Hey McMetal, I once did a comparrison of gas usage vs. shipping fees, and guess what? They're about the same. SO, if you want to save time and spend about the same, just order from Entertainment Earth. If you enjoy the thrill of the find, then wait to find one in a brick and mortar store. Personally, anymore, I almost rather order from EE or BBTS or AFX.

I hear ya...I turn 39 on Monday. (!!!)
Store runs are good exercise though! I can make it in and out of your average Target/Wally within 3 minutes, assuming there is nothing new to buy.

Happy Bday if I forget McMetal as I am absolutley horrible with remembering them. I too, will turn a dreaded 38 in about eight days.
As for entertainment earth, and I know sometimes they are a bit higher, thier customer service has been so good to me that I just don't worry when I order. If it shows up messed up, they give you a return number and pay the postage and keep sending it till it gets done right. I have never been given this type of decent treatment in a brick and mortar store. There they could care less the condition the toys are in. Even if I try to tell them they are being ripped off and people are removing weapons or replacing figs or bending cards, etc. they could care less. It is sure nice for me to read sometimes that some of your brick and mortar stores are different. I will also say Pat's point about gas is even more for me as I live about two hours away from the nearest target and toysrus.

I only use EE for exclusives or something I can't find at retail. I am a big gas wasting, thrill of the hunt, discount store checking collector. When I do use them they are great as you have pointed out.

I ordered mine the first day they were available, just got them Friday! Opened them yesterday and every figure in these packs are FREAKIN' SWEET! I love every one of these figures and as sweet as they are I can't wait to repaint a few to bring out the exelent sculpts.

Yeah, some of those ROTJ ones are very nice and don't forget that TOR Trooper. I look for this to be gone by tomorrow. To be honest, I am not very happy with Hasbro for doing this to folks who really can't buy online for various reasons, but I do count EE as probably the best online supplier out there and I have never had any issues with them ever and I have probably ordered hundreds of products from them now. Matter of fact, my Legacy Falcon I ordered from them because they were the only ones who could get it to me mint even though I found tons of em in brick and mortar stores. They really do gaurantee mint condition and pack well.

I don't know about you, but the always varied lot at regular retail and the ultimate disappointment I get at not finding what I want just sours the whole collecting experience. Not to mention dealing with certain members of the general public who try to sour the experience even more by scalping, destroying, hoarding, etc. I tend to stick to collecting that puts a smile on my face.

Clint, I watched the Hasbro Pulse Preview show during Toy Fair weekend and they showed this figure with both a bearded face and a clean shaven face. I will see if the PR photos they sent have both sculpts, but yes it is hard to see the other face in the package?

when I first seen those shots, I figured either it was a pack-in head or they had different versions packaged and long-packed in the case. From what I read, they will not be long-packed. I see the scarf in the blister pack but no head or face. I can’t imagine a peel off or stick-on face for our figures, although I made one out of resin one time.

Yes, that would be wonderful. This morning I learned that the AT-ST was available for around 65€ on Amazon here in Germany. So I just missed it - yikes!
I also wonder if there are two versions of the Mandalorian Monopoly game. Do they all come with the RETRO Stormtrooper pack-in? Or is there one without the figure and no orange RETRO sticker on the box?

GG should just stick with figures Kenner actually made. You can't tell by just looking at it, that it's Tarkin. What's with the wierd arm?
Movie realization figures are cool i just like the vader ones, they seem to be the best. It's actually hard to find the vader ones that aren't fakes unfortunately. Darth maul was cool, they made him up like one of those Japanese warrior monks. The Mando would have been cool with his rifle done in 1700s fashion. The baby yoda and pram are cool, they're done in the Lone Wolf and Cub style.

No there just rereleases of the Rogue One Stormtrooper they put them up for sale every one in a while, and I'll get a case. I think there's a limit to how many of the Stormtrooper army builders you can get, so it's not going to work for me. I have dozens of pauldrons of different colors and all kinds of guns. This works best for me.
Well I did end up getting the army builder from pulse, and actually got free shipping with the limit of 2. So it ended up being less than buying a case of R1 stormtroopers with free shipping, So now i got 16 coming. Im really surprised I was able to get them from pulse, usually they'd be sold out in seconds.

That's really kind of you to think of me. It turns out you don't need a premium pulse account to buy them. I got the email and I was curious how much they cost, so I checked out, hours after release, and I got free shipping too. My opinion has changed about Pulse, they're actually taking measures to keep items in stock for more than 10 seconds.

I preordered a team of Mortar troopers (I don't like calling them Artillery Troopers), a couple of Speeder bikes and a team of Andor Aldhani troopers. My army is pretty much done. I'll get a couple officers when they release, Jerjerrod, Piett that's it really. It's gone past the $15 mark I'm willing to spend per figure. $15 was always my top dollar when buying army builders from ebay. 17 is just too much to army build. The speeder bikes are at the price I expected, but I don't see that much difference from the TRU one. So I'm going to just enjoy what I have, build dioramas, shoot some scenes, without having to wait for this or that to come in the mail.

EE has Reaction The Black Hole figures. I love the movie, it's basically 20,000 leagues under the sea in space, mixed with A space odyssey. People think it's Disney's answer to Star Wars but it had been planned many years before Star Wars.
