Title: Union of the Force Convention
Post by: Commander_Kurgan on December 23, 2014, 04:29:34 AM: The UotF Con will be held on 7 February 2015 in Herne, Germany.
It may not be the largest Star Wars Con in Germany, but I'm sure, it will be a cool one.

Shipyard members Iron Panda, his Secret Apprentice and I, supported by two prime prop builders will exhibit our Star Wars-related customs, models and props as Imperial Shipyards - Chapter Rheinland (thanks, Tamer!).

If you happen to be in the area, why not come and see us?

Of course, we will take some pics for the other Yarders to enjoy!

The Chapter Germany of the Imperial Shipyards had a pretty good turnout with 9 People, not counting Art de Whill to kinda participated in absence.
You'll see what I mean when you look at the pics.

Although the rooms looked a lot larger on the floor plan and we could easily have used another table or two to better display our customs, models and props, we did the best we could to present the quality you find at the Yards.

I see Imperial Knights, a Bo Katan, a cool Boba... hmmm, thinking of new stuff for artworks ;-) And of course it is so nice to see my graphic work and the custom figure showcased together, thanks :)

And thanks so much for your generous offer, I'll come back on this, maybe starting with Bo Katan so it lines up with Andy's imperial femes. The two knights are gorgeous, too, I saved a shot from your feed here. I also dropped a note to the editor of the German fan club to ask him if he is interested in this kind of artwork for his magazine. So lets see...

Hi Andy, that is great to hear! :) Yeah, seeing the figure and the illustration together is really awesome! Thanks!!
Oh, so if I paint the Bo Katan figure this would make three artists working on one project - sounds cool - like the three tenors LOL
