Well, I'm going to have to take a look at her in hand to see if it's all of them, or if you got a poor specimen, which unfortunately does sometimes happen. If so, perhaps you should contact Gentle Giant and let them know you're not at all happy with yours. If you want to do that, I can contact my source at GG and see what can be done. Just let me know.

The paint apps are a little lacking in quality. Her lips were poorly painted, and her face is different than the sculpt we first saw, and it's totally different than the picture on the box.
Between the black misplaced, the red being really faded in some places and her lips being the wrong color, the paint apps alone make it really not worth the wait or the price.
The quality of the bust itself feels a lot lighter than most of the busts.
She feels cheaper compared too the previous busts I've gotten before.
She's even lighter than aayal secura.

Well, I got more goodies today, though not the ones I was after, necessarily. I picked up the Darth Talon mini bust from the Gentle Giant booth, as well as a pair of Donald Duck as Shadow Trooper (Yes Greg, one of them's yours!), and the hidden gem of the show, in my opinion: The Biker Scout mini bust, found at a random booth hidden behind other things for a mere $54.99!!! I've been after this one for several years, and this is the first time I've seen one under $1o0, so I snagged it in a hurry!

Nothing new in my area. BUT.... check this out. Have you heard or do you have consignment sales in your area? Where people bring there unwanted clothes and toys to sale and make a buck. I have quit a few in my area and they are big. My (clones) kids have a class mate and her mom called me the other night she was there when it opened. there was an AT-TE and a bag of clones on one of the tables. HERE IS THE KICKER......I got a bag of clones ( 12 ) for $5.00 and the AT-TE for $20.00. I don't think I did to bad on that one. lol

Yes, the vintage ships were there. I'll see if I can get a good picture of these packs I purchased tomorrow--sunlight through a window seems to help my pictures quite a bit and it's dark now. Plus, I'm feeling lazy at the moment.

It's too bad that the punch the peg hole through to hang em as you can tell that they get em unpunched. I seen those little pieces of cardboard everywhere. They had two of those bombers at that price but mine had a couple of dings and the other had a hole in the box.
Oh, I had forgot to mention that. The 212th trooper card that I got from HTS was not punched but the card had quite a warp to it as it appeared to be crammed into the box with the two joe figs and only a bit of wadded brown paper for packing material.

What a day it was for me! I had to travel to a town about 40 minutes away today to have a little upgrade done to the audio system of my son's car for his birthday. If you are into this stuff all I can say is Memphis Audio rocks! Back on target, I stopped at a walmart I always check on and BAM! AT-AT'S ARE $49 and they have 10 of them in damaged packages. Well they had 9 when I left! Then I deciced to hit TRU for the Battle over Endor packs, no luck, but while complaining to the store manager, like I do almost every time, bet he is getting sick of me, but he finally tells me TRU has small stores like his that doesn't get inventory regulary and there are bigger stores, like in VA Beach that get all the new stuff on time. I say oh thanks and why didn't you tell me this last fall when I started complaining. So I high tail it over there 20 minutes further away to find my treasure! Both packs with plenty more left on the shelves. I also saw the newest wave of CW figures like Clint scored on but was out of $ as it was. Great score Clint! I managed to pick up a nice set of new figures at the Toys R Us in Times Square in New York City. This is really the only store you can get *anything* besides Sandtroopers, Stormtroopers, yellow clones, and the occasional Rebel Commando at for a 20+ mile radius.

Nice pick ups! None of my stores, out of 3 Targets, 3 Walmarts, 2 Meijers and a Toys R Us have stocked anything new Star Wars wise in months. I'm after the Bastilla Shan Vintage figure and the 2 different Savage Oppress figures. Hell, I never even saw a TCW Quinlan Vos at retail. I think Embo is the newest figure in our area.

As chairman of our historical club I'm eligible to shop there and around Christmas they usually carry Star Wars figures and vehicles in additionb to the Star Wars Lego they have throughout the year.
I picked up TVC Rebel Fleet Trooper and Bastila Shan today. Opened the Rebel, but thinking about keeping Bastila Shan carded as she's case-fresh.

I found some of the new vintage basic figure wave at Walmart. I picked up an Echo Base Trooper and a Jango Fett and that is a first for me. I have never seen one till now in my stores. Perhaps they are restocking the harder to find vintage figures from previous waves. It is nice to see wally world get in new stock too.

Is it still the same sculpt?I never bought the old Leia, so I don't know. She is nice though, she's fully poseable. She's got a Joe style torso, swivel wrists, and ball-hinged ankles. Everything else is pretty much the same articulation as most figures. On a side note, all three figures had the Boba Fett mailaway. (yeeeaaaahhhh) bbfet

I saw my first new Star Wars stuff since the General Lando wave (ok there was the Revenge wave but most of that was repacks so I don't count it as "new")
I was in wally mart checking the clearence stuffs and low and behold was (at last) a Balista Shan and Logray!!!!! FINALLLY!!!! First new SW I have bought (If you don't count Shirtless Savage Opress for Christmas since I didn't buy it for myself) since probably April or so. I was actually excited believe it or not.
I got a Lukes Taun Taun for $7.48 and was able to get an adjustment for the $24.99 landspeeder I got for Xmas......Double Score!
Ironicly I tried to buy her on ebay and kept getting outbid, that was when I found Storm Shadow for $15 shipped, after that I waited until after the holidays to start looking again due to the holidays but I found her in the store instead. Irony works out sometimes.

I picked up TVC Sidious, Vos, Maul and TCW Phase II Clone Trooper for $5.02 per figure with tax. Now thats the way figures should be. Too bad they didn't have this deal going for the anniversary of TESB as I would have probably went nuts.

I was able to get an Isabet Reau for $15.00 + S&H on eBay, and a Llats Ward shortly before her for $14.34 + S&H. (Shipping was only $2.00 for each, but since I bought it from the same buyer, his listing says he'll combine them.) Quite the steal, which means I only need three other Mandos to complete my collection!!! (Dred Priest, Rohlan Dyre, and the McQuarrie Concept Fett) ;DI was looking at that Isabet Reau, but opted to get the only other one that was listed on eBay from tunghori as I only needed her body for a custom I am going to be working on. I'm glad I didn't bid and drive up the cost on you. :)

Had a good weekend, found Bonda Poda AKA buttface AKA Walrusman at last (Ironic how I am now finding SW figs I was looking for last year), got an Aquadroid finally (see previous, although he now has different packaging), also found a Tuskin Raider from the 3-d wave (After checking 5 stores LOL).
In no SW news, Found Avengers figs and snagged Ultimate Thor and Ultimate Hawkeye (reviews forthcoming) and got a Guardians of the Galaxy set for $5, gotta love WM clearence sections.

A buddy of mine I work with called me up today, he was at Newbury Comics and said they had a Vintage Wedge Antilles for $15.99. He bought it for me so I'm gonna be paying him back on Friday. That's a little too pricy for me for figures but it sure as hell beats what its going for on ebay.
For anyone who doesn't know, Newbury Comics is a New England-based music retailer that sells music, movies, posters, etc. They do sell some Star Wars merchandise, but can be overpriced. For example, when I was looking for a Tycho Celchu figure they were selling him for $16.00.

I came out of the woods from hunting this morning and blew off a fishing rodeo to buy some Mothers Day Gift. Well of course I went by the pegs and low and behold the Evezan Wave was in. I think this was the one after the Malgus Wave so I still have no idea where it is, but it was nice to find new stuff.

The Malgus wave has just been found again by a few more SW fans/collectors here in Sydney.....it appears that stores are getting this wave in and once it's gone that's it. I know of 1 store here that's got the wave twice within a week. A collector in Queensland has located the Malgus wave twice in his travels to various stores this week as well. It's out there you've just got to be lucky to locate it i guess. The Evazan wave is being to pop it's head up as well. A collector in Perth, Western Australia sent me Kithaba and Dr. Evazan and they arrived a few days back.
Many stores here are now doing their end of financial year stock take so they'll be nothing new on the pegs until this is completed so those who were lucky enough to find the 2 new waves before this scored BIG time.

Just ordered the Sideshow exclusive Snowtrooper 12" figure! He looks great, but the E-Web cannon accessory was another $150, and I just couldn't pull the trigger on that one!
Amazon has been a boon to me, got Malgus, Shae, Oddball, a Gamm Guard, a couple of Fordos. The free shipping is a nice touch.

Well, we went on a day trip yesterday to do some winter clothes shopping for my gal and I happened to find the toy stores :)
I brought home that new K-Mart AT-ST in pristine packaging, but they didn't have any of the two packs out yet. I also was finally able to find, on my own, a Battle of Bespin BP and great shaped lost line Leia. And the coup de grace was seeing all of the Avengers Figures. My little girl came home with a Black Widow. I have never seen that figure on the pegs before. It brought a tear to me eye to hear her discussing the "articulation" with her momma who was looking at me and rolling her eyes for some reason?

If for some reason you cant get a full set of gear, make sure you get the proper ones for the ones you're missing because they arent all interchangeable...

On my note, I got in my wave 3 of the six inchers from Dorkside Toys. Happy to report I didn't see any sad eyes on at least one of my Bespin Lukes. Not too sure I like the Obi though.

Those are pretty neat. They're reascent molds? Its been a while since I've seen these. They look good, the TIE fighter and Y-wing are my faves, but the Falcon just needs darkening. The Blue Ray movies are great, but you know how I feel about that. Lol. Cool purchases.

On my own finds, I stopped by walmart last night and found the new wave 2. I was able to come home with one each of Kylo Renn and the First Order Stormtrooper. Gonna have to have multiples of that Trooper I think. He was right beside the regular version (5poa) and looked so much better.
I have the Star Destroyer and AT-AT from this set myself. Nice vehicles. I might have to pick up the Falcon too though. Ordering through disneystore.com is so frustrating if you are a momc guy like me. They have only shipped well to me a couple of times. Normally my order is just crushed.

I hear ya. I was iffy on these but they grew on me. Try starting with ones you would like to get. The TIE Fighters and Vader's TIE are nice but sometimes the wings come in broken, its hit or miss. You can skip over Boba Fett's Slave I. You're better off with the Titanium Ultra version of that ship, that one is far superior.

Hey Tamer, whats the story on the 5poa Rogue One Darth Vader you got from Hasbro? I haven't seen it anywhere, is it available? Is the head sculpt nice? I need to replace a vader head on my ESB vader, because its all warped. Usually the 5poa figures at least have good head sculpts.

I want to do the same exact thing JDeck. For the bodies, did you use Saga Legends stormies or ones from The Legacy Collection? And its just a simple head swap, no modifications? Just want to confirm before I go through with it.Yeah I used for one the SL25 saga legends 2011, i belive it is the same as the legacy, and I did have to demel that one. The TAC with removable helmet is a straight swap, but the helmet sits a little too high for my liking, but its not bad. Ive already modified all the ones i have, so i cant show you. I do remember testing it on the legacy space trooper (removable helmet) and it did fit on the neck peg. Id say any stormtrooper with a removable helmet and a human head underneath would be compatible with the r1 head.

And to add to this I finally got my 6" Darth Maul. Hard to believe I passed on this figure way back when the six inch line first started, but I got a pretty good deal compared to what I have seen this figure go for. I have so got to get off my duff and get some of this displayed. If you folks could see how crazy my collection room is now you would think you were in an episode of hoarders. I have plans to remedy this though.

I doubt they'll ever make a 3.75 Babu Frik, with 5poa being gone, but he'd be tiny if they did, so I got this. I also got materials to make his work station. Hopefully. The 3po doesn't have the red eyes like some do. I heard if you put him in cold water his eyes turn, but I don't know. I was thinking maybe put LEDs in his eyes, but I'm not sure how that would work.
He sits good enough, I think. I payed less than $15 so I want to do something with it. Right now I have a mild

JDeck, great Chopper. He looks great. I need to find the custom one the Mad Jawa made for me. It blows away anything I have seen produced at regular retail, including the six inch version. He is definitely one of my favorite droids too.

You could probably fit a Pico LED. The blue part separates from the puck with a peg. If you cut the peg, the led would probably fit in the void from the bottom. Only problem would be hiding the wires. With a jedi It would be easy, just run the wires through the robe to the hand. I did something similar with my Yoda and his little flashlight.

I don't want to be just another thing on the shelf I want to use it. To put it in perspective a mai tai glass is generally 12oz with an ice cap, a hurricanes and pina coladas are 16oz with ice. A 4 serving tiki bowl is 32oz. Olgas cantina Nub-Yub drink is in a 16oz mug. I should have just gotten that, it looks cooler but costs twice as much, but if 24oz mug is unusable then it's a waste.
