Ah, the 5 POA pain. I also read this one referred to as Ben 10 and I kinda agree with whomever that was! ;D

OH DEAR GOD.....CRAPTACULAR. Talk about dropping the ball Hasbro. Rebels looks promising as a show but as far as merchandise goes it's an epic FAIL.
-
After just messing with a Sideshow Darth Malgus all day and marveling at every single part of it being flawless I just see this as a way for me to save more money for better SW Product.
-
Same. I won't be purchasing any of this rubbish. My other hobbies will get a bit more attention now. I'm not blowing my $$$ on this garbage.
-
Is it confirmed that they will only have 5 POA, or was this just a mock up to show the character model?

All of the REBELS figures will be 5 POA.

5 POA, get real.
-
i have no interest in Rebels whatsoever at the moment ....

There are some folks that really seem to like these even though it seems to me to be de-evolution here.
The main argument is that it keeps the cost down, but I would bet money that the cost of these is gonna be pretty comparable to the regular action figure line when these premiere. They might be a bit cheaper, but I bet not by much.

Keeps the costs down....in other words we're producing garbage because we're tight arses.
CHEAP WORK ISN'T GOOD AND GOOD WORK ISN'T CHEAP.

I was a child of the 80's, no reason my G.I.Joes from then should be more poseable then figures coming out in 2014. This stinks. I was excited for the show( though very disappointed at the ending of clone wars), really hope they come to there senses and change this.

The good news for our last Q and A with Hasbro was that it sounded like they weren't going to totally do away with what we would call super articulation, but it seems figures like this will be the exception not the norm.
And I do agree, folks want figures that move. Kids and adults, contrary to popular belief.

Was shopping in a TRU this weekend and found a Kanan and Ezra two-pack with a third mystery figure. The technique worked on me, before I left the store I went back and grabbed one. When we got out to the parking lot we opened it to reveal our... I'm guessing everyone around here already knows what the mystery figure is but if not and you don't want it spoiled stop reading now. The mystery figure is a static ghost of Obi-Wan much like the 90's POTF mail in but a younger version. Did anyone else pick this up?
-
I haven't seen one yet, but am not sure I will be picking up too many figures from this line. I am gonna have to have an AT-DP Driver though. Good to see you around KRI!
-
Thanks. And I didn't think I would be picking up any from this line either but somehow now we already have Zeb, Kanan and Ezra, so Sabine, Chopper and Hera must be coming soon. Just like everyone else I'm not happy to see the 5 POA thing happening, but I guess that does allow them to lower the price to 2 figures for $10.
-
The only reason I picked up an Ezra figure is, because my daughter likes the character. She put him on her bookshelf and doesn't care about his limited articulation.
I'll get Sabine as I might be able to use her for parts.
Other than that...no Rebels stuff for me.
