Welcome to the First Imperial Shipyards Secret Santa!
Time for some fun at ISY!
Here’s where you get to have some Xmas cheer with your fellow Shipyard Forum members and exchange gifts for the festive season coming!
All you have to do if you wish to participate, is to send your full name and address details via PM to me, Darth Aussie Santa.
You in turn will receive an address details of another Shipyarder to send a gift to. Your address will go to another member who will send you a gift
Best part it’s secret. Its fun and you won’t know who it will be from...
Conditions are:
It’s supposed to be secret!..i think I mentioned that…lol
$20 limit but if it’s slightly over or under, no biggie.
Details to be in by 15th Nov. I’ll collate and send you your Shipyarder Secret Santa recipient for you to have time to send your gift.

Unfortunately I have to pass. I did this on POTF2 forum for years and was great and fun. Wish I could do it again here as well. But now there are no more SW toys in the Romanian stores so I have nothing to buy for my Secret Santa. On the other hand I'm sure people will be happy not needing to send a package all the way to Romania, since shipping could be more than the figure/item itself... :-\

What the heck, I'm in! I've been part of every Yakface Secret Santa since 2006 and it's great fun! I'll make a custom figure for the ISY Secret Santa too, then. ISY has a couple of fellow Yakkers, but also non-Yakkers, which is great!

Whew!! I'm hoping to send a custom fig, but I'm doubting I can pull it off in time to mail for Christmas. Esp. since I'm working on one for the Yakface Exchange, too. That's ok, tho, because, well, I'm covered in SW goodies to give. ;D

Yep, if you don't get a gift, you can flogg away, no excuse for signing up for a volentary give-a-way and then not delivering unless there is a major issue, then all it takes is simple communication.

LOL. My wive tired of that frustration a few years ago with the same excuse. I plan to give her a full color print up of stuff I absolutely have to have (yes its a need, not a want) next year. Still, she is pretty good, but knows I am pretty "ticular" about my SW collection and what I like. Sad thing is my three year old daughter told her what to get me the other day.

Well, just looking at the customs declaration and the stamps, this Santa wasn't so secret after all.

Simon was my Secret Santa, and much to my delight, I received the Sandtrooper with Dewback, mint in box! I believe I had JUST mentioned how I'd like to give this one a more realistic paint job, with more sand weathering, and it arrived within days later! Thank you so much Simon, I am VERY excited for this!

I know things come up, but over on another board I frequent, its the same guys year after year. It gets old, if you can't get your feces consolidated enough to mail a toy, well, don't participate, concentrate on other issues.
That being said, I've had a couple of "emergency" christmases, so I can also understand stuff happens.

I do not know just yet. There are still a couple of folks who did NOT send their part, but gladly accepted a gift from another, and some of those have since disappeared as well. We'll see how things play out. If we do, of COURSE you can be included!

Folks the short story is that last year folks got stiffed and didn't get their end of a promised gift. We have discussed alternatives and came up wanting with any real ways to make sure this doesn't happen again.
It is really sad to even have to report this, but it is what it is.
