Title: Toy Fair 2010 Images
Post by: Phatty on February 14, 2010, 10:05:16 AM
Here are the first couple waves of Marvel Universe figures in Hi-Res.  The Silver Surfer and Galactus will come as a set.  Galactus will stand approximately 19" tall.  There will also be a Winter Soldier and Kitty Pride, but they didn't have those images in their server.

Wow, there sure were a lot more images in their presentation than they provided Hi-Res shots of!  I just wish they'd actually SHIP these to the damn stores already!  I still need to complete Wave 2!

Vision has already become like a Unicorn, I have yet to find him and he has been out since oct.

The rest I hope are easier though.  Especially archangel who is an all time fave of mine in that look.

Marvel is definatly my new focus this year though.  New and interesting characters makes the most of it.

found the hawkeye, thor, and ultron secret wars 2-packs. hawkeye, ultron, and piledriver are nice but thor, mister fantastic, and enchantress look terrible.

I just want the Hawkeye from that set.  As for Vision and Sunfire, I haven't seen hide nor hair of either.  I got the Jean Grey and Warpath and House of M Spidey months ago.

Definitely want the Havok, Galactus, Skrull Soldier, the Silver Silver Surfer (I already own the White Silver Surfer).  And maybes Archangel.

And that's it until we start seeing more Cosmic Characters - such as Guardians of the Galaxy (both old and new (would love a rocket raccoon)), Starjammers (at least we have a start on the Modern Version seeing we have Havok)., and theres a slew of other Cosmic Characters I want to see.  I have never been big on Superheroes as Superheroes if you know what I mean, I have always preferred the Sci-Fi style characters Marvel have done.

I love these figs, don't get me wrong..but why are they like a buck fifty more than iron man figs?

I'd like to collect them all, but just can't afford it.

My guess, is that it's because the Iron Man figures are new...just wait a month or so, and they'll be on the same price point.

if thats the case, I'll wait 12 months til they are a buck a piece, lol.

I hear joe prices are going down, but big H says a lot of things.

THe marvel guys are just used to paying more, I guess.

Marvel was up when everything was up, supposidly the price is coming down in spring as is Star Wars and GI Joe in the fall.

I rhink they figured out the high prices were working against them.  Good thing too as I couldn't see this lasting much longer.

I know on a personal perspective I wouldn't have bought near the Iron Man figs I have if they were the same price as last year's wolverine figures.

I have a question I am clueless about Iron Man other than he's a Marvel Character and Has been in a Movie, so with this knowledge can someone tell me what armor is his space armor if he ever had one.  Thanks in advance.
