I'd love to find that Slave Leia on a VERY good price...I wish they'd make her into a mini bust. I got in the mail today my ROTS Anakin Skywalker mini-bust! It IS slick, let me tell you!

havent opened him as i ran out of room in my detlof. he looks all right tho, nothing great. just got him cause he was on clearance and i liked his parts in the novels. of the ones on clearance, mynock chewie looked the best but i decided to wait to get a regular chewie. still dont have him or han in bust form :-\

he is on clearance at bbts for $28. mynock chewie is $31 and zuckuss is $25. i mite pick up zuckuss if he is still on clearance next month. of course then i will want to track down bossk and ig-88. its a never ending circle.

i have gone a little gg crazy lately. i have 10 busts in various stages of on there way to joining my collection. they range from 1 sitting at the post office to just sending the payments for 3 yesterday. one good thing is the most expensive one is about a third of the boba bust i got a week or so ago, of course it still adds up. by the time i get another detlof to display them i mite need a 3rd one. i will post which ones as i receive them.

Sweet DC, anxious to see that. I know one thing though. If I have any more GG busts I am getting, I sure ain't pre ordering with GG! I have been trying to get them to update my at at driver classic bust order since my credit card expired in September. I still cannot get anyone to help me do this!

Man, when I checked my order they still had it listed to ship in April I think, but what you are saying makes sense DC. And now we have two more minibusts for Hoth? I guess the good news is I will have plently of time to save up for em! I put in my first order January of last year and still haven't gotten one yet! Might just have to let Pat work his majic!

I am looking forward to that Luke Hoth bust. I can do without the Han though. I wouldn't be surprised if they canceled the Classics line. The money really doesn't seem worth it. I'd much rather have a bigger mini-bust than a smaller Classic bust.

LOL. I hear you DC, I have forbit my family from buying anything Star Wars for me too! They still try to get me the odd thing every now and then, but I appreciate thier effort. The only thing that bugs me about that classics line is that they have an atat driver that I won't be able to get! I guess maybe I will be able to find it on the secondary market years from now because you know they probably made quite a few! I do see the sense in regards to the price though. I will probably pick up both the hoth han and luke as I am strictly Battle of Hoth focused now.

Here's on the Tamer needs to get, Mine arrived today and it is the first statue from GG I have boughten, I have busts and maquettes but I wanted this one since I first saw one. Incredible detail, not sold on the likeness but it's close enough.

Appears I have to eat some of my harsh words I had for GG over the years as I find myself adding a few more of their items to my collection. With my opinion of Hasbro's decline in quality and increase in price I have moved almost completely away from action figure collecting and instead am shifting to some "higher" end ( relative term) items. I don't think alot of GG's stuff is worth retail price but when you can find great deals on busts and other items, why not add them, to that my next item is one I liked for a while and when one pops up at $35.00 shipped, you gotta pull the trigger.
I have a couple more busts comming at even better prices.

Added another one this week. I always liked this one and kicked myself the last time Pat and I were at WW for passing it up. So when I saw one for a heck of a deal I had to snag it. I think GG got the look pretty good with this one.

Our Sarge is starting to rack up quite the GG display. That is another great addition. If you see any more TESB busts at decent prices and don't want to acquire them yourself let me know as you are looking! You can find a few of the bounty hunters and other main chars reasonable. I will probably try to pick up 1 a month for a while. The Leia was only 30 bucks shipped so it wasn't hard to pull the trigger. I want Boba Fett but I don't know if I can drop $200 bucks on one.

I was kinda thinking I may ask you guys to pick me one up to if you can find it at a great deal. Who knows, maybe if we all three buy one we can all get better deals? Just a thought. Scored me a B&W Luke Maquette and it arrived yesterday. This one looks great and makes me think I may need to find some more of the B&W formatted maquettes. For those that like low numbered items this one is #6 of 500. I will snap some pics over the weekend.

These have been a fun and addicting line to start on, now I do regret getting cranky at GG and selling all my older stuff off,
Anyhow another addition arrived today,
Clone Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi #387/5000.
I like this one alot, Clone Wars era Obi is fastly becomming one of my favorite charaters. The likeness is goodm armor is greta and this is a heavy bust.

I am at the point where I'd much rather spend $50 for a nice mini bust than that same amount on ANYTHING from Hasbro. I'd like to get about half a dozen more Episode III clones for customs! Besides, when you come up for Wizard World, you'll see how you can get a lot for half price or less!

Well getting back to the new scores, another one arrived today.
OT Han Solo Animated Maquette,
As of now I am indiffernt on the piece, I thought it would look a little better and stand better, this one has slotted foot pegs in the base and 1 steel peg to hold the maquette up, and it is a little unstable.
It does display well with the ACME character key however, This one is #424 of 3000,

Picked up another GG bust today, ESB Yoda, Nice, small but detailed. These can be found easily due to the 15000 edition size.
Here is a pic alone and compaired to the GG spirit of Obi Wan bust for size comparision.

Does anyone know if GG will still release the new Classic AT-AT Driver bust? It has been pushed back and also GG fans don't like this line at all. I'm getting a Classic Snowtrooper for $10 and looking for the AT-AT Driver - hope they still release it. :-\

YakFace! This one comes with a staff, Candy Cane, and Antlers which are all interchangeable! You can have Regular YakFace during the year, then remove his staff and replace it with the candy cane and antlers for Christmas!

Thanks guys. I like this statue but somehow feels cheap: no silver paint on mouth and chin area, stand/base is very small, he is attached to the base, weird pose. But since I'm a Stormie freak I still like it. And I'm sure the regular Stormtrooper will be much better.

Gentle Giant has been cleaning up their warehouses, and selling some previously sold out items to Premier Guild members. Today was the 4th one, and I was able to get the AOTC Clone Trooper Sergeant (Green stripe) for $60 plus shipping! I had to choose between that one or the Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious, as I just couldn't afford both of them. Makes me a happy camper!

Boy, I have to hand it to Greg at Gentle Giant: He's become my Guardian Angel at that place! I emailed because my account was messed up, it was not registering my updated credit card when I had updated it, so my orders were getting cancelled. Not only did he fix that, he's addressed my questions concerning their potential attendance of C2E2 in April (sadly, no) and even the fact that their links to order the Republic Commando mini-busts weren't working. He went ahead and put through an order for ALL 4 Republic Commandos; Scorch, Boss, Fixer, and Sev! I was worried I'd NEVER get all 4, and he got me all 4 ordered and canceled my original Scorch preorder so I don't get a duplicate! I got my shipping confirmation today, so they'll be here on the 12th! However, be careful for what you wish for; it's going to cost me more than $300 for all 4 delivered. Ouch!

I have to say, I am not so impressed with Sideshow these days. Look at that blank stare they captured with the head sculpt. He looks like he just saw a ghost or something. Wait till you see the spider Maul, the spider mechanisms look great then they went with a "Hero Sculpt" on his chest and arms. He looks like a super hero rather than a decrepid, mad, canibalistic Sith. If I was collecting pieces like this Kotobukia would be getting my money.

it's a Gi Joe snake eyes,about $4 (£2.51) from viperskingdom on ebay..........the hip on this figure splits the same as a Malgus.The separation point is flat across the torso instead of the usual curved waist joint.

Got the Deluxe Sandtrooper Squad Leader.....Its heavier then I expected it to be, I like it, it will go good with my new helmet display.

I just got in the PGM Veers and ordered the Jumbo Bossk today. I am really starting to become a sucker for the Kenner 12 inch throwbacks.

Yeah, its hard to get someone who has never seen them to understand how nostaligic these things are to the very first vintage three and three quarter figures.
And the other great thing, the packages are made to pop em out and then put them back in with no card or bubble damage.

Shawn, did you get the armored version of Veers? GG had sent out a Tweet on Twitter about the fact that at the zero-hour, they altered the design and those not getting the exclusive version got a non-armored version. Made a LOT of people pretty angry, and with good reason. It was too late for most to cancel their orders, and retailers like EE and BBTS are going to get stuck with tons of them.

Yes, I was able to get the PG Version back before I let my PG Membership expire, but thought I was being stupid because the other version was so much cheaper from the other etailers. Glad I did because with the PG version you get both armored and regular style. And yes, I thought it was pretty crappy to not tell anyone until it was being sent out. I also want to note that Most Wanted Collectibles was kind enough to send me a message informing me of the change and gave me the option to cancel my order for the regular version. I got it anyway and plan on using it as a prize.
