Hello everyone!
After a longer break I am finally back with a little update and new stuff I am working on. You know I basicly do fine art modern type paintings but I also discovered certain graphic art stuff, photomanips and things and so it happened that I thought about doing some fan art again - at least from time to time, Hey, I am still a scifi/fantasy fan ;-)
I was thrilled by Iron Pandas custom figures and he kindly gave me permission to turn his fem scout trooper into a graphic artwork my way. But enough babbling, here's the pic, hope you like it!

i always loved this style and seeing my figures this way gives me a whole new perspective on my work...seeing this makes me wanna built more "femmepire-babes"!!

Hmmm, well, I know what you mean but sorry, I am not going for sexy SW troopers, though I do some pin up-type SF-Fantasy ladies this is not what I am looking for in this galaxy. I leave it up to other artists and all the cosplay ladies :)

and please allow me to share my thoughts on the "female curves":
i thought with all my Femtrooper-customs:Why would they receive other Armor than her male comrades? that's why i didn't change the armor on all my Customs...i wanted tough Warriors,kind of like BSG's Starbuck(Katee Sackhoff,of course!) in Armor if you will
Well,at least it's only my humble opinion...

Hello everyone,
so here is my latest "translation" of a custom figure my Iron Panda into one of my artworks! This time I added even more details to the figure, more than one would do when thinking of a comic book style which my initial idea was when starting this type of work - at least a cross between illustration and comic style... anyway, that is just artists blabla, lets focus on the girl :)

Hello my friends, it has been a long time since my last posting (but always connected to the Yards via Facebook), and a long time since my last fan art. Much has happend in my art and focus has changed. I was looking for something new and remembered some sort of graphic art style, like a expressive woodcut print or so which I had developed in the past. No one loved it except me those days but anyway I had to follow my ideas and so after a second stepand try in 2015 and of course powered by the new movie I now made step no. 3 - and started fan art again :)

Now it is me who has a big smile on my face!! Many heartfelt thanks for your warm welcome, Shawn. Feels great to be back meeting old friends!! Yeah, funny to see what a new idea can power up, I am really on fire with this graphic style. Even working on a Finn poster right now and thinking of many more :)

Well, long time no read, struggling with a lot of things, you know. But finally I am back strongly focusing on and enjoying my sci-fi art again! I also started doing fan art again, still trying to bring my modern oil painting technique and Star Wars together but also doing digital artworks, now more painterly, sometimes more graphic. This is an example of a more graphic one: TARKIN. He now was a backcover of the Official German Star Wars fanclub magazine.
