Hi friends,
Here I'll show my (attempt to created) customs vehicles. I never had access to any kind of specific "how to". The materials we have in Brazil aren't similar to the ones you guys usually use, that make the custom creation even more harder.
All I achieved was due to the help of a great plastic artist called Panza (from ukko e etc).
My first vehicle was an assault speeder. It is just a Zam's Speeder with some guns attached to it.
Let me know what are your impressions. All kinds of feedback are welcome.

I confess I was not satisfied with the result obtained after finishing this particular custom. To my eyes is missing something, I dont know.
Fortunatelly all the other vehicles I created after that yellow fighter "pleased me a lot". The inspiration for the 3 vehicles bellow came from the Smuggler Alliance, a faction that has an absurd potential to be explored in the custom universe.

Are all of these GI Joe vehicle mods? I recognise several but not all of them. The yellow one is very nicely done bt I agree is missing something. I would love to see a verticle wing that could swing up and down like the V-19 Starfighter.
The brown vehicle is simple but cool. Works perfectly and I love the grimey look. Not much of a cockpit in that one it looks like.
The silver one with blue windows is a vehicle I hope to get my hands on. I love what you have done here! Are the wings on a hinge or ate they stationary? A very nicely designed vehicle.
The kit bash/scratch built speeder bike is brilliant! Really love it and the figure beside it.
The final vehicle is just awesome! Would love to see what is inside! I think it would be even better if you used the paint treatment we see on the side on the top of the vehicle as well. Just my opinion but it rocks as is. I really love your style and paint aps. Can't wait to see what else you have in store for us.

Hey Spywalker, yep I entetred with all I got.
All of this customs are based on Joe's vehicles. I'll that a note of your V-19's concept. I believe it would be really cool if can be done in a light starfighter.
The brown vehicle actually is a small module that comes with the last (cargo) ship in the list. It can be placed inside the big ship.
The silver wing is my #2 favorite custom by now. It was originally a Cobra Wolf which I added the s-foils, a turbine and some guns to the original structure. The wings are stationary. This particular ship was created based on the "ugly" concept.
Despite of owning the custom speeder, this custom wasn't done by me. It is a commissioned creation from Ukko e etc especially for me. It was put on the pic just to shoot a scene. ;)
The final vehicle is my current favority. It took some weeks to be finished. I considered to change even more the top parte (which is originally black), but changed my mind when I realized that the interior could be really old and more "used' than the exterior parts. I'm currently working on a speeder bike and a Fallout's Hummer. As soon as I get solids results I'll share it.

Running Wild!
Hi friends, I came back just in time to wish you all a merry christmas. This end of year was a little bit hard for me due to the end of my graduation, but everything is ok now.
Well, in the meantime I finished my last project. I was working in a brute vehicle inspired by Fallout and Mad Max series, wich I'm a big fan since I was a kid.

the miner slug turned out cool. Like the interior shot. The Mad Max rig from December, however, is a mind scrambler! Not sure how I missed that one.

Man that is a great looking vehicle! GI Joe vehicles modified to fi into the SW verse are one of my favorite aspects of customizing. Great touch with the X-Wing wings at the bottom. What really seals the deal for me is the weathering you added. Very nice work!

I was really going for the more standard tank look with a turret mounted on top like yours! I'm glad to see one done that looks so good, more motivation to get mine put together. Hi Ray, the main structure belongs to the latest HISS Tank released.

What did you use for the top turret? If you could get a picture from an above angle to see how you positioned it that'd be cool. I don't know yet what turret I'll use... I've got a few to pick from. I'm hoping to get some work done on it within the next few weeks.

well I feel kind of dumb. I didn't realize that the newest version of this had the turret included. shows you how rare the new gi-joe toys are in my area! (and how behind I am at keeping up with what is being released!).
I was thinking when I first saw this that it was a modified version of the original POC line HISS tank.
Your weathering job and all the other added details are still fantastic. Very nicely done.

Wow, what a great vehicle. Love the Death Race Movies. Matter of fact gonna watch a new one tomorrow. This vehicle would fit well in the JOE Verse and Zombie or Post-Apocalyptic verses too. Expect to see it on the front page tomorrow.

Man, really nice work on both vehicles! Love the Tank mods and new paint scheme! The Rusty Runner is bad ass! Love the additions you have made and the paint work combined with the weathering looks very realistic!

I really like the colors on it and how you found the exact colors of this project is great! My favourite detail on this custom are the new cannons!

One can see the difference now. And I thought Hasbro's paint apps were good! Well, they are better than before, but THIS is something else. Epic make-over on this one! If I have a second one of this tank, I'll give him some weathering to get some variety. Those could be quite cheap on clearance. Sometimes I wish I lived in the U.S.

Finished my ATST conversion, lots of small increments and efforts were put on this one. I'm really happy how it turned out as I'm aiming to replicate the movie model as best as I can. It's not 100% movie accurate, but it's satisfying.

I like your attention to detail like the drilled holes for the main cannons. Like on your Rogue One Tank the paint looks amazing on this AT-ST. If I got The Black Series AT-ST (http://www.imperialshipyards.net/SMF/index.php?topic=10220.0) that cheap, I'd be tempted to customize one as well. If I remember correctly this one could be found on Clearance for as low as $9.99. The cheapest one of The Black Series that I got was 30€. Well, if I break down the SOTDS Hoth Assault Pack from 2010 the cheapest Walker was probably about $20. Good times...
I think you nailed the shade of grey used by the Galactic Empire and I also enjoy how you recreated the weight of the vehicle on the diorama base! That's the kind of stomping action I like and only know from Jurassic Park. haha And I also like how you filled or covered all holes for the screws with additional details and added this battle damage to the body's front. As JDeck already said, this could be confused with a fine model by Bandai. And I think that's a big compliment. This is a dream project of many and as far as I remember not your fist custom Scout Walker, right? The rusty one was another impressive idea. Really well done, mate!

Thanks! Converting this AT-ST to a more movie-like model is not too hard to be honest and I hight recomment as first try. When the time comes for you to make you own just hit me up, I can help with the steps. I still have two AT-STs in the line, one with the desert theme and the last one base on the Marauder's version from Mandalorian.
The base does have a bit of jurassic park vibe with the stomp mark on the ground indeed!

Thanks, guys! The rock is made of plaster, I carved the rock profile out of foam and styrene, them drop plaster over and it is done. The paint did the final trick.

I finally finished the Mandalorian's Walking Terror. If you are not thrilled with the hasbro's raider AT-ST, well, you're not alone. Dont get me wrong, I love when hasbro releases stuff; new cast, old cast, overpriced and stuff. With some custom work the vehicle can be better, and by that I mean way better. I'm finally done with my AT-STs tour and finished the last one I had in line. Different from the other two which had a heavy and light weathering applied to it, for this one I choose to only replicate the classic colours and that's it.
To be honest this one could be moved to another dio so I still want to have the oportunity to mod it further.

Okay, I tend to being late on here. You knocked those Scout Walkers out of the park as much as you knocked me out of my Baby Yoda socks, man. So I needed to pick up my jaw first before I could leave my comment.
I got one question since you shared your AT-ST Raider from The Mandalorian: Did you modify Hasbro's original TVC release or is your Raider a complete repaint of the Black Series version?
I'm extremely curious because I don't see any chance for me to get my hands on the Klatooinian Raider from Hasbro for an affordable price. But I might pick up a TBS one without toes for 45€ next week. I'm going to cast the missing toes in resin and repaint it completely.
Yet, I doubt that mine will look as good as yours. I went back looking at the pictures of your latest A- and B-Wing and your paintjobs look just straight professional. Every touch by the brush looks accurate, the paint is applied nice and evenly and your chipping is one of the finest I've seen.
Same applies to your second AT-ST. I think you nailed the shade of grey. hehe
I really like how you add more detail to your Scout Walkers. It does make all the difference in order to make them look like movie props. This tooling will always remain one of my favorites by Hasbro. I still feel the excitement of the time when Hasbro announced this new design back in 2008. I was so happy that I had patiently waited full of hope for an all-new design.
And now we're here: TBS AT-ST were sold as cheap as $9.99 USD at TK Maxx and left all possibilities for us customizers to modify & repaint them. Must be good to live in the U.S.

My Raider AT-ST was made 100% using the Hasbro's Mandalorian version (pic bellow), but in the end is doesnt matter if you pick the Mando, the Black series or even any of the previously version. They are all the same, only the paint vary. Since is a complete repaint, I would get the cheapest one I can get.

Finally finish this toy conversion. I had a lot of setbacks during the process, filling the assembly and projectile holes was challenging, but getting close to the colors was the hardest part.
I also had better expectations for the base, I was expecting to achive a dynamic cloud and ended with a candy cotton block ~ I'll remake the base at some point in the future.

The conversion looks really good. I'm sure those holes were a challenge but the ship looks fantastic and the paint job is brilliant. I know color matching can be really challenging (I mean really challenging) but the colors look really good. I don't think the clouds looks that bad, but I can see why you might not be fully satisfied with them. Maybe trying to figure out how to put some darker shades into them would help - but...I don't know the first thing about coloring batting/cotton stuffing. I love that one of your pilots has a helmet and the other doesn't.

The base looks good. Honestly if you got a wispy effect, it wouldn't last long long enough to take pictures, but it wouldn't be permanent. You could have a black base, but make some kind of cloud effect when photographing.
