I have just began this ;D
It will be 80cm x 44cm, first pictures soon ;)
-
I think I caught just a small glimpse with that overall shot you gave us yesterday. That is a great scene!
-
Once all scenes I plan to do in the Executor will be done, this will be less small ;D
So, here are the 3 first shot of the beginning of the work.
Figures are on just for scale.
-
Oh yeah, you are off to a great start!
-
Wow! That is gonna look great DR! You are just a Diorama madman! Keep it up buddy! I love seeing your stuff! It's so nice to see in-progress shots of a project like this.
-
I hope you enjoy to see the dio as I enjoy to build it ;)
So, let's go for some new pictures.
Cardboard blocks between wall wood elements are just for spacing. 2 'window blocks' are not done yet and will (would, help me, my english isn't really good) take place here.
Stay tuned ;D
-
Man, you are making me green again!
-
Cool buddy! I am liking the progress so far. Oh and I think your english is fine. I have no problem understanding you or your passion for dioramas. ;D
-
Bridge body is now complete. First layer of paint done.
Need to do stairs, computers and panels and the space outside.
-
Oh yeah, this is looking great DR!
-

DR, the waiting is killing me. Any more pics of this killer project?
-
Sorry, but I can't go further now, all my projects are stopped because of my 'destroyed' hand.
Too painfull to use tools :-\ lvva

Darn, that is too bad buddy! It is nice to hear from you, though. We had been missing your input.
-
were you always a Star Wars diorama guy, DR, or have you done other dioramas in the past?
You show a lot of skill and attention for detail. Do you build plastic models? You have the skills of a plastic modeler.
-
Always and only SW ;D.
Never tried plastic, but the wish is here ;D.
In fact, my first dio is not very old, I've made it for a SW event in july 2008.
Here's a picture, my daughter Darth Hellion is on it ^^
Dio was made 'in kit', easily collasible for shipping.
-
Nice shot there, DR! I would have liked to be at that show! That's a nice looking display!
-
That looks pretty daggone nice!
-
I'm back !
My f*****g left hand is always painfull, but I try to do something.
Here is 3 shots from last hour.
Part will be primed with acrylic white paint tomorow.
New block must be collapsible for easier shipping.
Back location will be part of a hallway (left) and Vader's meditation chamber on the right.
Maybe some DEL for lightning...
Enough talk, now the pics...
-
Sweet progress, Franck!! I'm glad that you are feeling up to working on this stuff again!
I can't wait to see more!

looks like Franck is back in action. I like the progress too, wish you didn't have to do it in pain.
-
Some updates.
Assembly test is now good...
I have changed some measures for practical reasons 8)
Starting painting job.

It's shaping up, buddy! This is going to be one killer dio!!

My crown Jeweles at the moment are my 2 71st Elite TIE Century Tanks I am almost 73% or so of being done with them I am doing them at the same time so progress is slow and with working 12 hours a day that does not help lol.
