Wowsers! What a gallery! Great work in there, I have a top 4 but don't know how to narrow it down past that. This could take a few days to decide...

Sweet, let the voting begin! My vote is in but it wasn't an easy one, to be sure.
No, I didn't vote for myself, LOL.
Good luck everyone and thanks for the great turnout. I love the diversity seen among the entries. This was a great contest.

LOADS of nice stuff this time around.  It was pretty dificult to decide on a winner in my mind but I narrowed it down pretty quickly.  I used a combination of skill assessment, originality, and complicatedness of the figures to pick my vote...

but, may the best painter win! (I know it wasn't me!)

That is a great analyses of how to break things down for the vote Spud. I need to look at them again and try to decide.

ya know, and this realy is no big deal to me, but I just realized that the first image of mine is of the WIP shot before it was finished...

I ask that anyone voting go back to the initial submission thread and look through everyone's photos to get a better sense on what EVERYONE did, not just at mine.  Three photos of each just doesn't show the ammount of work that went into some of these.  I am not singling out my entry either, I mean clint submitted alot more photos over there in that thread as well as others so please, if you are just now seeing these figures for the first time and havn't been following the progression of this contest take the time to go back and see the other images submitted in that thread before making a decision.

Good point Spud as those arn't my favorite shots either. I have been meaning to post a couple more shots of my entry over in my custom figure thread #2. I will do that tonight. Yep, you gotta check out the thread also, folks. It isn't that big and wont take alot of time.

Remember folks, when you see the pictures in the gallery the number you want is above the picture. Sorry if we have created any confusion over that, but please look at the number and entries carefully and cast the correct vote. These repainters deserve your best effort and remember no Chads (for those of you who can remember what those were).

Ok everyone, now don't take this personally, but frankly, what was done was done that way for a reason.  Yes, I realize that most of us submitted many photos of our entries.  I had 17 of my own.  However, the time it takes to code each and every one of those pages is more than we had right now.  Shawn and I have a lot more to do with this site day in and day out, not to mention that we also all work full time jobs.  Honestly, in order to finish it on time for voting, I had to get it done before I went to bed last night, and I'm not sacrificing sleep before my work shift for a hobby.  I'm sorry if I didn't include your favorite shots in there, I chose the 3 that I thought really showed off your item well.  Not to mention, that ALL of the images can STILL be found in the original thread.  Now, for those of you who voted for the wrong entry because you didn't take the time to read it appropriately, I'll have to probably scrap this voting and repost the poll.  Next time, I suggest you be more careful.

Ok folks, we are unlocking the change vote tab and you will be able to hit "remove vote" at which time you can vote again if you voted for the wrong number.  We will leave this open until sometime tomorrow just in case. Now go vote for your correct favorite! I know what mine is!

I did NOT vote for mine either, and it was a tough choice.  I almost had to literally flip a coin!  In the end, I went with personal preference and my own imagination!

guys this would have to be the hardest voting I've done, I've narrowed down to 4 figures and even from the 4 figures I'm still trying to pick.  This was a great comp guys and will be looking forward to more in the future.

Wow, what a great competition! I am really proud of all of the great entries that we had.
Looks like Fiala Fernbrugg took the top prize for his great ATAT driver repaint and I took 2nd with the Animated Debut Fett Repaint.

Folks, we do indeed have a tie for 3rd place in between entry #8 by LucasClones and entry #13 by Luke Sprywalker.

I have made a tie breaker thread with a poll that will run for 1 week here. (http://www.imperialshipyards.net/SMF/index.php?topic=5057.0) Please go and cast your vote for which custom you feel should take the 3rd place spot and once again, thanks to everyone for making this such a great contest!

Fiala, I must say your chosen subject matter for this repaint was absolutely superb. I might know someone who would definitely take it if you ever decide to rid yourself of those troublesome atat drivers! LOL. Nice win guy.

everyone's work was fantastic!  But FF, on the criteria I mentioned before it was an easy choice to chose your camo at-at driver.  The originality of it, the professinality of the work, the amount of detail were all superb.  I hesitated only slightly because you used the decals, but in the end I'd have voted for yours even if you hadn't used the decals so it won out for me!  great job!

and of course great job to you too clint but you already know how I feel about your pre-visla ;)
