Today's new addition on a super clearance @ TRU

Battlepack $6 bucks Y-wing $30 bucks. I was sooo happy I got the Y-Wing at a super cheap clearance.

Some I find at my local comic shops cause my local retails like TRU, Kmart, Target and Walmart gets everything last, by the time they have them in stock I been had them from comic shops costing me 2-3 dollars more.. My TRU and Target have all the lastest things now after such a long, long wait. I normally like to have 2-3's of each hard to get figures or just in general that way when someone needs something I got an extra and trade for something I don't got.

This is an awesome collection !!! Reminds me of what i used to have before i had to sell most of it lol i just kept my figures . I too always thought i could rival steve sansweet one day. Sorry to hear that I do hear that a lot from a lot of collectors I know.. It sucks but it's something we do when we're in a financial dilemma. I live in NYC and have a great job, that's one thing I am not worried about. I love collecting anything and everything as long as I enjoy it. I meant to take pics of old my old stuff like sectors, inhumanoids,  Masters of the Universe, thundercats, I did show some of my vintage joes with a few completed vehicles like my all time fav. Rolling thunder. I also have starcom and a few other old stuff. I'll get around with more pics.

My ToysRus still carries old star wars stuff and most time the clearance is insane. Both Turbo Tanks I own were 12 bucks clearance and all the clone wars vehicles in white boxes were 10 bucks each. I get lucky.

Yes it did hurt when i sold my collection . And maybe you can imagine what its like watching some of your childhood memories  get sold just like that lol. But you got to do what you got to do. i would love to see some masters of the universe pics as well as the thundercats they  were awesome . Btw i too live in ny as well, we are practically neighbors . Are you planning to go to comic con?

Your collection is very awesome I enjoyed seeing the Transformer love in there too....your lucky to have a TRU that puts Star Wars on clearance all I get is buy one get one half off cuz they never lower the damned prices

Thank you, I do have love for all toys and brands. I guess so, I mean my TRU is shitty but they take forever to lower down prices on stuff. In the end they know I normally spend 100-300 on clearance.

Thanks Tamer, it still a working progress. I know a few who have never seen much of the CW vehicles or character figures. When I started collecting it was right in 2010 when clone wars was on air. The series was getting better and the toys were a nightmare. Sadly TCW toys some are just impossible to get or extremely expensive. It's like the Y-wing Bomber from the CW, a lot never knew it existed.

A new addition to my collection.

The one of a kind OTC ESB Slave I. I finally have the one I originally wanted but its a lot on ebay but because its the wrong one sent to me, it's FREE!!!!. (Which was the wrong one the sender sent me instead of the SAGA AOTC Jango Slave I, Which I get to keep and getting the one I originally bought sent tomorrow)
I decided to display it along with the Outrider.

Thanks, it's my pro cam canon rebel t3i. I retouch the pictures with a tint green or orange giving them a lively jungle feel.

That's the entire 20 figures from the B.A.D Line including the only 2 hard to get and most expensive Dark Trooper Phase 3 and HK-47. The rest are doubles and triples. (Which of course I will use for trading for other figures)

I had to get this update on the fp.

The TK Stormtrooper is on a pipe mannequin, not me. My legs and booty is way to thick for that TK outfit, lol. As far as action figure hounding, well, I have to continue the mission in getting them all. Those are dupes and I got a lot more dupes up for trading that way it's easy to get other stuff I need instead of selling. After all, they are toys and we're all here on the same reasons to collect cause it's a hobby and a passion.

I mean I know a lot of people are always in financial problems and prefer making money by raising the market value of the toys so high cause there will always be mindless people to buy them at that price and spread the word.. Oh those toys are worth that much. Then you got the toy pirates since I dislike the word "Scalpers" ( I have a native american friend who took is SO offensively when I said, that's how people call toy pirates here) who jack up prices for the desperate people....

Just go on ebay and find 'em lol. I hawked for a week watching that huge lot for only $10 USD each droid plus a free R4 astromech and 2 more droids he sent cause I was nice to pay what he asked which was 480 USD. 4 of those droids are over at least 70+ on ebay thank the toy pirates so that lot was worth the 10 USD's each.

Looks good though. Your hauls are great, I too drop a couple hundred at comic book stores and tru during sales for marvel and star wars, mostly for fodder though. My best recent haul was four django figs a couple days before they were banned, got 4 for 120 and now they are worth a ton.

Congrats, nice find with the Fox, haven't seen any of the new clone commanders in the wild yet. Also the Republic Forces sets are really nice too! Not a huge Lego fan myself, but they have been putting out some very nice sets like the Jabba ones.

I'm in love. The collection is nice too. You've only been collecting a few years and have a nice collection already. Addictive isn't it? You have some hard to find stuff too. Like the build a droids? Some of them were impossible to find in stores. May the Force be with you. It's very cool to see a woman collector.

I would love to know more about prototypes. Do they come with certificates of authenticity? How do you tell? I have seen a ton of information on the older Kenner ones and some counterfeits out there and just wonder what one would have to do to verify you have one before buying.

Depends cause the early shot prototypes during EPI productions were fake pastel looking ones. Even some modern era ones are fake you can tell by the material used. The legit prototypes have either LFL stamp with the origin and date. Most prototypes come from china factories, some can be from production defects or pulled copies they have been laying around. The thing is, there isn't any certificate since SW figures and products are made in "CHINA". The seller I bought these have legit factory prototypes which are pulled copies from original copies.
