I totally agree. He is better than a Hasbro Presentation at a con to see what new stuff there is. He is also selling the new TCW Echo from the Defense of Kamino slight disagreement pack. I will try to get a link for that up too, feel free to beat me if you want though Yarders.

(He must be making a killing... $7.99 a piece, with 291 sold for only THIS figure, not to mention shipping costs, comes out to $2325.09. Man, I wish I lived in Asia so I could "borrow" figures from Hasbro and reap a major reward, lmao... ;D)

Personally I think Tunghori has changed the buying practices of folks all over the world. I think it is justice that he or she may singlehandedly run Hasbro out of business as he or she can actually provide the Star Wars Product at a reasonable price. If I were a loose collector I don't think I would buy figures from anyone other than him.
As for how he gets so many that is anyone's guess. It would sure be a scoop to get an interiew with that dude.

Looks like it might be a ball-hip in there and the left wrist looks like it might have the TCW-style wrist articulation. That would be GREAT if this is the case! Just looked at the Commando listing and YES! You can CLEARLY see a ball-hip joint! Those guys might become the basis for the troopers in my Fixer-Verse, as it steadily mutates away from Star Wars...

Tunghori has Bastila Shan in stock now. He has almost sold two hundred of these already and at $11 dollars a pop it might be worth the wait if your pegs are clogged. Still, it looks like a better hair day for her than we saw at SDCC.

OMG, going off topic a bit, but is THAT supposed to be ms. Shan? Attire looks fine, but that face! That hiar! That ginormous lightsaber! I know she wielded a double-blade, but that thing is so out of scale, it's rediculous.
Anyway, I see tunghori also has the TVC Wicket. Still need him, I'll run an inventory check on my fodder as well :D

I really think if it *were* ill-gotten, Hasbro would have put a stop to it. I'm convinced they are rejects that Hasbro is finding outlets for so that they still make their $$ on "trash."

well, there is that possibility although most anything i have gotten from him didnt look like rejects to me and I do have a keen eye for little things. Could be a back door shenanagan of some sort.

When looking for figures I've come across many more Far Eastern sellers: Hong Kong, Singapore, they're everywhere! And since I hardly collect anymore, but simply er.... hoard figures for fodder, I'm not picky about what I get. I just spotted a trio of ROC Vipers, starting at $9 or so, less than a couple of hours to go and zero bids! Sure, they come without any accessories and probably have a loose limb or two, but for me as customizer from Europe (i.e. scarcity of figures which are overpriced) deals like that are perfect.
Besides tunghori (SW Army Store), I can also recommend ws_toys, viperskingdom, happyeverydaysales and sinodolls. I even bought two little Lego construction workers for $3 for my girls. Sure, each had a differently coloured left leg, but my girls don't care about that. Neither do I :) And you'll most likely only find incomplete figures, but again, these sellers are great for us customizers.

I've bought from all of them but happyeverydaydeals and come out quite well. And it isn't a problem with just Europe - I can't find crap here without paying hugely inflated prices most of the time.

Well, just won 5 Joe figures from sinodolls (25th. Baroness (the one Clonehead uses for his Mando, which is one awesome female figure), Resolute Baroness and a trio of ROC Viper, ROC Destro and ROC Heavy Duty (plain outfit, yay!)) for $33 shipped to my doorstep. That's $6.60 each. They're on my way :)

He is not the only one to carry her and the other femando. No weapons, rocket pack, or helmet. That's the catch. I had bought a couple to do custom femandos myself but no longer need em as now any female can be a mando, in my eyes. I bet my large mando bucket would fit on that head.
His competitor, viperskingdom has all of the new tru delta squad rc figures for a good price, sans their guns or backpacks.

I am envisioning Tunghori getting his hands on the new Black Series Figures too. I put an ebay widget on the front page left column where you can see some of his auctions with a link to get to all of his stuff (80 some figures right now). It seems he is still about the cheapest on the bay for the newer loose figures.

I keep waiting to see the day you use some JOE Parts to make an over the top SW Custom. He has some SW Stuff. I noticed some decent prices on some RCs and some other things.

Not a problem fellas. Mind you, I hardly collect figures for collecting purposes. I mostly see them as fodder and therefore I am not too picky about figures being incomplete, or of inferior quality. I say that last bit, because of a batch of ROC Vipers (great legs, great torsos), of which two figures' neck pegs simply broke off when I removed the heads... ;)

Worth mentioning Tunghori is selling new WalMart black series Force Awakens figures that I honestly didn't even know were out yet. Winter gear Han and a Leia Organa. I ordered the Leia on the 5th and it's already arrived, not sure what is happening but 10 days from Macau is completely unheard of for me.

I've been waiting for this: tunghori listed TVC Wave 2 yesterday!
While VC124 Han Solo has been online for some weeks now, he finally added most of the wave. When I discovered his new lisings, only 4 units of the Hovertank Driver were left. And today I was lucky enough to find them to take some screenshots, BUT the Range Trooper sold out literally within seconds! I got the impression that only one single unit was listed because when I refreshed the page, the Range Trooper showed up as "last item" and before I could even click on the auction it was already gone...insanity.
But I'm surprised that he sells both of them for a relatively accurate price compared to his other new listings. $13.99 for Enfys Nest and $14.99 for the Range Trooper is actually far less than I expected. I expected him to list them for either $19.99 or even $24.99...but no doom-mongering here.

The Range Trooper and Enfys Nest are absolutely beautiful & high quality figures and I can really recommend them to you! Mysteriously I haven't found a stamp on the Range Trooper, yet. Nest has got one on the inner side of her right upper leg. Do you know if the Range Trooper has got one?
I paid $14.99 for the Range Trooper, $13.99 for Enfys Nest and $6 shipping. So almost 35 / 31,25€ bucks for 2 TVC 3.75" figures is quite expensive. Here in Germany I would pay 39,98€ / $44.77 for them. What do you think? Is it worth it? I think if you live in the U.S. and they are available at big box stores it's definitely not!

Good ole tunghori listed the ERG as TBS version, but in the pictures you can see the TVC version.
First, I thought he was just using old pictures and didn't take new ones, but here comes the surprise:
After carefully comparing both ERGs with the Black Series version, I can now confirm that tunghori is actually selling the original (VC105) Emperor's Royal Guard of The Vintage Collection and not The Black Series repack! So far he sold about 150 units within 2 weeks for the original retail price of $9.99 each. The Black Series ERG sold for $12.99 in stores.
To me this is a clear indication that we'll see the Emperor's Royal Guard retun into The Vintage Collection in 2019!

Not careful enough...
I have to apologize and to correct my statement from yesterday:
I checked pictures on jedibusiness too since I didn’t find any reference for comparison on YouTube or elsewhere. I don’t own a TVC Royal Guard myself so I could just compare tunghori‘s version to my black series ERG which I got new.
Here’s my mistake:
The TVC version has got a slightly different face, the same fabric around the hips as the robe and a 5-digit number scratched into his belt on the back.
Tunghori‘s Version does not have these three properties. So the figure itself from tunghori is the Black Series version, without the Black print on his right upper leg. Only the robe is made of the fabric of the TVC version. The rest of the accessories can’t be assigned to any line for sure.
I still suppose this might be the version, Hasbro will bring back into the vintage collection. It looks like the first release except for the head and skirt.
I am very sorry for the mess and hope I didn’t cause any financial loss.

I actually wanted to post this two weeks ago already, when tunghori listed TVC Wave 4 (20) for the first time. I’ve been hoping that he would adjust/reduce the prices a little bit, but he hasn’t done so. He probably never will, but by now my limit is reached - he has become too expensive asking prices above the MRSP of new figures at retail.
He relisted the figures several times - if you were looking for these figures loose, here is your chance:
He also listed the Leia (Boushh), but it’s the TBS version, NOT TVC. He might list her later on.

Oh, yes I saw that! I'm surprised he still got VC54 in stock! And $16.99 is still reasonable compared to the prices on the secondary market. By the way some loose figures are sold for higher prices in the USA than here in Germany! Crazy times...

So after the latest TVC figures sold right through, tunghori put his ebay store on a break last week. I asked him if he was going to sell the four re-issues with photo-real technology and he confirmed.
His store will be online on May 5, 2019 again. Maybe he's on vacation or he is back in HongKong to buy new stock...serious business right there with all the figures he sells...

When I asked tunghori about the online/etailer Exclusive Wave of TVC repacks with photo-real technology, he already confirmed that he was going to get them. So my assumption seems to be correct: he got new figures during his 10 day absence on ebay.
Now, he got the first four updates figures of the Vintage Collection and I’m glad I checked ebay today once more!
These are selling like homemade bread - also because JTA posted that he had TARGET exclusive Han Solo (Stormtrooper Disguise), which is long gone now even for $22.99. But most likely tunghori is prepared to make another $10k and will restock, soon!
The last Han (Hoth Outfit) sold just when I clicked on the offer - gone!

Any time, Tamer! Now, tunghori listed the first wave of Retro Collection figures for $9.99 each and even Tarkin for $14.99.
Now they’re are a shared T&t Exclusive I guess.
TARGET shouldn’t be too happy about that and I hope tunghori will lower the prices. For 10 bucks each you can just get them on card if you live in the U.S. But if you want to army-build that Stormtrooper tunghori might be helpful.

By now I’m a little nervous. My last order from tunghori hasn’t arrived, yet. Usually it takes about 16 days for the tiny packages to get here. Well, five weeks have passed now - according to ebay the order should’ve arrived here by May 22.
I had almost contacted tunghori for support. But since there is no tracking, he probably cannot help me anyway.
This would be the first time of probably 40 orders from him that one might got lost on delivery...I don’t hope so. I was really looking forward to those TVC Lando Skiff Guard and Leia (Boushh) figures...
In the meantime I placed my next order, which was two weeks ago.
And today I found a notification from the mailman in my mailbox. There is a package from HongKong for me to pick up at the post office tomorrow. So which figures will it contain? I’m most curious.
I missed the guy by 6 minutes or so...otherwise I would already know.
I’ll let you know tomorrow! I hope it’s the order from April. It would be terrible if it got lost somewhere.
Meanwhile tunghori listed another General Grievous (ROTS Sneak Preview). Not the Legacy or even a new version, BUT Grievous is a sought after figure anyway. Plus he comes with two lightsabers and a blaster - for just $7.99.
First, he was listed for $8.99. a day later tunghori relisted him for a buck less - thanks!

Now, I agree with everyone who assumes that tunghori mostly sells facotory rejects! I've heard stories! About figures coming with two right thighs or two left hands...or even with reverse belts! I wanted to do a full review on mysterious tunghori anyway. It has never hit me that bad as it did today. I had some issues with single figures, but not with four out of seven!
And I think he did this on purpose. I asked him for a discount on shipping because I overpaid Saelt Marae and Klaatu by $9. That was before he reduced them to $13.99 each. Therefore I asked him for a $7 discount on shipping. He makes extra cash (big time!) on shipping anyways. So he gave me a discount of $4.
When you convert the shipping costs of HK Dollars into USD you'll see how much less he actually pays for shipping:
Shipping to Germany for this package was 57 HKD, that equals $7.84 - I was supposed to pay $11. And he does that with every single one of his hundreds and thousands of customers. He got almost 70,000 ratings so far! What a rip off.
So this time I'm not amused. Frankly I'm p%#§"/! By now he claims prices that even exceed the MRSP!! I wouldn't buy from him if these figures were available here in Germany. How much I dislike this exclusive policy from Hasbro. Distribution and case assortments are still a disaster in most regions accross the globe - even the U.S.! I think I'm gonna write Hasbro my latest local find with TVC Wave 1 still rotting on pegs with those awful ST characters. This post might qualify for my "Restoring Star Wars action figures" thread. And please, take everything you just read (if you even got here) with a grain of salt. ;)

Yeah, sometimes you don't win with the ole Tunghori. Needless to say these figures didn't look this bad in his sale images correct? You could open an eBay claim.

So I sent those pics to tunghori and he's going to send me the following parts as replacements:
- Leia's head
- Han Solo: complete figure
- missing part of Vader's mask
- body of stormtrooper Han (whatever this means? If he send me the figure without head and helmet, I could make a custom Stormtrooper with a resin cast helmet and another headsculpt - that's be neat)
I think that's a good solution. I also asked him about the order from back in April. He immediately agreed that it probably got lost on delivery - that's 5 figures worth $48 plus $9 shipping just gone. That never happened before. Very sad - I hope he can stil replace these figures...

I’m glad to hear that Tamer! I keep watching tunghori on a daily basis, indeed. At the moment I visit his store hourly because he listed the TVC VC140 Stormtrooper! I was so looking forward to this and was lucky enough to at least see the auction - and the price! It’s $15.99. The listing ended right in the second I hit the icon to buy it - it seems to sell out in seconds also because JTA was already alerted.
Also Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian and Phasma of this Wave are still available. Also the Scarif Trooper of the previous wave. They keep going in and out of stock, too. Let’s hope tunghori got enough units of all of them - especially of the Stormtrooper.
Crazy times have come - in a good way. This iconic army-builder brought back the hype. It’s real again. Some people have already gotten 50 or more of them - spent more money on solid cases than they did on their Sail Barge!! I would be happy to even get one...

As far as I can estimate, tunghori must have relisted VC140 about 5 or 6 times so far - and they do sell within seconds. I don’t know if people buy all 19 of each listing or what. Anyway I asked tunghori if he still got some units left. I’m waiting for his reply. So far he sold about 100 units for $15.99 each - nice salary for just one type of supposed factory rejects.
He also offers Han Solo in Stormtrooper disguise for 2 bucks less. It’s $16.99, now.

So my last order from the beginning of June arrived. It just took 9 days to be delivered this time. Unfortunately tunghori forgot to add the VC148 Imperial Tank Driver Commander to this order. I was looking forward to this figure, but I was most excited to have the Lando from SOLO in hand.

Not only did tunghori forget to add VC148, but this Yak Face came with reverese feet! tunghori's reply on this made me laugh: He said I just had to rotate the feet into the right posiition. He's probably sick of sending me replacements, but I'm not lucky at the moment with the quality he sends me. Plus I didn't mess up completing the order. He then asked if he could just add the missing figure to my next order. A smart way to generate new sales. But I'm not happy with how he keeps raising prices...

What do you think is up with this one? I compared his pics with those of rebelscum's photo archive and I think the torso and legs may have been rejected (stolen from the factory?) before the paint apps were applied...what are your ideas? Didn't collectors all scream for a clean R2 on that STAR WARS cardback?

Yeah, the first time he/she listed this Clone Trooper it was only 1 single unit. This screenshot is from yesterday night and when I found it, he only had 8 units left. I hope he will re-list it a few times more. I'm also confident now that this is the TARGET exclusive Trooper from Revenge of the Sith.
I suppose tunghori found a box of those somehwere in his warehouse, which he had forgotten about. I doubt that we'll see another re-relase of this (older) mold from Hasbro in the future. They go for their new, taller Clone Trooper design although I like the old ROTS #41 Clone Trooper more...

Recently, I avoid buying from tunghori more and more. He keeps rasing prices to a point where it's just not fun anymore...VC152 Vedain is just one example:

Sure, BT-1 is a rare figure and sought after, but I think mighty tung pays about 50 cents for every figure he gets and those prices are scalping by now...he also makes good extra money on shipping if you ever calculated what he actually paid for shipping compared to what you paid him.
I slowly wonder why JTA, other forums and even myself still make such a promotion for him. If I lived in the U.S. and wasn't dependant on tunghori to get TVC figures here in Germany, I woudn't buy from him anymore. Plus all the bad luck of my last three orders...

We were talking about the Mandalorian and which era we would pick if we were the directors. I'd take the era of Knights of the Old Republic and he came up with Republic Commando!

Okay, this is a slightly off topic, but I followed an add to AliExpress, today. There I found these Clone Troopers here. Well, tunghori sells the TARGET exclusive Clone Trooper at the moment and this seller here (Toyspark) has four different versions for sale.
However when I took a closer look at the pictures, I recognized the helmet were a little off. What do you think? Could those buckets be knock-offs? I think they're a little too wide. The rest of the bodies looks good, though. But for almost $9 each, I don't want to take the risk to receive just a bootleg.
For 4 bucks? I'd take them immediately. What do you think about this?

Pretty good if they are bootleegs, which I kinda think they are. Wouldn't know till you had em in hand and I think your price margin is spot on. I don't know anything about this AliExpress, its not eBay? Might want to start a new thread on it and then we might want to warn folks about it if its not on the up and up.

AliExpress is the World's largest online marketplace (even bigger than Amazon, would you believe it?!). It's pretty much the Chinese Amazon. Lots of bootlegs there and non-authentic crap.
You can find some useful stuff on there, a friend of mine buys all sorts of stuff there and is happy.
But I hardly found anything good there. Never bought something from AliExpress, but if you want I can move this to a seperate topic.

AliExpress is quite popular here in Europe. It's a Chinese based internet company and you can get nearly every imaginable product for insanely low prices. But yeah, there is a kind of shadiness to it all. For instance, if you buy a pair of in-ear headphones for $2, you'll get the quality that goes with that. So, don't be surprised if you're phones don't work anymore after two weeks :D But it's great they sell toys and figures as well. Probably KO's or factory rejects, but great for customizing.
Wish is another popular Chinese internet store. Same goes for them as well.
Anyway, Tunghori and others mostly sell 3 3/4" figures, but does anyone know of similar eBay stores that sell 6" figures?

When I saw the VC113 Republic Trooper right at the top yesterday, I couldn't believe it. A couple years ago he offered it for $24.99. It was the last unit yesterday, but he listed 9 more this morning and they don't seem to sell right away this time around. Got one of those for 2,23€ last Saturday so I'm a happy camper with two of those now.
Update: 5 units of VC113 sold within 2 hours...200 bucks for tunghori. Easy money. Thanks!

There are currently no figures in his store for more than a week so far.
I placed my last order on January 1, tunghori listed new figures on January 3, but shortly after he removed all of his listings. Let's hope this is only temporary because he's on vacation or doing a stocktaking. In worst case Hasbro finally made eBay to put his store down. But you can still visit it.

The prints of the visors are missing, they even passed Quality Control like this back in 2007! So I ordered one of the OOM-9 Commander Droid to add the visors with a couple decals. Lot of great figures... I wish Hasbro would do something like this guy and just offer the scraps or small runs: "loose" aka bagged in little Kenner white boxes. Heck they could even offer parts and accessories' this way. Imagine a box of stormtrooper or clone helmets/guns and one backpack (or w/e).
But yeah that TCW AQUA DROID is amazing both the design and the articulation. I have 3(?) and would easily want a few more... Especially a TBS version 😍

tunghori listed them around 12:45 pm EST for the first time. That was shortly before the conversation with FialaFernbrugg on Skype. So we talked for two hours and I didn't get to share this earlier. I'm glad he already relisted them. So no worries. The only thing that bugs me is that JTA posted before me now. jk
But what really surprises me is that tunghori had them already, but hadn't started to sell them before. This is the first time that he/she added new figures after a direct request from me.

Thank you, Tamer! tunghori certainly had some serious dollars incoming! And he sent the figures out on Monday. Well, they arrived today in less than a week! There was one comment on JTA if they were sent out at all. Well, the answer is YES! Faster than ever before. I think the record was 5 days if I recall correctly. Anyway - I can’t wait to get back home and take a closer look at them. My dad was so kind and opened them for me. I received the proto Vader with yellow torso - 50/50 chance to get the red one - had no choice.

For the record: The Child is ca. 41 cm tall according to Wookieepedia. So it is 3.4 cm in 1/12 scale and 2.2 cm in 1/18 scale. Does anyone know how tall the Black Series one is?

Nice! These are great additions indeed. I've never had any problems ordering from tunghori - though I only do so rarely. K-2SO and Wolffe showed up from Hasbro Pulse this week in my neck of the woods. The power droid is still listed for a later shipping. Have fun with the new figures.

JDeck: Thanks for making us aware! I was so busy over the past months, I couldn't share anything on here. I was surprised when tunghori sent me a message on ebay to ask if I had already learned about his new website. I said yes, but the higher prices are one reason to not buy from him anymore. It really doesn't pay off for me anymore. It's cheaper to buy the figures new & carded from StarActionFigures in the UK. Talked to a friend about that just yesterday and we're confident that these were probably the last orders from legendary tunghori.
TVC VC180 Moff Gideon doesn't even come with the Dark Saber if you order from tunghori. But therefore it's only $9.99. So I decided to give him a Sword from the G.I. Joe Snake Eyes, one of the best articulated 3.75" figures to date in my opinion.

I know the sword isn't accurate, but it works for me. In the pictures on the left hand side is a custom Moff Gideon figure, which I found on ebay for just 12€ shipped! This is solely based on a TIE Fighter Pilot! The customizer sanded down its hair and repainted the head sculpt. He uses a wooden skewer for the Dark Saber. I think this idea is as simple as brilliant and it looks fantastic from the distance.

Ive gotten a couple of orders from the new site. I think it's $13 flat shipping, so I keep some army buulders in my cart, then when something new comes in I'll add it and check out. Typically I'll preorder one of every new figure from Amazon or wherever, and If I want extras I'll get from TungHori. Like the new Boba Fett, I got him from TungHori a few months early. That wave was suppided to release may but came out, February or early March. It's been good for me, just depends. The AT-ST drivers are worth it, if you army build. But like I said with shipping, it's best to buy in bulk, at least five figures to make it worth it.

I am waiting on the last order I placed from him. HTF and army builder figures are the name of the game.
I wish the list would change up more often. He just runs em till they run out, I guess, and continues to make them available 20 at a time, when it’s convenient, until the room with the six foot tall pile of that figure empties out.

Tamer: Thanks for sharing this. I hope TungHori appreciates the extra attention we give him/her. This person stays a myth and a legend.
I also recognized that TungHori lowers prices when figures don't sell, so sometimes it's worth to wait.
It's poker. For instance I waited too long for the AT-ST Raider at BestBuy. Now it's gone. I also refused to pay $24.99 at TungHori just for the pack-in figure.
JDeck: That's a smart strategy. I also kept my planned order in the basket and asked TungHori if and when the missing figures were restocked. TungHori is very reliable when it comes to communication, quick shipping and replacing missing and/or error parts. Yeah, that makes sense to me. Even though TungHori claims premium prices for some hard-to-find figures, you can get them early sometimes. To see it in relation, prices on ebay have gone up and crazy over the past years so I can understand that TungHori wants part of the pie and adjusted the prices.
I've spent quite a few bucks since the new website is up. Shared the orders with a friend so we only paid half the shipping. And as I said above, it's just cheaper to get the latest TVC figures carded from the UK. TungHori still has some great deals on older figures e.g. TLC and TCW figures.
Clonehead: I agree with you and Tamer. I also buy more figures to make it worth the effort. I'm going to resell some doubles and army-builders to get some of the extra bucks back. TungHori is indeed very reliable when it comes to error samples or missing parts. I even received an extra Han Solo in Stormtrooper disguise for free because I claimed floppy paint apps on his torso. BUT he/she would only send the extra parts with my new orders - never separately, but that's been fine with me. I hope he can replace the missing trooper helmet, too. I suppose it was one of the 501st ARC Troopers for $30 each?
And I've also noticed that TungHori usually stocks and restocks new figures on Sundays.

Well, that CW07 Clone Commander Cody (Phase II) I shared with the screenshot in my last post was removed from the website completely. Now tunghori put this listing back again, but now for 2 bucks more...$18.99 for a MH Clone Wars figure - that's why I won't buy from him again. If you're patient and have some time to watch, the bay might be the better option now. I'll stick to ebay from now on.

Well, I think as long as he got them listed, they might be still available. You might get lucky by sending him a message. I did the same thing even a day after I made my purchase. The notification of shipment was already in box when I asked him for TVC Greef Karga because he's constantly sold out...and he was still able to add one to my order, which arrived yesterday - 10 days after I paid for my latest order:

Yeah I dropped $120 last night on these figures. Got that ROTS Vader. Im disappointed that Hasbro didn't retool that figure for the R1 Vader. Instead they used the same tired sculpt. The ROTS Vader I had, I tried to make an "Ultimate Vader", but the parts didn't fit very well and he basically was a statue, which isn't very Ultimate, so this one im going to leave alone. Also git a couple more ATST drivers stormtrooper lukes, yakface , brock starsher and boushh leia to have as regular boushh for my bounty hunter crew.

I suppose Tunghori follows the Star Wars news closely. And these are obviously the cancelled/lost/Italian etailer exclusive Black Series versions of the Republic (Havoc) Trooper.
Sometimes I wonder how many units are stored in the factories. I can imagine tipper wagons full of figures that were not packed/didn't pass quality control. I'm pretty certain that's part of the source for Tunghori.
But I doubt the factories will just print the photo-real deco on possible left over units. It'll probably be cheaper to just produce a new run of units.
I remember when I asked Tughori for TLC Shaak Ti (TFU), some rare Astromech Droids and TLC Jaina Solo. He sometimes has figures which he wouldn't list in his store. Must have been 2014 or so and he charged me $20 each. It were 7 figures for $140 extra, felt expensive back in the day, but every time I look at them now, makes me happy to have them.
I wonder how much he charges for his figures under the counter today...

Back when we were podcasting I always thought it would be fun to have a good ole talk just about Tunghori and how he gets his stuff and continues to get away with selling Hasbro's rejects which we can only assume they are.

Who knows if this means that Hasbro are going to repack these. I think chances are quite high that we'll see both of them on Vintage cardbacks - easy repacks and as tired as the brand team seems to be of the 3.75" line, it would be no surprise to me.
I also forgot to mention that he also got some rare Kashyyyk Clone Troopers - one of them is the super rare Commander Faie from a TLC Comic Pack!
This picture here is a good example why I try to avoid buying from TungHori by now. He raised the price for TBS #26 Darth Vader (ROTS) to $19.99 and for TCW Boss to $17.99.

Got another order the other day. Quicker shipping on his end but it sat in my ends first shipping hub in Chicago for a week, I’ll bet. The box had a fold but no worries, there is usually plenty of bubble wrap in his parcels.

Sorry to hear that, Clint. I made a similar experience when I asked for two extra parts for the VC Rebel Fleet Trooper. He said it could be included with my next order and then it's forgotten.
Maybe he's too busy, but I can also imagine that the amount of orders declined since he left ebay, also because he rose prices significantly.
I'd keep asking 'til you get your part. It happened before and I'm sure he doesn't tell you to ship it just for being polite. But things certainly changed and I wouldn't say for the better.
Production might have been moved to Taiwan by now and I got the impression that mighty Tung has got trouble getting the latest figures.

#metoo! Back in 2006 when he was known as BlackSheepToyStore you could get 5 Snowtroopers for $12+$5 shipping. I remember winning an auction with 5 Jet Troopers from the BFII Multipack for $8 back then. That was also how ActionFigureExpert managed to build such a massive Clone Army!

Guess what, the German government came up with the brilliant idea do charge ALL shipments from China with customs and import fees since July 1. So thanks to TungHori for filling in the customs declaration form with $10 value. He used to write $5 value. I had to pick up my parcel at the post office today, they charged me 1.56€ tax plus 6€ general customs fee. Isn't that great? I mean I'm just happy I didn't end up paying an extra 20 bucks!
Somebody gotta pay the bill for that Covid-19 disaster right?
Oh, and the VC171 Stormtrooper (Freezing Chamber) was not included. I asked TungHori and paid the Stormie separately so that's probably why it was forgotten - another $17 gone.

Yeah, paying those prices for incomplete and sometimes not so good paint apps for action figures is why I haven't placed an order in awhile.

Indeed, TungHori also hasn't replied to my last 3 messages yet. So I guess he's either too busy or in trouble. lol It's definitely not fun anymore, but often the only chance to get a certain figure. The latest wave with TCW Ahsoka & Maul for example is sold out everywhere not only because both are excellent new figures, but also because that Offworld Jawa and Fives are fantastic!
As far as I know there are no power sellers, selling authentic figures, left on ebay. The "old" ones only sell bootlegs: Clone Troopers, Stormtroopers, Darth Vader (up to 200 pcs!) and lightsabers.
Oh and some accessories that might actually be authentic.

Haven't seen that Battle of Geonosis Jedi in awhile! I wonder if that means he is coming back to the vintage colletion? Was his character in the first Clone Wars? Wondering if we have another wave of that coming to the vintage line.

That would be awesome, but I doubt it. Last time I saw Mr Jasall he went for 89€ on eBay. I think his latest listings are older stock he found in his inventory, but that’s just an assumption. I don’t think this Jedi appeared in The Clone Wars, only in Attack of the Clones for a couple seconds as far as I know.
I’m going to make a custom figure of Jeff Bezos with this headsculpt so it came quite handy that TungHori re-listed him. I got my first one from Viperskingdom on eBay years ago. And I think I paid $15.99 back then.
Let’s hope mighty TungHori will also get the latest TVC figures.
And I do hope the Clone Ward microseries will see a second and third wave with some all-new figures as well. Thanks for your comment!

Received my latest order from HongKong after just 10 days including customs. Had to pay additional $8 import fees here in Germany. The German government think they're smart and make people buy directly from China pay for all the Covid costs. Export a virus and make the world pay double and triple! Genius!

I really like that R2-SHP droid because of the metallic blue shine to it. Yodais an error sample with two right shins for $11.99. And if this was not enough, he came with badly printed eyes and his walking stick is missing.
At least he included the Stormtrooper (Bespin) this time which was forgotten last time. Ordering from TungHori was definitely more fun not so long ago...
Also 3 figures were re-listed and all are in stock as of this post. This time around Moff Gideon comes with his Dark Saber. I'll ask if he sends me a couple to complete the two I already bought from him.

Same here, it's always a surprise. You never know what you're gonna get. It's almost like a box of chocolates. This time it took 21 days for the package to arrive. It usually arrived after just 10 days, but I'm absolutely fine with 3 weeks as well. Especially because I did not have to pay any import fees or taxes at the customs this time! Don't know if this happened by accident or if the economic sanctions against China are gone now. I mean somebody gotta pay the price for the Pandemic, right?
TungHori was kind enough to send two extra Darksabers. I asked him to do so because the first batch of Gideons he sold came without the saber. They are from the Carbonized version, but I'm happy to complete the other two with them.
ARC Trooper Echo came with his DC-17 Carbine this time around, BUT is unfortunately missing his backpack! If TungHori won't replace it, I could still ask Hasbro.
This was my most expensive order at mighty TungHori since he opened his own website. This order cost me $216 so I'm darn glad I didn't have to pay an extra 20 bucks this time.

The Darksaber might be glued together. The replacement on the left of the picture is the only correct one compared to reference images. The other two are reversed compared to the blade.

I'm absolutely thankful that TungHori is still around. I'm so ready to finally build my first diorama of The Mandalorian and so far I got every figure of the show from TungHori - even though they were hardly cheaper than MRSP here in Germany with shipping and import fees. The Build-Up Pack I got from StarActionFigures.com though.

I don't think we'll see her again, either. But seeing a George Lucas figure on 50th Anniversary card really blew my mind! I wonder if TVC gets the Maker treatment as well. By now I'm kinda angry that 6" gets all the nostalgic treatment with the cardbacks that made the brand rise.

I keep my fingers crossed that TungHori will restock them all at least once more. Just returned from the post office to ask if my order from December 3 was there. It's probably still at the customs' office and 3 weeks for shipping is still totally fine for me. It usually takes only 10 days from HongKong to Germany and last time I didn't receive a notification to pick up my order at the post office. I keep asking since then because I don't want my package to be sent back ever again especially if it's not my fault. People are quite crazy here a couple days before Christmas eve...everyone is honkin'!

So I spent a good amount of time on https://www.tunghori.com/starwars yesterday. I got a few theories, but the result of is that all newly listed figures of the last couple days have now been removed from the shop, again.
To my total surprise there was one more figure to be added and probably wouldn't have sold out in minutes if it wasn't the Razor Crest edition Mandalorian figure...
If it cures your pain a little, I didn't manage to place an order myself. I just sat there being confused and excited at the same time. Finally new figures. Hopefully Lobot and Bib Fortuna will follow. But none of the figures I wanted were available at the same time.
Don't know who the other snipers are out there, but I definitely ran out of ammo a day before Christmas eve.
I'll send mighty TungHori a message and ask if the above mentioned figures will be available next week at the end of the month.
I wonder if...
1) TungHori has become more popular than ever before (although I'm confident that sales numbers decreased by some serious figures when he closed his ebay store). But it seems more and more people got to know his new store. I'm one person to blame here I guess...ooops
2) it might have gotten more difficult to acquire these figures. Maybe TungHori doesn't get as many units as he used to.
3) Hasbro might have shifted their production to Taiwan completely or even to Malaysia. Yesterday I found an image, that might indicate that. I found it on Amazon, but might also just be the label of the Malaysian distributor that was used by Amazon accidentally...

So as of the beginning of 2022 TungHori has 150 figures listed. And I wonder what his plans are for this year. Is he still getting enough stock?
And is he going to see other action figure lines to expand his income? I mean you can find his store's URL with /starwars at the end. Could there be /marvel or /gijoe as well?
The only Star Wars 6" Black Series figure he had ever listed so far is The Child from Then Mandalorian. It's still listed for $2.99 (https://www.tunghori.com/product-page/black-series-the-child-baby-yoda-mandalorian).
I suppose he doesn't want to mix 3.75" with 6" figures to avoid misunderstandings in scale. Also higher shipping costs might be the reason. In any case I'll ask him and let you know what he replies.

I'm sure he has a higher margin now. He left eBay full of anger because they wanted to force him to apply a shipping method, which was stupid to him. At least that's what he told me. I was in contact with him at the time when he had left ebay.
It took a while 'til his own website was established, but it was worth the wait.
I can only guess, but my assumption is that he sold less on his own website at the beginning.
But by now I think his store is so popular, again, that some figures indeed sell out within minutes.
I have trouble myself getting all the figures I want to buy from him. And I'm still waiting for my order shipped at the beginning of December...
If people didn't hesitate to buy figures, I think I wouldn't adjust prices and reduce some of them.
But often he raises the price by $1 every time a figure is relisted.

You're right, it seems they all left ebay. Some are still around on AliExpress though. But it's getting harder to find Star Wars stuff cheap in the bay and elsewhere. Knock-offs are still around though. Some people even sell knockoff Clone Troopers of the Black Series as authentic ones on ebay.

On Saturday my order from December 3 arrived. I think it was due to the backdrop before the Holidays. The German mail was probably busy with national mail and put international mail on hold. It seems this package even went through the customs this time. It's hard to tell without a tracking number.
And unfortunately TungHori forgot to put in 4 more Vizam figures. I wanted to use them for customs and hope, he'll send them with my next order...

Great haul. Im waiting for him to get the newest wave so i can grab another bib fortuna cheap for a Twi'lek custom. Mythrol too, but probably won't have the accessories. Yeah sometimes he includes accessories, sometimes not. On the scout trooper he included the blaster pistol, but i could swear it wasn't included in the gaming greats release. It was odd.

It's funny, I bought a cad bane from him shortly before he debuted on the show for like 6 bucks now it's doubled. Definitely need an updated version. I have an order, that's supposed to be coming soon. I think he uses a different postal system or the one he uses changed their site.

By now I almost always buy two of the same character so that I can choose from the best paint apps. Bo-Katan is a prime example of how much bad luck one can have with samples from TungHori. At this point I'm absolutely positive that the majority of units he sells are error samples for minor or major reasons. Unfortunately both helmets come without the second double-ball joint. So I'll need tweezers to display both.

The peg of this backpack isn't casted that well. Reminds me of my own casts. The result is that it doesn't have a strong fit and falls off quite easily. Well, and Bib's parts are not glued either which makes making a mold for me much easier so that's a win.

The Jawas are by far the biggest surprise to me (besides the pen cup). Three of five came with an opened egg, which only comes with the Razor Crest as far as I know, right? That screams for a couple new casts and some customizing to me. Also their hoods came unglued which allows a sneak-peek at their actual heads 0//

The headsculpt looks stunning and both eyes are applied perfectly, which almost makes up for the flaws on the armor. Claiming $27.99 for a sample like this feels pretty rude to me.

Thanks for sharing. For a customizer having some not great paint applications or other problems may not be a big issue -especially if one is taking the figure apart. But...if this is the only way to try and get a version of a hard to get figure, its a major bummer, especially at high prices. I agree with you that the poor paint quality on your ARC is a shame at the price. I've only ordered from TungHori twice, and both times it was for figures to take apart, so I wasn't looking too closely at the details. I hope that if you continue to order from him, you will have a better experience in the future. I haven't checked yet, but the neck pegs from the Boss Fight Studios mini-blind bag kits, might work for your Bo-Katan helmets. I'll have to check it out and let you know.

Tamer: Thanks for the nice words. Well, it depends on how hard a figure is to find. By now availability here in Germany/Europe is quite well and at his current prices I rather buy the figures new. Many TVC figures are on discount at SmythsToys (http://www.imperialshipyards.net/SMF/index.php?topic=1012.msg228135#msg228135) and other retailers once in a while. So TungHori is not my best source anymore especially my last orders were such a mess with missing figures, making me place another order to get them and then even receiving error samples with missing parts. The quality of his units has decreased since he left ebay. Maybe it's just the quality of facotory rejects he got lately. Who knows...

Yeah, that Republic Trooper price is beyond high. I'm far too cheap (or maybe it's just sticking to a budget) to that kind of price for any Star Wars figure. Kenobi's not too bad, especially if you want to use the body for customs.

So he's got the Assault tank driver up again for 25 bucks. A year ago id be all over it, but I ordered 27 morak driver Din/Migs Mayfield to be my combat drivers.
Also he has deathstar gunners for the same price but remember, walmart is repacking them on a rotj card so, just sayin.

Thanks for asking, but no I have not. I sent him a message and he wanted me to provide some pictures of the error samples, that I received from TungHori. Still need to do that and I hope he sends me either replacement parts or a partial refund. Hasn't been an issue for past orders.
Still waiting for him to list the latest TVC figures like the Mando Commando, Ahsoka (Mandalorian) or Ms Shand before I pull the trigger for my next order.
I've become quite picky ordering for him because of the prices he claims now. Often it's the better option for me to buy them new. And then I can even be certain that those figures passed quality control.

I know. I check TungHori on a daily basis and I still missed out on that raider, it's really a lottery or a slot machine. I want him because he looks a lot like the marauders from Battle for Endor. Hopefully, but still doubtful hasbro would repack that at-st or at least single card the figure when they release the upcoming raider.

I never realized how purpley that deathwatch mando is. They needed to tone it down a little, maybe a more brownish jumpsuit. I might have to repaint mine, it bothers me. At anyrate that whole wave is processing right now from EE.
I did get my order with the klatoonian raider, but the AT-ST drivers came with no helmets. I bought them specifically for the helmets, I was going to use them for making custom mudtroopers. Then use some potf2 death star gunner heads on the at-st driver bodies for weapon technicians. So I'll have to do just the latter. This is the first problem I've had. Usually I always throw in some AT-ST drivers in my orders.

Yes, you eventually get the missing parts. But I wonder how essential accessories such as helmets can be missing. I just revised my orders from TungHori and all 12 sum up to $1,780 that I spent since December 2020. And I've got to say it's nothing but bald business for him. The software the website is running on even offers a slot for promotional codes, but there are none. I asked him before.
Sometimes I got a refund when a figure, that was still on its way, was spontaneously put on discount by $10 or so - like the recent price drop from $27.99 to $16.99 for TVC Captain Grey.
You can still get him new for less than $15 on Amazon as of this post ($55.84 for the BB 4-Pack).
The two times that I received a refund from him, PayPal would of course take their piece of the cake so we're talking $4-6 that I got back for issues like that - a drop of water on the hot stone.
At this point I'm quite mad (again) because TungHori has become quite unreliable when it comes to quality and completeness of the figures. Often shipping is less than $13 so that's been an extra income for him. That's okay for me though because it takes extra effort handling all this, right?
I mean the order numbers are over 17,100 now since he opened his own web shop! If a customer orders let's say 10 figures on average to make the shipping costs worthwhile, that's some serious money there! I mean look what I spent so far.
I waited before placing my latest order until I got a response from him. That alone was a struggle because the Death Watch Mandalorian went out of stock in minutes. Wanted to make sure that he includes the Razor Crest Mando this time, which I already paid for months ago, but I doubt that he still has one left. He also said that he could sell me one of those Klatooinian Raiders even though it's not listed anymore. So I sent him two messages to plea him not to send my order yet.
But he did. So still no missing Mando or the Klatooinian. He always puts me back to my next order. But at the prices he claims by now I rather buy the figures new & carded.
I'm finally done buying from TungHori.

Damn that's crazy. I counted it as a loss, I'm not going to see those helmets. Makes me weary to order any more. Accessories have always been hit and miss, but missing major accessories is a major issue. I forgot he sent you a pen cap or something instead of a mandalorian, it would be funny if it wasn't so sad. Tunghori was at least good for army builders, but now I'm not so sure. I probably only do 2-3 $100 orders a year. Thats why I prefer places like Ebay, there's at least some accountability. He might be getting too big for his britches, can't handle the orders.

Well, communicating with him takes time and some of the figures, especially when newly listed, sell out literally within minutes every time they're re-listed. So sometimes I had no other option than asking him to add those figures to my order when I had already placed it.
My question is: Is TungHori that I communicate with located in Macau or is he in HongKong as well? Because sometimes communication works and my orders are complete, but lately it's been a hit or miss as JDeck already said. The figures ship from HongKong that's what I can say for sure. They're obviously produced there as we all know.
When he asked me for pictures of the error samples, he didn't even respond to the bad quality they had. So I don't see the point here. Of course I'm not the only customer, but every customer should get good quality for the higher and highest prices he claims for figures, of which some are obviously error samples, by now.
So weeks pass and in the meantime he proscesses hundreds more orders. And I don't see why I always have to please and even beg him to finally include missing figures. Or I have to beg him to sell me figures like the Klatooinian Raider, which he offered me first, but now doesn't loose a word over it. If he forgot to include figures in the correct quantity sometimes that's okay for the numbers he handles. And I also think he has many people to support him by now. Should be a 6-7 digit business by now and so far.
And shipping is often less than $13 - you can check your shipping label by calculating HK Dollar to USD. So it would be nice if he just send me missing figures on his cost, but that would just NEVER happen. Instead, he just puts me off until my next order. Weeks and months pass and I've become tired of this game.
Hasbro Pulse is here in Germany now claiming 19,99€ for a TVC figure now. I'm glad that I can support Hasbro directly now after all the money they probably lost on TungHori the past 20 years or so.
So I added 12 figures to my card on pulse and come to a whopping 240€ on pre-order. This hobby was much more fun a decade ago...TungHori lost me now and I can only hope for a brand team that is more passionate about the franchise in the future. Until then I just enjoy what I got and go back to customizing. I don't play this pre-order, pay months in advance and price hiking game any longer.

So sorry to hear about your poor experience with TungHori. I don't use him enough to have much to complain about, but one would think that a serious customer would get some decent customer service. I'm always amazed at how there are so many hard to find figures available and have to believe they are factory rejects. I think, honestly, it would be a smart strategy for Hasbro to close the TungHori leak and sell unpackaged factory mistakes at a discount to fans. It would be a boon for customizers and fans who don't need packaging or "perfect" figures. The only challenge is, I'm not sure distribution and customer service with be any better with Hasbro :(

I don't know if I'll buy from him or not. I got the Klatoonian raider and im good now. Unless he puts something up really good. Like the walmart exclusive ANH stormtrooper, but who knows it might end up with missing heads or broken legs.

Tamer: Yes, I got lucky this time...
JDeck: Maybe I need to heat up Mr Lobot. The ball-joint doesn't quite fit into the neck, or maybe the neck isn't casted completely since it looks a little short. I got the one from Amazon (http://www.imperialshipyards.net/SMF/index.php?topic=2798.msg229189#msg229189) off the card and both look the same, so the error remains a riddle for me as of now. I'm sure he'll get more Stormtroopers in - maybe even the upcoming Gaming Greats. I've received a Saelt Marae with two left feet before, but never a figure with missing limbs.
Starchaser: I can well understand your surprise. The point is that I try to figure out a way how Mr Tung called Hori finally sends me the figure I already paid for half a year ago. He always put me on hold when I contact him. He offered me to sell me a Klatooinian Raider even though it's not listed anymore. I already paid for the Razor Crest Mando, but he keeps sending my new orders without it, which really pisses me off by now. He said it's going to arrive with my order on its way. If it's still not in there, I'll try to make him ship it to me for free.
No word on the Klatooinian anymore, which is unfortunate. I can only hope for a re-issue of the Raider AT-ST...as soon as I get the missing items, I'll finally say goodbye to TungHori after 16 years of blacksheepness...it's been great to army-build with him back in 2007 - I got 5 Clone Jet Troopers from the BF II Multipack for as low as $13.67 shipped back in the days...good memories.
That kinda compensates the frustration I recently had with him.

I don't see how getting a broken figure at retail price is lucky. I can go on Amazon and get a Lobot for 10 cents cheaper with 2 day shipping and it's carded. I just don't trust him anymore the gaming greats stormtroopers I can order right now. I think I ordered enough. Lately the GG figures are still in stock after release date, sometimes on sale carded. Those missing AT-ST helmets were the last staw for me. Once bitten, twice shy, baby.

But that's not enough with the oddity here: The delivery man came to my door yesterday, but he couldn't make his device accept the payment, so he had to take my parcel to a local post office. So I have to pick it up there myself today in order to pay the custom fees. At least he chose the closest office, which is a minute by bike away and not 15 minutes.
I'll get ready to finally get my stuff and will be back later to share with you what I find inside!

TungHori finally sent me the Razor Crest Mando. No word about the Klatooinian Raider anymore. Whatever.
The last batch for me arrived in good condition. These are good for probably being factory rejects. If they are, I'm sure they would be destroyed instread if TungHori didn't get hold on them.
It was a great time since 2006 and I probably got 30% of my collection from mighty TungHori.

It's amazing how much of a difference the paint apps make on a headsculpt. Fennec Shand is an absolutely stunning figure! The inferior lips on the right sample were not painted, eyes are okay on both, but still they look so dofferent from each other! Also depends on the camera angle of course. I'll have to check how carded units look in comparison. Also her drink accessory looks odd - one is clear and one is foggy - maybe some material issue or even a recast to complete some figures? Who knows...

Yeah, I mean only because I don't buy from him anymore doesn't mean that other collectors and customizers wouldn't as well, right? TungHori used to be an army store for armies that you could actually afford. These were the days when I was new to the internet and couldn't believe that it was actually possible to get 5 of my favorite Clone Troopers (the BF II Clone Jet Trooper) as low as $9.66 on ebay plus $5 shipping. Those were the days of 2006 when a legendary power seller and essential supplier was born. I'm still thankful to mighty TungHori because I porbably got half of my collection from him...haha.
The latest ARC Troopers are missing at least one accessory though. Other than that, I'm sure that you got good chances to receive a good sample.
Speaking of samples, there are 104 Million Euros in the pot tomorrow - do you think I should dare the odds and play the lottery?

Yes, same with ARC Trooper Jesse ($32.99), the Klattoinian Raider is still priced at $27.99, which is far too steep. TungHori hasn't adjusted the prices since the single release for both of them were released.

Absolutely. I contacted Hasbro if they're going to re-release it. No plans as of this time was the instant reply.
I wish I had seen the listing on Amazon. Nobody else made me aware of it and even one of my buddies didn't ask me if I wanted to order it in the UK, too. When I asked him where he got his two Raiders, it was already too late. But nuff of that drama.

I know what you mean, Shawn. It's a vast contrast to nowadays. I wish I had taken pictures of the stacked pegs at my local Meijer in Michigan. But my $20 cell phone from Radio Shack didn't even have a camera.
Walmart was a mile away and I even rode my host father's bike there. On that day I found the wave with R5 for $8.96 plus tax. I bought most figures at Meijer though, mainly because my host family never wanted to go to Walmart and luckily for me Meijer had about 100 3.75" figures on the pegs constantly and sold them for $7.99 each.
That was back in 2010-2011 and I remember when they had a buy 3 pay 2 promotion, so I got my host brothers a few SOTDS Saga Legends figures like Bossk, Battle Droids, a Clone Shock Trooper and 3 more for $30. Good times. I'm thankful that I experienced that golden era of SW collecting in the USA.
And will make some store reports when I finally go back to Michigan. It's been 9 years, soon.

For some odd reason, many Spider Droids of the Toys "R" Us exclusive Battle Pack: Droid Attack on the Coronet were on sale on feebay shortly before mighty TungHori listed the two Clone Troopers.
Since this Battle Pack is even harder to find today and I missed it back in the days, I just had to bite the lemon one more time.

VC44 Luke Skywalker:
Pros:
+ doesn't come with the date stamp engraved into the back of his belt
+ probably by accident I got lucky and got both versions: the one with light and darker blue lightsaber blades
Cons:
- black stripes on the helmet's front are missing as shown by TungHori on his website
- eyes are slightly off
- one Luke has some dirt on the right forehead
- lower legs are painted like all regular releases and paint doesn't math the rest of the orange suit
- the famous issue that his arms appear too long
TCW Clone Troopers Mixer & Red Eye
Pros:
+ prints are applied perfectly
+ overall good paint apps
Cons:
- one came with lines of the original blue paint on his right upper leg
- all belts seem slightly off
Buying from TungHori stays a curse and a blessing at the same time. DHL lost one of my orders from him at December 5, 2022. It cost me $194 and is gone since then. That's probably the punishment for placing one more order from him after the one I said would be my last. Prices on feebay are crazy and I just had to get those for FialaFernbrugg and me.

Yeah, TungHori is still a mystery to me. At the end of the day, he's probably a smart trader with good connections to the factories. That's why I keep his latest listings updated as sort of an archive here. But his prices aren't funny anymore. Yet, his figures sell.

Might TungHori would never ship replacements for free. In my last order, Ponda Baba was missing, the Astromech came with a broken antenna and TCW Grievous "Battle Damaged" came with two "damaged" heads, but the "undamaged" was missing. So I took it as occasion to get some of those Assassin Spider Droids for FialaFernbrugg an me in order to complete the Battle Back: Attack on the Coronet.
Everything was okay this time. Just cost me another $113 plus 10€ import fees. Cheers!

For customizing purposes it might be interesting to know that the TVC Power Droid comes with all parts loose and like most of TungHori's figures may have no (annoying) date stamp on its back.

This one even came with a stain of super glue on the side (error sample), which I'm currently trying to solve with oil. If that doesn't work I'll try my sticker remover or even acetone. Acetone will probably ruin the plastic, so in the worst scenario I'll have to repaint it completely.

I now Needa at one point went for a crazy amount. That was the best imperial officer sculpt until recently. How does he get these figures? 2 months ago he could have named his own price for a Needa Sculpt, which was a retool of the Imperial Navy Officer. The fact he's sold out tells you a lot. Come on. That sculpt at this point I wouldn't pay more than $8 American.

Love to see the Rebel ground crew figure. His helmet is different than the original release. Still white but it was a different helmet and it makes this figure even more desirable. Sorry this guy was not a regular release. I bought five of these from Tunghori recently. Keep looking for more. I use the helmet with the Indiana Jones Russians to add to my Rebel troops.

Good question, but I doubt he has his own factory. But good connections to the factory for sure! I can imagine they have thousands of units extra that weren't carded. Depending on the amount of figures they produce every day, they might have factory rejects or figures to be boxed later in the hundreds if not thousands. The times of TCW, TAC-SOTDS Saga Legends was probably the prime time for highest numbers produced.
Their stock might last 'til today if they have transport wagons like this full of loose figures of the same character.
