This was a fun contest determing the best rendition of Nicol Acris for Clone Crazy's next Photo-Novel. I was quite impressed with all the entries and here they in no particular order. Please vote for your favorite and this thread will be locked down around one week from this date (6/25/12). Good luck to all the participants.

Great job everyone!!! I think this was one of the coolest custom contests in ISY history and I am humbled by the great submissions. Thank you so much for your time and hard work, it really paid off!!! Stay tuned as I'll be emailing Tamer the author's choice winner shortly...

I don't think my entry is a bad figure. I like him. I just really LOVE the other entries. I would add any of these figures to Elias' collection in a heartbeat. I just feel the other customizers put a lot more work into their figures than me and should be rewarded for their efforts. I just swapped out head and hands and did a wash on his arms. It took less than an hour to make and I can tell that the other artists spent a lot more time on their entries. My comment had more to do with the amount of effort that I put in. I just really appreciate the heart the other customizers put into this. I do appreciate the votes and I'm really glad people appreciate the look of the figure. I hope my entry at least inspires people to make one of their own and reduce all the pegwarmers we're seeing in stores. I guess what I was trying to communicate that I would just rather see one of the other customizers win it.

I do so agree with your sentiment Brian. Take some of the existing pegwarmers and turn them into something cool.

As far as the Author's choice CloneCrazy has decided on the entry by DocOutlands and I did like that figure too. Congratulations too Doc!

WOOOHOOO! You've made my week. I know the other entries were really good, but I put about 12 hours into that figure and used 2 GIJoes, a WED Tredwell, a Transformer, a Halo figure and a couple of BaD parts to make him. I dont think I have another one like him in me. My kids are thrilled too. To hear them talk to their Mother (who thinks I'm nuts, BTW) they feel it was a great family honor. I aint gonna tell em otherwise.
