I am VERY happy w/ the outcome & this is now my favorite all-time custom that I have done...
BARON SOONTIR FEL - Hero of the Empire's 181st Imperial Fighter Wing
The Galactic Empire's deadliest pilot to ever strap into the cockpit of a TIE Interceptor/In...
RECIPE : RedFaction Darius head - the helmet is a modded ClonePilot (Oddball I think???) w/ the lower mask from a SW Infinities (Luke/Mara comic 2pk.) Luke helmet & goggles from a GI Joe fig w/ the rear mounted canister from my fodder bin - the recipe is pretty simple... Upper body & upper arms & leg straps from Blu-Ray edition ESB 4 pk. Snowspeeder Luke, lower body/hips from GI Joe SnakeEyes (not sure what version) Lower arms & legs from GI Joe AlleyViper, feet from a Marvel movie Thor & belt from a Marvel movie CaptainAmerica & replaced the neck & ball from another CaptainAmerica fig w/ minor sculpt to blend the two).
I know my head choice is a bit of a departure from how he is normally depicted (reference pic), but, I wanted a more "battle hardened/military" look... as for the helmet tanks... I wanted to distinguish Fel from other TIE pilots, & was thinkin' that most dogfights don't last very long - & TIE fighters don't have onboard life support systems (thus the need for a rebreather) So his oxygen mix might be better suited to a smaller, less restrictive design (allowing for a greater range of head movement) & if he needed it more tanks could be stowed inside the cockpit... just an idea... & the suit's chest controls would be more in line w/ X-Wing or Rebellion style flightsuits - in later SW comics Fel defects from the Empire & actually becomes part of the New Republic's famed Rogue Squadron...

Sh'fett Drah'jr - Mandalorian Female Elite
This custom marks a couple firsts for me... Ist custom using Slayer Design Studio parts & 1st attempt at painting eyes...
Basically, this character is the daughter of Jango Fett - not Boba's sister, but, his half-sibling from shortly prior to Episode1... pre CloneWars Mandalorian history states that Tor Vizsla created the original Death Watch & Jango Fett fought against them as part of the True Mandalorians. Vizsla's wife, Dyn'zha Drah'jr had disagreed with her husband's divisive campaign & sought to bring an end to his plans, by secretively divulging information to the True Mandalorian command. Jango had been assigned as her liason, in the course of these clandestine meetings, the two had developed a genuine bond & had soon found themselves swept up in a torrid love affair.
Upon learning of her pregnancy, Lady Drah'jr, fled to a hidden location & raised the child in the Mandalorian traditions... Sh'fett never met her father & Jango never knew of her existence. She is a formidable opponent & lives up to every expectation of the Fett legacy. Her armor colors have meaning, as many Mando's do... gray is for mourning, black for justice, blue for reliability & purple is for her father. Her helmet bears a "modified" Death Watch insignia, not to give honor to them, but it is the original Drah'jr family brand, that Tor Vizsla had borrowed from his wife's heritage to lend some "royal" credence to his cause.

This is my 2nd Mandalorian custom... MANDALORIAN HUNTMASTER
Recipe... Red Faction parts (I used Darius for the lower torso & legs) the boots R Kashyyk Trooper pieces --- upper torso & upper arms R from a G.I. Joe Heavy Duty (RoC reactive armor) --- lower arms R from Marvel movie Avengers Hawkeye --- rocket pack from an animated Boba Fett & helmet is a Legacy Boba Fett --- the remainder of parts R holsters & kneepads from same Hawkeye fig & lots of the belt pieces R from the Darius fig & packs from my fodder --- the belly or waist gear is from some unknow SW alien bounty hunter w/ black (truly black) skin??? Oh, & the added boost/thrust pod on the rocket pack is the windscreen/headlamp backer from a Maisto 1:18 die cast sportbike (Ducati or Yamaha - been a while) & the visor is from a COBRA Shock Trooper or Alley Viper

Well after about 2 1/2 evenings (approx. 12 hrs... total buildtime = approx. 16 hrs.) I finally completed the last few mods & paint apps (probably my most detailed paint job yet) I now have my #3 Mandalorian custom completed & I gotta say, I like each installment more than the last... GEAR : all the packs, holsters & modded jetpack rocket came from my fodder bins & the armorweave mesh kama fabric came from an old pair of running shoes - the pistol is from Marvel movie Avengers Hawkeye & the assault rifle was modded from parts
PAINT : I think there are 9 different colors here (flats & gloss) --- all are Testors Model Master
I think it is a beautiful looking custom & I hope you all agree & enjoy it...

Holy smokin' blaster scars!!! Front paged... no way!!! I have said this B4... it is an odd feelin' 2 B humbled & uplifted simultaneously... I truly appreciate ALL of the positive feedback & warm greetings I have received here @ the Yard... I think this site is really great & hope to make TONS of new friends here... THNX again guys :)

A Human/Dathomiri hybrid Nightbrother - still workin' on his backstory, but, I couldn't wait to share him w/ U all...
I am REALLY diggin' a lot of the figure lines that UNIMAX is offerin' up lately --- (Red Faction, Crysis2, Assassin's Creed, etc.) --- they are usually priced a couple bucks cheaper than any of the Hasbro toylines & have just as good detail in their sculpts --- the construction is similar to other 1:18 scale figures & mix well --- this fig was made using an Assassin's Creed Doctor body w/ a Red Faction Hale head & lower arms from a Marvel movie Avenger's Hawkeye... hope U all enjoy & his backstory is nearly complete.

Have been itchin' to enter a YAKfinities since I registered there... these contests showcase some of the best & most creative customs @ YAKFACE. A brief history before I debut my 1st YAKfinities submission... I had found a Blu-Ray edition Episode5 ESB 4-pk (w/ a Hoth Leia) @ my local K-Mart on clearance for $9.50 --- then I happened upon a VC Zam Wessel @ Marshall's for $5.00 --- then I found a Sandstorm Leia @ WalMart (paid retail - $9.89) So, these were the 3 basic figs that comprise this custom... w/o further adieu...
The Corellian female known as Jaylah Mandrey, was a former Special Invesigator for Corporate Sector Authority. After many years of service with the CSA, she became disillusioned with the gross corruption she witnessed within the force. She offered her considerable talents as a private security contractor for a while, before finding herself as Chief Security Officer of Gaming Industries for Cloud City. Jaylah is the law in Cloud City when it comes to it's gambling facilities... she answers only to Lobot & Baron Administrator Calrissian. She is the ultimate pitboss, overseeing the peaceful progression of daily wagering & discouraging players from cheating or otherwise disruptive behavior, along with providing security escort for many of the gamblers who frequent Cloud City's gaming tables. She is a devastatingly fast draw & deadly accurate when business turns to the elegently lethal end of the spectrum. Gaming Indusries is Cloud City's 2nd largest source of revenue & she protects that resource very well...
SIDENOTE: Jaylah has always had an uncanny ability to "sense" things before they happen, she was unaware of the ambush that the Empire had setup for the crew of the Millenium Falcon & she experienced an uncontrollable illness that coincided with Lord Vader's arrival & had departed Cloud City for medical treatment during these events.

Wow! These are great! Major cenobite vibes from the nightbrother! Are the facial tattoos decals? If they are just paint I don't know how you keep your hand so steady! Excellent work! People have already mentioned the muted tones on the mandos, but it bears repeating, awesome color schemes. And Jaylah? Well I'm a sucker for OT-era customs, so it's right up my alley!

WOW!!! I never would've thought that my simple creations would have stirred such tremendous interest... I really am beside myself. THNX 2 everyone for U'r tremendous generosity :)
As far as the facial tattoos on the Nightbrother... that is pretty much the factory look, (I only wish I could lay down paint apps that tight) the only changes I made was to accentuate the mouth lines by goin' over them w/ a 0.5 mechanical pencil lead, then drilled out the neck hole & packed it w/ Sculpey for greater neck articulation...

Love your Mandos. Your use of parts is great. I have been wanting to use the POC Dusty torso for a Mando and now I know it looks awesome. I'll get around to it someday. Love your custom weapons too, they look cool as hell.

^^^ THNX CS78 - When U get around 2 usin' that DUSTY torso, just keep in mind that if U decide to forgo the neck scarf pieces U may need to add a tiny part on top of the shoulders to hide the attachment points... just a heads up & good luck w/ it!!! ;)

This is my 2nd entry for YAKfinities #44 - Cloud City Denizens :)
Calviss Calrissian was born on the planet Socorro, located in the Outer Rim Territories, with a reputation as a smugglers haven. Situated between Coyn and Tatooine and near Duunir, Iyred, Omman, Redcap and the Nodgra system. Kirr Cyrs once said - "If there is a dark side to this galaxy, Socorro is on the hind side of it. Far beyond the notice of dominions large and faceless - where a man's word and the sweat of his brow are worth more than his scrip. This is truly a most splendid place to be."
The younger brother of Lando Calrissian, Calviss' life had taken him on a much different path. Where Lando had been fond of often referring to himself as their mother's "favorite son", Calviss had followed in their father's footsteps, inheriting the Calrissian family's "shipping" business.
Shortly after taking over his father's transport and trade routes, the Hutts saw an opportunity to pressure the young pilot into making smuggling runs for them. Seeking advice from his father, on how he should proceed with this threat, his father told him he only had four options - fight them and win, fight them and lose, accept the offer or walk away from it all. He then approached his big brother... who had just recently taken over as Baron Administrator of Bespin's Cloud City. He and Calviss came up with a solution to this matter... Lando would revoke all transport rights, licensing and suspend any and all shipments of tibanna gas to and incoming traffic from Huttspace, until a mutually beneficial agreement could be arranged, The Hutts agreed to terms that Calviss would be compensated for ALL operational costs, in addition to the standard flat rate and would also receive a 10% bonus of any contraband delivered in a safe and timely fashion. Lando had also offered his brother the highest rate of commission available for a transportation contract for tibanna shipments. When the Hutts learned of his lucrative "double dealing" from both ends, they sent a group of four enforcers to "renegotiate" their deal. Calviss had expected this move for some time and had set a trap for the thugs. He had placed neural-stun emitters in strategic locations at his private docking facility on Socorro and waited for them. When the trap had been sprung, he then took the bodies of the four hired guns and began removing their hearts and heads with his vibro-machete. He then sent a droid emissary to them on Nal Hutta, bearing a gift of four heads and six hearts (apparently two of the henchmen were species whose physiological make up consisted of two hearts). This infuriated the Hutts even more and they then hired a sabotuer to disable Calrissian's craft. He foiled this plot by means of a similar security measure he had installed on his craft, a modified CynugsSienarFleetSystems TIE/sa starbomber, featuring a central cockpit and crew quarters, flanked by twin bombbay pods (converted to cargo holds) on either side, along with the hyper-drive, and the tri-wing configuration from a Lambda class shuttle a VERY capable and efficient hybrid design... He then sent a Holonet transmission to the Hutts informing them that he and his ship were still in operation and that he would concede to resume shipments at 5% plus 1/2 costs reduced rate in conjunction with the normal flat rate, if all hostilities would cease. The Hutts found this proposal acceptable and business continued again. Calviss wasn't done with them by a long shot. After making runs for the Hutts for another month, he then packed one of their illegal weapons shipments, along with a sizable load of unrefined, highly volatile tibanna gas, with a tremendous load of thermal detonators. After leaving orbit he blew the charges remotely, utterly destroying one of the Hutts larger weapons storage facilities. He then told the crime lords that any further dealings would be paid at the original 10% plus costs and flat rate, "don't mess with my money and I won't mess with yours...". The Hutts got the message loud and clear and reluctantly agreed that their original contract was sufficient and in effect. Business as usual and the Hutts now refer to Calviss Calrissian as - "Da wanga coo sa du fierfek hotshun an du azalus pateest..." - literally translated from Huttese to Basic means - " The one who is a cursed nuisance and a dangerous ally..."

A Human/Dathomiri hybrid Nightbrother - still workin' on his backstory, but, I couldn't wait to share him w/ U all...
I am REALLY diggin' a lot of the figure lines that UNIMAX is offerin' up lately --- (Red Faction, Crysis2, Assassin's Creed, etc.) --- they are usually priced a couple bucks cheaper than any of the Hasbro toylines & have just as good detail in their sculpts --- the construction is similar to other 1:18 scale figures & mix well --- this fig was made using an Assassin's Creed Doctor body w/ a Red Faction Hale head & lower arms from a Marvel movie Avenger's Hawkeye... hope U all enjoy & his backstory is nearly complete.

Great work! I agree. I was looking at using this body for one of my own customs. I did use the main character of Assassin's Creed for a Sith Lord and another one from Crysis2 for a bounty hunter. There are some Marvel characters I've used and plan on using, as well. Most of my customs (I stay within SW) are Joe parts and such, now. Anyway, looking forward to more of your customs.

Really like your work so far, Blacksheep. Most notably the Dathomir Hybrid and Corellian lady. The Mandos are a bit too geared up for my taste, but custom wise they look just fine to me. Keep it up, man!

No reason 2 b mad here bro :) --- I have had this modded GI Joe PoC Firefly head for a while now (it was slated for a Joe fanfic photonovel project - put on indefinite hold) I saw it in the midst of buildin' this character & thought that since he hailed from Socorro - a planet that is a blacksand desert world that he would utilize some type of "enviromental headgear" as protection from the elements - so I easily see the corelation to a night ops vibe :)
I did a GOOD bit of research when compiling his bio/backstory & although I didn't find any direct mention of Lando havin' any siblings, Wookieepedia does mention Lando thinking of himself as his mother's favorite... so I went w/ it... & as far as the color choices I wanted him to flow in the same vein as Lando, but w/ much more emphasis on an overall "swashbuckling/merc/spacer" vibe...

^^^ Darth Optimus - wish I could, unfortunately when we moved about a year & 1/2 ago, some of my finished pieces were stored out in our shed until I got my workspace set up in the garage area. Well, it seems that a family of mice liked the taste of some of my customs & Marrow apparently was their favorite flavor - LOL - so I "salvaged" what usable parts were left so that they could be "repurposed" for the greater good of future customs :)

Although it isn't a SW custom, (I got some more SW stuff workin') --- I've had this guy in the WiP stages for far too long, so I finished him up last nite & I also think that this base fig (CapAm Desert Battle) would be great to build SW customs from... This is my D.I.L.L.I.G.A.F. (Do I Look Like I Give A Frak - for those who don't know) Desert Ops Firefly... FF is my all-time favorite GI Joe/Cobra character - he's the Boba Fett of the Joeverse - 1 of my favorite parts of this custom, is the scratchbuilt IED w/ detcord...

The FF figyre is awesome man! Really love him, that is a great look and the gear you built up for him make it perfect! Love the Sith and sorry to hear he could not survive the attack from hungry mice. I hope to see him resurected one day from those salvaged parts. Then back to Lando's brother, man that is a killer character design. Love the over all look and the bold color choices. A very refreshing change of pace, very well done!

A few folks on some other sites have asked about the weapon in the back holster - so here is a kwik pic of it - I know a mag fed grenade launcher is a bit ridiculous - but I HATED that FF's didn't have a trigger guard & I just kept addin' to it...

4th & finally, is my 91st Recon TSC - Tactical Scout Clones are attached to Commander Neyo's unit & usually operate deep inside enemy held territories, in solo or 2 man teams --- I felt that the AdvancedReconFighter (ARFtrooper) helmet seemed suitable, given the emphasis on the recon aspect of their missions... I have nailed down a paint scheme for this 1 & have decided to go w/ a tan undersuit - white dingy armor w/ minimal red markings (along w/ a 91st emblem - Neyo's) & dark brown leather gear... Also take notice of the added parts just above the foot - they add a bit more height & were transplanted from the bootie tops from the McQuarrie Obi-Wan...

Not a Cade Skywalker coat - it's from a GeneratorX villain (Van Kleiss ?) I got on clearance & the arms are from a Hoth Han w/ the forearm armor grafted from a Joe SnakeEyes "Tornado Kick" (same as the lower legs) - the torso & shoulder armor are from a TFU SithStaker - boots I really couldn't say & the head is Daniel Craig from GoldenCompass
Cuttin' the jacket out to fit around the SithStalker shoulder part (was left on the torso) was a beeeotch!!!

I actually own 3 Dremel rotary tools, a plug-in 2 speed, a rechargable variable speed & a micro that runs on 4 rechargable AA batteries... this just required some good ol' fashioned, primitive, precision w/ my X-acto :) --- It really didn't take too long... I placed the coat on the torso & then carefully carved the shape, using the shoulder armor as a "guide fence" --- I just really took my time, b/c I only had one shot & it had to line up perfectly --- gluing it in place was a bit of a challenge as well... OH! & I had to trim down where the lapels meet the armor for a snugger fit (it was warping & not lying as flat as I wanted...
"I'm Mighty Tighty Whitey & I'm smugglin' plums..." --- obscure Bloodhound Gang reference - LOL

I've been itchin' to do a self custom ever since I got this SlayerDesignStudio custom cast head sculpt. It is the best representation of me that I have come across yet... (I usually shave ny head & have a full beard). So, I had a bit of a "customizin' marathon" last nite & this is what I concocted for my MANDALORIAN MINI ME --- LMK what U guys think...

I used CW Cad Bane lower arms - hollowed out & then grafted onto AT-RT driver lower arms - cut the Cad Bane "elbow ring" away - trimed the tubes to equal lenghts - then drilled a shallow hole in the GI Joe PoC Firefly upper arms (elbow armor) - then drilled out the micro missiles & added some .50cal rounds from a GI Joe ammo belt >:D - The lower legs are GI Joe Ren Firefly w/ some Alien Racer armored greaves >:D

The lower legs R a bit of "franken fig fabrication" GI Joe Renegades Firefly on top of an Alien Racers greaves (I've had that fig forever & can't remember specifically... it was green skinned w/ chromed eyes...) & then finished off w/ feet from GI Joe Roc HeavyDuty - I wear a size 12 Wide - lol

This is my very 1st Jedi custom... the base fig is a WW2 CaptainAmerica w/ lower legs from a Thor, bracers & shoulder armor from an IronMan Mark 2, hands from GI Joe Renegades SnakeEyes & the head is from a GI Joe RoC Recondo w/ mask from a Spawn NitroRiders Afterburn & hair from a MU WinterSoldier - the soft goods are from VC AotC SenateGuard & BlueRay Edition 4pk Anakin Episode 2 - belt is from McQuarrie Obi-Wan w/ bits added from fodder... I did just a minimal amout of paint work (the tan on the Obi-Wan sash & the gloss blue highlights)

Thnx JMerc - the mask came from a Spawn NitroRiders fig (Afterburn) - I just opened the eye slits a tad... Glad U like the colors - navy blue is probably my favorite color & it isn't a normal Jedi color...

Man guys the TOR era Jedi really was kind of a LBC (lazy boy custom)... but, it came 2gether really nicely & I'm glad U all dig him... & I thought it'd B a good idea to show a couple pics of m'self for reference on the Mandalorian Mini-Me (go back to pg.7)... my hair has grown in (need to shave it again) & I had just trimmed my beard (yes that is the trimmed version - lol) in anticipation for our hot Missouri summers...
My wife thought it would be funny to take a couple pics of me moments after wakin' up...
I guess my nose is a little crooked & my left eye is a bit droopy from years of boxing... huh?
I suppose I don't really look bad for a guy about to turn 42...

I was offerin' my Wooof Head & hands to Darth Optimus - but I thought they looked good on this WiP body... Sorry Darth Optimus - I think they just found a new home... best part of this custom is the Legacy BH upper torso modded onto the GiJoe lower torso - tricky...
I'll figure out a bio for this Nikto-based BH & then HOPEFULLY I can get the abundance of WiPs I have started in the paint process this weekend & have some finished stuff to show ya guys!

I was able to get another WiP painted up this weekend... here is my 91st Recon Tactical Scout Clone - Advanced Recon Force Sniper... I didn't add the Neyo insignia (I'm waitin' to get a better printer so I can create my own waterslide decals) & I swapped out the lower arms from my previous WiP pics - also swapped the backpack for a "softsided" part - added a shoulder pauldron & some ammo packs to the belly armor (just didn't like the strange compartment on the concept Fett)... I also changed up the entire belt/harness/pack configuration - Good Lord white is such a pain to paint over a flat black base coat - Hope y'all dig him...

Yet another WiP to add to the GROWIN' pile... my TOR era Mandalorian... I went w/ a less tech heavy look - light body armor... NO rocketpack... padded greaves & just simple forearm bracers... I also like that some Mandos are depicted w/o the traditional T-visor in some instances durin' this era... LMK what'cha think & I could use some color suggestions - my wife thinks multi-greens w/ my usual tan & brown treatments... I haven't done a lot of greens, but, I'm also considerin' some shades of yellow - maybe both? Also - the GI Joe PoC Dusty upper torso fits the Kashyyyk trooper lower torso, once ya crack the lower & replace the shorter SW peg w/ a longer JOE part & then it's REALLY loose between the 2 - so ya gots to pack some epoxy up N2 the upper torso to fill the void...

This TOR Mando is gonna be sick! I especially like the kitbashed blaster...almost all of my Mandos have custom weaponry too. I think it adds to the individuality of the character.

I think this has become my favorite Mando of the ones you've done recently (and he's not even finished yet)!
I love the helmet variation and the Cap'n America boots add nicely to this guy's infantry look; I recently used the same boot over a pair of Count Dooku SA legs and they really do like nice.
I support the use of a bit of yellow on this guy, whether it's stripes or just a patch of shoulder armor, but the color isn't one that used often and the tans/greens could benefit from a splash of color...

Ok, so I decided to go w/ just 1 color along w/ the muted earthtones - green was just very garish to me... I really like this subdued school bus yellow... This guy actually turned out to be more heavily armored than I had originally thought... I also wanted to do some outdoor pics - it was such a nice MANDO morning...

Oh my, I LOVE this guy! You can see the potential in the WIP pic. That is an excellent use of parts, very inventive and a look you don't see all the time. Love the belts packs and small bits that completes your design. You paint selection and aps are very nice and the touch of dull yellow is a perfect compliment to the brown, tan and green. Top shelf work man.

I am truly humbled by all the great comments on this Old Republic Mandalorian --- I think it has replaced my Baron Soontir Fel as my newest favorite & I will be sad to see it find a new home... when & if it sells... but, my wife says I gotta @ least get a return on some of my creations - even if it just keeps more fodder comin' in... she is supportive of my hobby, mainly b/c she knows that I get grumpy when I don't have a physical / athletic or creative outlet - & since my recent health issues prevent me from persuin' my sports interests - I would B lost w/o my customizin' therapy LOL - so in a way all of U guys who enjoy my 1:18 scale endeavors have become my impromptu behavioral therapists (NOT the rapists - therapists) Again, I thank you all for the praise... U'r fig friend Jeff...

Qoz - The Outlaw Technician
Qoz is an outlaw tech, whose skills are highly sought after by bounty hunters, smugglers, fugitives and other unsavory types. He is proficient in weapons upgrades, multiple ID transponders, shielded smuggling compartments, boosted hyperdrives/sublight engines, navicomp reprogramming, contraband Holonet transceivers, long/short range sensor arrays, deflector shields, primary threat tactical analysis grids and life support systems... but, his claim to fame is being able to integrate all of these systems into a "coupled" droid brain to maximize the effective operation of any vessel.
He keeps all of his designs under the strictest security protocols, yet this much is known about his integrated "INTELLI-CRAFT" upgrade, Qoz has slave circuited an R7 astromech droid brain to a CZ model secretary droid brain. In order to utilize the navigational/diagnostic R7 capabilities in conjunction w/ the CZ's organizational/multitask functions, virtually making a ship one big droid. Only the most wealthy of his clients can afford such an upgrade.
Qoz's closest companion is FXX-R, a one-of-a-kind droid crafted by Qoz himself. Being a halfbreed, the resulting offspring of a Toydarian father & an Ithorian mother ( and an albino on top of that ), Qoz doesn't feel comfortable associating w/ other sentient beings. The extent of his contact w/ others is limited to quick exchanges for services rendered. His lab/shop/garage has never been visited by anyone else and pick-up/drop-off locations are of his choosing. When the credits have been deposited into his account, all record of routes & destinations are thoroughly exponged from the vehicle flight log & then the product is delivered personally.

This guy cleaned out the foder bin LOL! No really he is a cool looking dude and the droid is very clever/original. Enjoyed the story I had to get on wikipedia to understand all the technical bits. I think I'm going to go take the TV and toaster apart now and build something 0/

Very nice, very nice. I always enjoy an original character moreso than a redo of an existing character (not hatin' on those, just sayin'), so needless to say I like these a lot. The alien is a neat mash-up. I have a couple of Wattos & never woulda thought to do somethin' like this. The droid is all kindsa' neat. I always love a kitbashed droid. To top it off, the background is truly fantastic as well.

R2 with treads: very original, looks really good (not too sure about the middle leg though....). I agree: pick a colour scheme you like, then dirty him up real good :D.

Another relic I've pulled from my archives... I was just startin' to experiment w/ flat paints & mixin' parts from different toylines around the time I did this... SCORPION 2099 -
Kind of my post-apocalyptic take on the SpiderMan villian. Had seen some decent Scorpion customs & had wanted to try my hand @ 1... not wantin' 2 do a traditional or updated version... I went w/ sumthin' in my own vein of creative thought.
This character is the great-grandson of the original Scorpion (Mac Gargan)... Marcus Gargan goes by the name DEATH STALKER - mercenary, bounty hunter, enforcer & acquirer of sensitive items... services rendered to the highest bidder.
It was made from an IronMan movie Mark III body - Chestplate (targeting scanners) & tail from a Transformers movie Skorponok - head is a StarWars Infinities comic 2-pk. Vader (unhelmeted & lower neck cowl left on) w/ modded GI Joe gasmask & muzzle from Kashyyyk Trooper helmet - along w/ some greeblies added here & there...

I had talked w/ Tamer about a color scheme & he told me he was pretty much gonna leave it up to me... originally was goin' to be a JungleOps camo... (too busy) - then I had laid down some 501st blue (didn't go well) - then I kept seein' my AT-TE gunner on my shelf & decided to go w/ similar color choices... I seriously debated a traditional look...

Wow man, you are on a roll! Love the Scorpion, nice work. The At-AT Gunner is awesome! I love the gear you built up for him and the parts chosen make for a killer design. The colors are not bad but I think the traditional color scheme would look even better. I think the musterd yellow is what is throwing it off, atleast for me. What if you covered those stripes in red?

After takin' in all of the factors... I am goin' to go over all the gold (it is actually a factory Testors Model Master color called Sandgelb - a weird metallic mustard) areas in red, it is the right call - I really gotta curb my urges to think outside of the box - espescially when doin' projects for customers... :D - Maybe I was just influenced by my MIZZOU Tiger pride (black & gold baby!!!) - lol --- It's not a big deal & Tamer is gracious enuf to allow me the extra time to make it perfect for him... :D

Go for it. No hurry whatsoever. Now that I think on it, I would probably prefer the more traditional AT-AT Driver Color Scheme. Everytime I see black on a helmet it reminds me of the Tie Pilot and I shy away from that for the most part. Its not that I don't like different color schemes, but definitely get kinda nostalgic for the regular colors I am used to on AT-AT Drivers. I really, really like the build on this though. All the ammo pouches, greeblies, etc. and that heavy firepower I think look fantastic.

That gunner is fraking sick mate!!! I love the color scheme, its like a evolution of the AT-TE gunner, but I think the other guys are right about turning over to the traditional colors, Because after all he is a stormtrooper and not a clone. I know it sounds boring, but his pouches should probably be white as well.

Nonononono...this AT-AT Gunner looks fantastic AS IS. I love the non-traditional paint scheme and the build itself is SICK. I actually have a very similar build languishing in WIP hell for the last 6 months, glad to see one come to fruition. I'll have to alter the configuration, unless you don't mind a similar build floating around, albiet with a much less-awesome paint job. Like a generic version of yours, LOL.

Very cool AT-AT Driver. Reminds me of Hemble's versions, of which Tamer has one as well, iirc ;). I'm a bit torn between this very original colour scheme and the traditional grey/white. But you're both big boys, you can figure it our between the two of you ;D

Very cool latest addition. I really love this type of verse were its all about kill or be killed. Kind of reminds me of Death Race, where the vehicles are armed up to the max, and its all about DESTROY.

Very nice paint job on this one! The only thing I can say is that the hair looks a bit detached from her head, or maybe the head is just a bit too small? Overall I think you did a killer job and I always love the ladies.

This is a Christmas gift for my nephew... I still need to finish the eyes, other than that & a pair of pistols, he's pretty much done... the lower part of the robe is all scratchbuilt from first aid fabric tape & the only Jawa part used was the head :D

Many people had been the Red Hood but this version is of Jason Todd the second Robin who died and returned and looking for revenger on Batman and the Joker...Looks really good whats the shoulders from?

Yeah - I don't even think that wave has hit the US yet - I got it from a friend of mine in England (it is ALMOST sacreligious, I know b/c it was minty fresh on an unpunched card) --- You're the only one who has noticed that I had used the Starkiller parts :) They work too perfectly... now to open my unpunched Malgus I got from another friend in Australia... BWUHAHAHAH!!!

THNX y'all, good to be back :) - @nickeltcd - it is the SAGA Firespeeder pilot head w/ a small add to the "mouth"... also the Firespeeder torso grafted onto GIJoe hips & GIJoe arms.
