Hello again!
You must be getting sick of me and my Neimoidians by this point 8D
I do a lot of Star Wars art in my free time (which is gradually dwindling, these days...), mostly centered around Neimoidians...what else? I already posted earlier about the Teekay-421 magazine cover I made, so this shall be my general artwork. I expect to update it, as new pieces come out 8D.

Thank you so much; believe me, if I can draw, anyone can! I'm really not an artist, and I still have a long ways to go. It just takes gobs of practice, motivation, and inspiration (which Neimoidians have given me in excess!)

I...I don't know what to say. Thank you SO much; I'm so happy you think my art is good enough for that! It'd be an honour to help out. I'm going to have a very busy couple of years (I'm in my third year of uni, and just started my master's degree), but I would love to work with you on that, when that comes to fruition.

I...honestly don't have much work outside of Star Wars, at least not anymore and certainly not recently. I've been asked recently to do a Transformers request, which I'm still debating whether I should accept or not...but that's about it! I will certainly keep you all updated with future work, though!

Just got a new piece done today: my idea for a possible appearance of Rune Haako in The Clone Wars.
I based his attire on his Episode III robes, with a few minor changes. I made the sleeves less droopy, as was done with Nute Gunray's Episode II robes, probably to make animation easier.

I'm not going to argue or start any flame wars, but I wholeheartedly believe everyone deserves both equal treatment both socially and in the eyes of the law, regardless of sexual orientation!
(and for the record...I've always suspected Rune Haako of being portrayed as possibly gay 8D)

It was more along the lines of university work and exceptionally bad family issues...which kind of turned into a health problem. I'm doing a little better now, thanks; at this point, it's a matter of letting things settle down :)

Back to normal again with more Neimoidians. My newest piece: a Neimoidian mother and infant.
Yes, I know this is completely socially incorrect given that Neimoidians give birth to multiple young, and don't even raise them until they're seven years old...but I've wanted to do this piece for a few weeks now. I love the image of mother and child...it's just so beautiful, and even holy. I've been trying out a new colouring style, since my Spirit Day picture, and I have to say I'm rather liking the results.
And interesting thing to note is that it's been exactly one year to the day since my Vorn Zaday picture (from my 2011 set), so I'm quite happy to see some progress, even if it is slow!

New holiday artwork!
I'm SO happy I got this done in time; I was beginning to have my doubts for a while. I started this, months ago, as a simple sushi picture, but the base was too good to pass up for Christmas. I'd like to make it clear, though, that I'm not, in any way, reinforcing the stereotype that Neimoidians are racist (which I already think is pretty baseless) - I had eaten sushi the night I conceived this picture, and was inspired, months ago, by another picture I found on Pixiv.
Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas (if you celebrate it). May your day be full of joy, and your Neimoidians always green!

Today is my third Neimoidian anniversary! Obviously they've been with me FAR longer than just three years, but it was three years ago today that my love for them took on a new level.
In honour of the occasion, I have TWO new pictures. Technically, it's just two versions of the same picture; I couldn't decide which I preferred, so I ended up making both. Which do you like better? I'm in the process of deciding which will become my new profile picture on another website, and I could definitely use some help :)

Apologies; I know it's only been three days, but I have yet another new piece.
I'm sorry to say it ISN'T a Neimoidian piece (that may, however, please some of you); an artist on deviantART requested Ahsoka in her slave princess clothes from the Kadavo arc. I've never drawn Ahsoka before, though I've been meaning to for a while, but I had a great time doing this piece! The pose and lighting, especially, were fun to play with.

I actually did in about an hour and a half (and even that's a bit long for a speedpaint)...the extra 30 minutes was spent getting in online :)

I thought I'd take on realism for the first time ever. I know the image of Lott Dod isn't original (I based it off of the newly posted (and HD!) image of him on Wookieepedia here http://images.wikia.com/starwars/images/b/ba/Lott_Dodd_thumb.png (http://images.wikia.com/starwars/images/b/ba/Lott_Dodd_thumb.png)); but I hope it's a decent start.
I actually, at one point, thought I would DIE while doing this...but at least I got to stare at the beautiful Senator for a day. Always worth it! Call this a tribute to my favourite Neimoidian and Star Wars character, if you wish :)

Kav Daak isn't actually my character, he's an OC I drew for someone else. I, personally, don't mind if you want to make a custom of him. If you do, please take pics (and know that if a time comes to let him go, he'd have a warm home with my other 'Moids 8D). I think you could probably do it with either a Mouse head (from the Comic Book pack) or a Lushros Dofine with the hat trimmed away.
I might do a custom myself, actually.

I'm hoping this qualifies as a new art piece, but I've made yet ANOTHER Neimoidian plush.
I decided back in February that I needed a female Neimoidian to go with my hug-sized Neimoidian, and here she is!
She still needs a hat, but is otherwise finished. She's made out of the same materials as the male, except for the eyes. Since the fabric shop was out of red velvet, I used a shiny material instead, and, frankly, I like the effect better. I think it makes her more expressive and lifelike 8D

Been a month since I submitted something. Unfortunately, I've been caught up with exams, and dormant until now. I did, however, do a little something for Eurovison. I loved Greece's entry so much (seriously, if you haven't seen it yet, go and see it, your day will become 362% better for doing so), that I had to do a Neimoidian picture for it! 8D
I'm a bit distressed to say that I've also been dealing with a plagiarism and copycat issue, lately. I'm hoping for a conclusion shortly; however, it's been an upsetting month, to say the least.

Just something quick and fun to get the creative juices flowing again! I've had a lot of people ask me, over the years, the identity of various Neimodians in the films, TCW, and my artwork...so, hopefully this can serve as a sort of guide 8D

Just a few things to point out:
First off, I have actually NOT mislabeled Mik Regrap; it's actually Wookieepedia which is wrong. The source naming Mik Regrap is "Dressing a Galaxy," and in the images, the Neimoidian identified as Mik Regrap is NOT the one with the blue hat ploov...s/he's actually the other one! Which means, yes, I have two incorrect pieces of artwork, one of which is now in the Belgian archive of literature...woo.
Secondly, while this isn't technically official, Tey How, in Episode I, is the Neimoidian in the beginning of the film who likes ventilation shafts; Sil Unch is the one at the END of the film who tells Daultay that the ship is losing power. This Neimoidian has a distinctly deeper voice than that of Tey How and even pronounces words differently. I've therefore concluded that they must be two different Neimoidians.
Thirdly, I don't even for a second buy into the whole "Rune Haako in Episode II" thing for a second. That Neimoidian is, was, and always will be Gilramos Libkath. End of story. Next, Dod's Aide is in TCW 3x03, Canay's Aide is in TCW 3x04. Finally, Yee Moh in Episode II is hard to spot. Another new plush!
Some of you may have gathered that I am really very fond of Tey How, and have been doing a lot of work around her recently.
This is my third large Neimoidian plush (fourth if you include my life-sized one), and one of the most huggable plushes I've ever made. Everything is soft, including her goggles, which are made of a shiny silver material, and her mouthpiece is removable. Personally, I think she looks cuter without it.

Oh man...sorry for the inactivity lately. Been a busy year for me.
Just got a new picture done in time for Christmas; spent about four days getting everything together and I worked a solid 14 hours on it yesterday. Hope you all had a very happy Christmas with lots of family, food, and no gastrointestinal diseases.

New piece - a design for a Neimoidian chessboard, inspired by a picture a friend of mine did for me, as congratulations for getting a Star Wars character named after me. I fully intend on making this board, as soon as I can scout out a chess set and some art shops in Exeter.
Also, this was just published yesterday. The Daily Dot did an article about me and my Star Wars character (his name is Zill Kartay, and he's a Neimoidian!!!), so I'll leave it here, if anyone's interested in reading it. This has been a very interesting month, with all that's happened :)

Oh my word! I cannot believe how long it has been since I posted here. I promise I have not forgotten ISY or anyone here; I've spent the last four months finishing up university work, which took precedence. As of Friday, I now officially have a Master's Degree in astrophysics :)
I'm just going to do a bulk post of the pictures, which are worth posting, that I've done since then. Granted, there aren't that many. I've been testing out a new outlining style, which I'm happy with; however I'm still experimenting on the colouring.

I can't remember if I submitted the work in progress, or not, but regardless, I finally finished my Elsamoidian piece, simply so that I wouldn't have to through the entire month of July without finishing or submitting a piece of work :)
(I'm also now officially a graduate (and unemployed...). I graduated from the University of Exeter on July 18 with my Master's Degree in astrophysics :D)

Taking a lesson from years past, I'm posting this one a day early.
I'd like to apologise for my lack of activity; my father passed away quite suddenly in early September, and even now, I'm nowhere near being close to settling everything with regards to his death. As such, it leaves me little time, energy, and motivation for artwork. Regardless, I thought I would do a little something for Christmas. It's not nearly as detailed or grand as past Christmas pictures, but it's something; this was actually an idea someone gave me last year, to do Lok Durd as Santa.
