Title: A question about posting in topics??
Post by: TomO on December 13, 2014, 08:34:08 AM
I was wondering how "old" a topic is to be considered a "dead" topic. I only ask, because  I see some topics I want to post in and they are over a few months old or older. Any help would be awesome.
Thank you in advance.
TomO.

Feel free to post in any topic. Nothing is ever officially dead around here!

We're a pretty forgiving forum when it comes to bumping things, provided you have something relevant to add to the discussion. If it's just to bump a three year old post to say, "Wow, good job!" then it's probably better if you exercise discretion.

Just want to vouch for everyone here as well. I've bumped some pretty old topics from being a few months to almost a year old. Granted it was my custom vehicle thread, but I only did it because I didn't want to post a new thread just for another custom. I've done quite a bit of custom ships, and with bumping the topic it also gave others a chance to see my previous works. I've done it and it hasn't been an issue, everyone is real chill here. I actually wondered the same thing when I hadn't posted there in a while the first time, but all is good.

I agree with smeagol92055 though. If its 3 years old and there's nothing relevant to add, then yeah I can see the issue there. You should be fine though, TomO. Everyone here is laid back, enjoy your stay.  :)

Thanks for the response guys. I'll use common sense.
