As I've now completed the 22nd chapter of the series I usually take a few weeks off before starting work on the next installment. Given that I have spent the last two years working on this project I'd like to share some of my favorite images from the series so far.

every single frame is mind-blowing work, Jules, blood, sweat and tears, but also a lot of fun - you have an awesome talent which deserves all honor and glory. I so love that image with the super battle droids, the scenes in space, action, you have a wonderful sense for composition, depth of fields and dramatic lighting and you can truly be very proud of your work! Thanks so much for sharing it with us.

Had a super-hard time pickin' a fav... I think I like the shot of the 3 yellow nosed y-wings the most... I think... :)

A little update for you, I'm going to publish this comic in Flip-Book format on the web, making it more accessible to readers and users of smartphones and tablets. It will read just like a comic.
I'm in the process of creating the physical artwork for the software, backgrounds etc, and a front cover for the story. Here is the front cover I worked on last night... Come on LucasArts, the X-Wing series needs to be revived! 13-years is a long time, and with the advances in technology this would be the best Star Wars game ever created! Us Original Trilogy fans need it, and need it bad!

Tamer, I've not been able to devote any time to my projects of late, when I do get an evening free I fall asleep almost as soon as my posterior hits the chair. I do miss X-Wing so maybe I'll do another chapter while I'm pondering how to deal with Homeworld Chapter 4.

Been a long-time fan of your X-Wing Alliance series man, so it's nothing short of disgraceful that I've never seen this thread before!!

Amazing art, hangarbay94. Particularly your space battles, they're so very uniquely stylistic that I wish I had them in a real-life comic book.

I must confess I've not really looked at the graphic art section before! But you are producing some brilliant artwork here! I'm fairly sure you must be doing something in the art & design industry for a living, if your not, why not? I love the mix of models and artwork, 3d with 2d! It works really well!
Plus your compositions and colours are excellent! I would be interested in seeing some of your non Star Wars art, as I'm sure you must have some! All in all excellent I'm most impressed, even more so than I expected to be! :)

I knew you would have something! Love them! The orange & gold sky's are beautiful & I see you were already creating your own models, other than the Spitfires! I can see how much Star Wars inspired you, just swap the Spitfires for X Wings & you are there! A great start to a great artistic career! You have some serious talent! :)

I just love your work, like i have said before, Your style is fantastic.
I love the Homeworld saga, i wish you much luck in getting back into the X-wings. They have been a favorite of mine since i heard that famous, call "red 5 standing by"
As a history buff, your imagining of the Mixed tech of Battle of Britain, is something akin to the Sky Captain but much better.

ooooohhh life! I've been putting all of my creative energies into renovating a house over the last 6-weeks, so I've had precious little time to devote to my hobby. As a consequence the next chapter is going a while longer to complete. Because of this I seem to have changed my approach into something a bit more artistic. Taking more time to enjoy the process a bit more.
This time round I'd like to share some of the creative process with you by showing resource material, writing and story drafts as well as some step-by-step Photoshop work.
This is my latest image. It shows B-Wing's entering the cooling shaft of a large cloaked battle station.
