They certainly look legitimate, though I had heard that Chewie was supposed to be missing an arm.

I for one can't get enough figures in the 6" format and if these are for real I'll be a happy chappy.

That was from an image that was either a concept image or fan art.  I'll modify this post with a link when I get home to my computer.
They do look excellent.
I cant imagine BB-8 being a stand alone figure.  He's tiny.  $20 for a ping pong ball with a head?
Peakob1 thought the articulation looked very much like 3.75 ball joints rather than TBS6 double hinged elbows and knees and I have to say, Chewie's body sure looks like VOTC Chewie.
Speaking of BB-8,  does anyone know anybody doing 3D printing commissions?  I asked jrny fan,  but he's swamped for now.  I figured out how to do the droid's head with magnets, but I need help with the body.   The design requires perfect sphere that fits within another perfect sphere, and that is WAY beyond my sculpting ability.

Jeff,

I know Shapeways has some tutorials I think. Probably the best out there would be Dayton Allen imo.
