Well better late than never, right?

In case readers haven't heard, I am hitting a pretty rough divorce so I have been kind of silent of late. Anyway that's the delay in this year's showing of the faves. But it's finally starting so up today are 40-31, enjoy.

I gave your top ten a read yesterday. Glad to see Mara up there. Sad to see that was the only SW figure you were able to acquire for that entire year. Believable to be sure, but still sad.

I agree, the only other one I saw was Padme but I was broke at the time, darnit.  I did get Pablo Jill about a week ago, but that's too late to add (gotta have a cut off point).  Really liked him and he could have mede top ten easy.  Got Biggs too (super cheap) but him not so much LOL

I echo your statement about not really seeing anything past Wave 1 on the pegs. I have a feeling this newest wave is gonna be hard for me to find too. I just do my ordering through online etailers now. Its just not worth the hassle for me to get into brick and mortar stores and I just don't have the patience to deal with the constant SW awfulness I see on the pegs anymore. There are always 5poa figures (cause folks want figures that move duh!) and I see the Black Series (collector based line) turning more and more into this 5poa debacle too. That coupled with some awful paint jobs Hasbro's factories are putting on these figures anymore really makes me wonder about the future of the three and three quarter and six inch licenses. When I see companies like Medicom Mafex and now even Bandai getting ready to create SW figures (ones that move and have awesome paint apps) I can't but hope that someone else will get a three and three quarter license. Its not like Hasbro can say they are not aware of the distribution and quality control issues anymore, it is obvious they are just ignoring it and why wouldn't they? They have no competition and folks are still buying, many times defending what Hasbro is doing.

It's been really bad all around, SW is getting worse than ever this year.  GI Joe was this bad a few years ago (25th) and it came back after ROC pegwarmed (What I got from that was mostly dirt cheap on clearance).   I'm leaning heavy to online as well, What I hate is inflated prices coupled with shipping costs so I do that one sparingly if possible.  Still to make it economical I have to buy several at once and the way my money goes I can generally afford only one at a time.   Still there are moments I find great deals and can work it out (got some Marvel Infinates for under $5 each and added Deaths Head for $15, worked out that I still saved in the end, but those moments are few and far between).

I totally agree with #1! I have 30 of those hate filled little bastards (several customized into different variants based on the Classic series but reinvisioned in the modern style)!
