Title: bornvirgo customs
Post by: bornvirgo on November 18, 2013, 06:37:25 PM
I was told by a friend to try to post some of my customs up. I hope everyone likes and I would love any constructive criticism. I haven't been doing this long so please keep that in mind.

Good to see you post here, Kevin  :) We've already discussed these in our e-mail conversation. Hope to see more of that Nimbus Commando in the last pic!

Thanks everyone. Remco, my hope is to have the commando done by next week. Also looking at doing an Alto Stratus to go with the commando.

Very cool stuff! Only criticism, probably shouldn't use the Sunday ad as a backdrop, but other than that, great work!

A basic head swap, had to make the lightsaber though. Here we have Tallisibeth Enwandung-Esterhazy, as known as Scout. I tried something simple, but reimagined her as a Knight, since she refused to give up her Jedi ways after Order 66.

Very nice, Kevin. Head swaps are a great way to expand your collection of figures and to have more diverse Jedi, Sith, troopers and what not.

You should check this out, awesome list by scummer Greycap: http://forum.rebelscum.com/t1033072/

Nice idea for Scout.  Have you made customs of other characters from the Republic Commando novels?  Check out my pages.  I've got most characters.  Been wanting to re-do Dr. Uthan and Bethany.  Others I'd like to create is Kina Ha, Scout, Arligan Zey in non-Jedi clothes, Yayax squad as farmers, Mird, Rede, Roly Melusar, Sa Cuis, Ennen, Bry, Maze and Zey as cops on some less-than-metropolitan planet, Camas, Altis, Kad as a kid, and a squad of Imperial Commandos.  It happens that I'm reading the last book which should have been the second to the last one.  Ah well.

I haven't had a chance to read the novels, but my interest in Clone Wars era EU characters. I'm looking into characters like Jon Antilles,  Keeleyvine Reus, Akku Seii, and possibly a dio of the Siege of Saleucami.

The Siege of Saleucami would be epic!

Yeah, i wanted to make Morgukai before, but after i saw the Siege, i feel like it would be a great project to take on. Between the figures i have and customs that I've commissioned from other customizers, i only really have the Nikto characters to do and the background.

Great job, my daughter and i love the work.
Great use of the Scarlet body.
What head did you use? She wants me to try and get one so she can try to make a version.
Again, great job

Mako looks cool. That's a Jedi Knight Bultar Swan head isn't it? Nice job on her.

Really nice figures! The Twi'lek jedi is excellent. It looks like a GI Joe Baroness body under there. Using Bultar Swan's head for Mako was a great idea.
