Title: Clone Trooper Echo CW#17
Post by: Clonehead on August 03, 2009, 02:42:59 PM
Picked up this figure at a walmart this weekend for $7.46
This super arty trooper features a head just like cody's and the body and articulation like Rex but with a belt instead of a kama. The helmet is a new sculpt with a movable flip-down visor. I believe that this is the droidbait figure that we found on ebay but without the hand print
he comes with a medium CW blaster and the large chain gun that launches a cw figure missle.
Finally, we start to get some cw clone troopers with removable helmets like cody and Rex.
I would love to have a legacy version of this figure.

That was exactly what I thought about the Droidbait... Echo minus the handprint and BIG gun.
Other than the occassional ill fitting joint or poor shaped armor piece like a lower leg, these are growing on me.
Like you I do prefer the  beefier Legacy type clones, but the articulation is growing on me.
I am liking that big gun, and it is released with lots of figs so you dont have to get a fig you dont want just to get one.
Imagine that ...... a fig you dont want?
Did you notice anything wierd with the left hand? like it was bendy rubber and didnt want to close firmly around the upper handle of the big gun?
Seemed like that with one of the green troopers i picked up.
Very nice looking. If I see one I will have to get a real one with the hand print on it.

Yep, I did notice that but had attributed it to how bendy the handles on that big gun are. Oh, and the blaster is super bendy, just the way that we don't like em.

Hmmm....perhaps this will see the light of day as one of Clint's real Legacy Clone Wars Clones. Build it Clint.

Sweet. We sure appreciate the help with Youtube Jay. I can see it is kind of tricksy sometimes. Geesh, I still haven't figured out how you used such a great background for your channel! I am thinking of opening a Youtube Q and A session, but figured you would be bugged by all the questions. Still, it is nice to see a vid every now and then. I think we all know that Clint would be awesome at it too. One of my future web goals is to do some pages of his reviews and can envision one page per individual review with his video being first followed by his text review and then his thumbnail gallery. Good lord knows how long it would take me to do that though.

well tamer i am a youtube partner which means i earn a percentage of all the revenue the ads generate on my vids and page(which equates to= not a lot!) also it allows me to have a channel banner and side image ,you have to reach a certain number of channel/video views + subscribers to be accepted for the partner program ,if you want me to do a  Q+A session thats cool bud.

Well that explains a lot. Yeah, if you would moderate a Q and A session on Youtube I know I for sure could ask a few questions. I would love to see more Shipyards videos too.
