-wing, star destroyer, clone trooper a-wing and Poe's T-70.

.    I'm happy with the new lineup. The A-wing is awesome, and it'll be out next month. At 133mm the "actual"  a-wing is 9.6m= 31.5 feet a large estimate, but 10 yards seems right.  The new x-wing doesn't have a listed scale. I did the math based on wookieepedia it is very close to 1/144, actually 1/145.348, close darn enough, less than 1% out of scale, so that's awesome.
I absolutely love the Star destroyer, I very rarely say that about anything. I'm no Star Destroyer expert, but it looks to me like the Star Destroyer Avenger. Its only about 111mm or 4.37",  But tons of detail. Scale is about 1/14,414. Like Yoda said "Size matters not...judge me by my size, do you?" They're doing sort of a non specific scale pocket-kit type thing, but very good detail.
They're up for sale if you want them, Star Destroyer $19.00, on Amazon. I always wait until available on Prime, ends up being faster to wait sometimes. Also if you look on Bandai's website the suggested retail is 648 Japanese Yen, which comes out to about $6.01 including 8% tax. So I'd wait a week or two, till the market levels off. New kits are always inflated, people are trying to make a killing off of american buyers since Bandai is banned. In a couple of weeks the prices will drop, and it'll be on Prime, which is great.
 Star Destroyer. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01BD3NIJM/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1461850722&sr=8-1&pi=SX200_QL40&keywords=bandai+star+destroyer&dpPl=1&dpID=41qOs28lirL&ref=plSrch (http://amzn.to/1pNK6JB)

Of course 1/12 Kylo Ren is coming in the next day or so. He looks pretty cool. Again, I'd wait a while, unless you live in Japan.

I went ahead and broke my own waiting rule. I bought a SD kit from Hobby_Japan on ebay. It was a fair price $5.80+$5.20s&h. Less than suggested retail, and the shipping cost, well there's not much you can do about that. I've bought from them before, they're legit. It was at a price that's fair for everyone, I'll probably buy a bunch of these over time. But $19.99, no. With combined shipping, you could almost get 3 kits for that price. Amazon sellers will have to lower their price soon.

   1/12 Kylo Ren review: http://www.gunjap.net/site/?p=300470#more-300470
pretty rad, check out the details even on the back of his helmet. Awesome stuff. They show a side by side with the SH.FIGUARTS Kylo, the kit isn't as good, but for the price not bad. The only thing that gets me are the elbows, they disappear when bent. However it allows for better range of motion, articulation is useless without range of motion. The details are nice and crisp. With a little black wash and chrome paint, the mask would really pop. I don't like that mask decal. Cool kit though. Suggested retail including 8% tax, 3,240 Japanese Yen, or $30.46 USD.

I found some pictures of some Bandai kits from the Japanese hobby show! http://www.taghobby.com/4-0/????-2016?5?12?5?15?-??hobby-show-2016-bandai??-????/
I'm kinda giddy about it. First 1/72 TIE Interceptor looks cool. 1/144 Y-wing, that's awesome! Clone trooper with cool variants. I assume the battle droid w/stapp are model kits, however it could possibly be SH.FIGUARTS, but who knows. I can say one of the battle droids is a model kit, because of the distinctive black stand. I'm not big on prequel stuff, but I'd get a few of those droids. Evidently your not supposed to take pictures. Many Bothans died to bring us this information.

I hear ya on the AT-AT. I imagine they'll make one in the small "concept" version, that's just a guess.
I'm not really into the figures either, but my absolute favorite kit so far is the C-3po. I highly recommend it.  You won't find a better C-3po, at least for the price. Lots of great variations, that can easily be swaped. You can't go wrong with that kit. Bandai makes great droids, and stormies. I was disappointed in the Sandtrooper, the pauldron was too dinky.
Is it me or would the death star turret go better with the smaller 1/144 kits? It seems a little small. Its dwarfed by the A-wing, which is a very small fighter.

Yeah, the scale is way off on that Death Star Tower, but I still think it is pretty cool.

Here's an open box review of the A-wing. http://www.gunjap.net/site/?p=302404#more-302404

Looks simple enough, I could probably build this without instructions. Having the red and white sections separate will help with painting. Not too many decals. The turret looks pretty cool too, waay small, but cool.  I pre ordered a couple last week, (shipped today) but its good to know what I'm getting. Judging by the clear engine innards (A-1), there could be a lighting kit for this. I haven't seen one though. It would be easy enough to hook up some LED lighting. It has what appears to be a trap door for batteries (A-13), like the Falcon had. The underbelly (B-5) appears to have a cavity for a battery pack, or at least room for a coin battery, in the same place the "trap door" connects. Right in front of the engines.

Its hard to say if the falcon is real or not, you know how they like to trick you at these toy shows, ie moving AT-AT and 4ft Star Destroyer. I'm still waiting for the Dragon model kits, waiting not holding my breath. If its real what would the price be?  The 1/144 TFA Falcon is $55, I'm sure it would be cheaper than the Revell 1/72 ANH Falcon at $275. The 1/144 Y-wing  005, will release after the TFA TIE fighters 004. I'm digging those battle droids too. Don't know when they'll come out, clown troopers will be released June 30.

Thanks Starchaser. As long as Bandai keeps making great Star wars kits I'll keep you all informed.

Official images of the 1/12 Clone Trooper. However the details are not out on Bandai's website yet. I'm no Clone Trooper expert, but it looks like you can build two variations, phase 1 or 2. With 2 weapons variants. Looks cool. I'll get a couple. In my biased opinion it looks better than the Hasbro, and it costs much less than SH.FIGUARTS Clone trooper. of course these are promotional images, but based on the Stormtrooper kits Ive bought it looks true to form. Release date is June 30th.

I preordered the clone trooper kit. Hobby_Japan also has the Interceptor for presale arriving July 31. I saw reports of the Battle droid with stap releasing on Aug 30 at $42.usd. Same as scout trooper with speeder. Was hoping to be able to buy droids separately, ohh well. Which brings us to September. I wonder if they'll have a Rogue One force Friday like they did TFA.

I don't know. I imagine they will make some rogue one kits. The TIE fighter, rebel starfighter that new droid the new shadow trooper, those are just guesses. They're quiet about new releases, outside of hobby shows. I wouldn't be surprised if they made a 1/144 AT-AT, I doubt if they would make anything bigger.  if they do make one you'd be the first ones to know, as I try to keep up with new releases.

  Indeed!
Here's images from bandai's site. I would like to see the sprue trees, to see how the wings are constructed. In the TIE fighter, the wings had to be assembled. In the x-1 Advanced (Vader's TIE) the wings were one piece. The TIE wings are easy to re-paint, but the x-1 had to be masked extensively. This may determine how many of these Interceptors I'll buy. They are on preorder through Hobby_Japan on eBay, they'll be released in a couple weeks.
Looks like September will bring Poe's Black Squadron X-wing in 1/72 scale. Meh.

Dragon is killing me with all these teasers. They announced that they will announce the release dates this Summer. Get with it already. But these images are awesome. https://m.facebook.com/dragonmodels/photos/pcb.1421685444524604/1421684847857997/?type=3&source=48

The last image is a sneaker of the Bandai 1/12 battle droid with stap. From what I can see it looks cool. He folds into a stored position, his head can be swapped with C-3P0's. He comes with a blaster and macro binoculars. Why does a droid need binoculars? Anyway, Look for more details soon, as the TIE Interceptor released today.

Seems like accuracy issues with that smaller AT-AT. The larger one rocks though. Gonna have to have at least one of those. Its not like Hasbro wants my money much anymore. I can't image the price point on that larger one though. Gonna be an ouchy. Off to the front page with this news.

Yeah the 1/35 AT-AT will be expensive, no idea how expensive, but I would take it over a  smartphone walking, nerf gun shooting AT-ACT any day. I like the 1/144 one too, I'd get a few of those buggers. I know the AT-STs have some inaccuracies, that's why I might not go for the 1/35, I believe the 1/144 AT-ST comes with a snowspeeder too. So I'd get that. The 1/144 falcon is an OT version, that's awesome! I'm into that.

Looking at the smaller AT-AT Pics I can see the scale is way off if they are doing 1/144. The legs and cannons are off as well as the joints. I will still probably get a few. That large one looks fantastic though.
Title: Re: Great kits coming from Bandai

Dragon is not known for their accuracy, among military modellers.  They should have 3d scanned the ILM model, if any of them still exist. They used reference books, which is good, however ILM made many different AT-ATs for different shots, so they're all slightly different. I've noticed they don't have articulated ankles, this will be impossible to pose in a walking position, accurately, without it looking the way it does in the photos. However, I can say its leaps and bounds better than the 36 year old 1/100 MPC/AMT kit. That thing, by today's standards is terrible.

As far as the scale its hard to say, because there's no reference point, other than the figures I assume are 1/144. Wookieepedia says an AT-AT is 22.5m, so 1/144 would be 6.15". Looks small compared to the TIE in the background, that is also supposed to be 1/144. We'll see when they actually market the product, I figure these are pre-production prototypes.
If they can stay under the $50 mark, and they are indeed 6" tall. I'm in. Dragon kits are expensive, they make quality kits, plus the Star Wars licencing, I can only guess as to the price.

I found some promo images and some info on the new upcoming Bandai Rogue one kits. 1/12 scarif trooper, 1/12 K-2SO. The Scarif trooper has 3 variations, captain, Squadleader and trooper. K-2SO is the one im looking forward to the most. Also Bandai is making a 1/6 Stormtrooper. It's interesting bandai is getting into another scale.

For vehicles there is  a 1/72 TIE striker, and 1/144 U-WING TIE striker combo.  On the bottom right corner of the bottom picture, there is an image of the Death Star. Finally we might get a good death star model.

The bandai model kit figures usually go for about 25-35 US dollars, depending on vac-plating, additional options ect. Personally I like the model kits better, not only are they cheaper, but you get different building options. The Scarif trooper for example has 3 building options, as opposed to the figuarts one option. I have no idea how much the 1/6 Stormtrooper  will cost.

Check it out! I a small unknown  scale ANH  Millennium Falcon. Website says its 99mm long, so thats slightly bigger than the 1/144 X-Wing. If the Millennium Falcon is 34.5m then 99mm is 1/349.49, practically 1/350. Release date late December.
Also this month is 1/144 or so Y-wing.
Btw the 1/6 Stormtrooper will cost 7,000 JPY, or a little less than 70 bucks.

It is very cool. However I don't know why they didn't go with the ESB Falcon. In the Empire Strikes Back the Falcon is in many ways the main character. I can think of several dios to build for the ESB, but not so much on the ANH. ohh well its still awesome. Its perfect for war gamers, same scale as big ship  FFG X-WING miniatures.

Here's a few promo images http://bandai-hobby.net/sw/jp/special/rogue1.html.   The Rogue one 1/72 TIE striker releasing January 2017 for 28 USD.  Also the 1/144 TIE striker and U-wing. They seem to also come with two hovertanks. Too bad theyre so tiny, but its cool they're included.  They'll be released February 2017.
More info on the Death Star however I cant read Japanese, so doesnt do a lot of good. I don't know if it's the concept series, or a full size model. I really hope it's full sized, bigger than a fist, and not the palm sized concept series.

And the Scarif trooper is 2,916 JPY which  comes out to 28 USD. A little steep, but you get 3 building options. Release date December along with K-2SO 2,592. JPY, Millennium Falcon and 1/6 Stormtrooper.

Lol. I hear that. Im trying to stick to OT, but its hard with these Bandai kits. Rogue one is OT enough, thats my rationalization. Definitely getting the 1/144 TIE striker and U-wing, but who am I kidding I'll get all of em.

I know what you mean. The 1/144 combo will be awesome, because you can also incorporate the 1/144 X-Wing and Y-wing, and make an entire battle scene. The Shoretrooper is going to set me back quite  few dollars, you know I'll end up gettin 3 or more.

This isn't  a model kit but I thought it was really cool. Bandai is making this AT-AT multi stand. It's a desk organizer with drawers, coin holder, pencil holder, USB cord holder, and all kinds of stuff. Its also fully articulated. They claim its 1/72, I must have a much bigger estimation of the size of an AT-AT. Gunjap has images of the Bandai 1/6 Stormtrooper. http://www.gunjap.net/site/?p=317103

Dammit one more awesome thing to have to buy. Looks very cool, i think the cost is around $70 USD. Pretty much the same as the 1/12 version just twice as big. I think it has extra articulation like in the toe. It also has a pre painted mouth grill in ANH fashion. It is specifically the OT version as opposed to rogue one.

I so need to pick up the other version, but this one will have to come home too. Thanks for the word. Off to share it.

For the price $70 or so, it looks cool. But accuracy wise it is way behind the other more expensive options out there.

Bandai gets better and better.
The interchangeable bipod is a very nice addition.

Sweet! Bandai is making a TIE fighter/TIE advanced two pack in their non specific scale line, basically an F-toys remake. I hope it comes out to 1/144, so it will match the X-Wing and Y-wing. Either way, they are really detailed.

I also came across a picture of a possible longterm lineup in the F-toys remake line. I can't say it's 100% real. As we all know, not everything on the Internet is true. But it looks authentic. Death star, AT-AT  and Super Star Destroyer  would be awesome. I wouldn't mind having the prequel kits either.

Also, details are out on 1/144 TIE striker, U-wing and imperial hover tank combo. The cost is 2,376 JPY, so about 20 USD give or take. Those will be cool.

So Bandai is making a couple of Yoda kits. It's a two for one deal. A 1/6 prequel Yoda, and a 1/12 Yoda statue (no articulation). It's kind of odd, but this would be first non armoured figure in kit form. I would get it just for the ESB yoda statue. I think they are going for about 30 USD.

Also in March comes the 1/144 AT-AT. I think im the last one to know about this. I didn't find out until yesterday on the BBTS ad. But anyway. Its all up on their official website.

Comes with little tiny drivers and looks like alternate hydraulic inserts fot the legs, depending on the position you place it.

I've been waiting for the AT-AT ever since that video of the mechanized one back in 2014 or 15 .   <iframe width="320" height="480" src="
frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>    Member? That was a while ago.  It's interesting that it comes with 2 sitting drivers, that leads me to believe the interior is detailed too, like the AT-ST. that would be cool to have a cutaway crossection option. It's certainly the most detailed and accurate production AT-AT model kit , by far. And 1/144 is respectable, 6" tall, packed with detail.
That 1/12 Yoda has potential, and the young yoda to me is the bonus.
Here's a cool promo video with english subtitles.

July, Jango Fett's Slave I. Also in july comes jedi starfighter (no image available) in the small vehicle series.

Alright its Force Friday pt. Deux. And that means TLJ reviels for Bandai. http://bandai-hobby.net/sw/jp/index.html

Sadly enough, they just seem to be re packs, with some variations, but it's a sequel, so it is what it is.

Yeah, you know anything can happen. However I'm somewhat dubious. I really like that new walker from the looks of things it may rival my affection for the AT-AT.

(Edit) my brother just told me Revell is making one. It will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine.

They are making the AT-M6 in the small vehicle lineup. I don't know the scale, I imagine 1/350 just to guess.   http://bandai-hobby.net/sw/jp/products/vm.html#vm012

I've been hearing rumors of a 1/72 B-wing. I think it has been confirmed. Releasing sometime later this year. It's pretty awesome, I've been wanting one for a long time.... long time.
There are talks of a TIE bomber, but nothing in the immediate future. Hopefully one day. One can only dream.

"No 1.72 B wing, only a 1.144 is coming out."

Ahh very good. 1/144 makes sense. 1/72 would have been awesome, but I'm really liking the variety and versatility of the 1/144 scale. Of course I don't concider anything "confirmed" until it's on the website. I gave up on those Dragon SW kits lol.

You know... B-wings are really difficult to determine size and scale, there's so little references. I think the old AMT kits were 1/94, and they were kinda small. 1/144 would be slightly bigger than half that. So meybe 4 inches, seems right, same size as F-toys (bottom left).  We shall see. Either way, it'll be cool.

Bandai is coming out with a couple of 1/5000 scale Star Destroyers.  One is lighted for about $125.0 the other is not for about $75. They are a little over 12" in length, half the size of the ZVEZDA/Revell Star Destroyer.  I think it's cool they come with in scale Tantive IV and Millennium Falcon. They will release in August. Sign me up. https://bandai-hobby.net/sw/jp/products/lineup.html

On the lighted kit, I don't fully understand why there are red/clear parts.  Maybe for lighting purposes? I don't really get it.  It's only for the limited edition first run lighted kit. I don't think it's necessary to getting the lighted effect. They just did it for kicks I suppose.?
