We thought it best to make a new thread just to show all of the great entries to this contest on a page where you could view them at once.
UPDATE: The entries were so good, we felt it better to allow the site members to vote for their favorite entry. Each member can only vote once. The voting will last for 7 days. Good luck everyone.
In order of submission, we start with R1bb1t who posted pics of this speeder and rider.

I have added a poll to the top of this thread. We felt it best if all members got to vote for their favorite entry. The poll lasts for 7 days and each member can only vote for one entry.
Good luck to all the contestants.
-
Tough decision. I had to get extremely picky to come up with the one I was going to vote for. Very nice work everybody!
-
All great entries =)
In the end they are all winners!!!
I"m proud to be a part of the great crew here.
-
I cast my vote, but I want to thank all entrants as you all did a fantastic job, this is one of the hardest contests of any site I have had to vote it, all are worthy of winning,
-
I voted too and Sarge took the words outta my mouth about the great work. It wasn't an easy choice. Great work Yarders!
-
I've cast my ballot.
Great work by all, and good luck.
-
Not a bad entry among them.
-
Guys you make it very hard for me to cast my vote also. Fantastic work by all. I hope to see more and more in the future
-
All of them deserve to win.
It is a hard choice.
-
I'd like to say - and I think I speak for all the other entrants as well - these last several comments pretty much make winning irrelevant. I am extremely pleased to see my bike and rider in the company it is in, because they are all indeed win-worthy. I'm glad my fellow customizers and customs-fans see that, too!
-
I agree with doc! Thanks guys for all your praise and comments! We all appreciate it greatly. I know it makes my ego alot bigger... ;)
-
we need to get everzone to vote cuz this gunna be a close call!!!!
-
well, I know I lost
it was okay, it was super fun souping out my bike.
*sound of glass breaking, and screams*
I mean, I learned a lot, and I also learned that with a little creativity, I can turn a somewhat bladn speederbike, into an awesome camp bike
either way it was a fun time
mmmm dun-dun-dun-DUUUUN dun--dun-dun-dun-DUUUUUUN-dun
I'm okayyyyyyyy
but in all seriousness, this was really fun.
-
pete your bike is just as good as everyone elses in execution and concept. I think the deciding factors in everyone's votes has come to how labor intensive each build was.
You've seen several of my simple repainted speeders and yours is equal to or better than some of those, don't kick yourself down just because you might not have had the resources to do a from scratch speeder or something different. It still looks awesome! I love that seat you went back and added, that made it 10 times better than it was originally!
what happens if we wind up with a tie? just curious...
-
That's a good question, Devin, and certainly a possibilty since I was torn in between the choices myself as they looked so good.
Pete, your speeder turned out cool and I would be proud to have made one like that, buddy.
-
It depends, I guess, we can do a tie breaker or the prize can be split if both finalists agree, I am open to ideas?

And you could have had a female rider, :)
in the event of a tie, we do the pistols and ten paces, right?
-
Everyone, I'm going to say straight up, this is the most difficult contest I've ever judged! There are NO poor entries, and I simply cannot decide. Each one holds a certain element of excellence, and that's what makes it so hard! I'd love to see a giant diorama based on all 5 entries compiled, but that's for another day! Amazing work you guys, simply amazing. You've all gotten me back into customizing again!
-
Perhaps the two folks who are tied could post what they might like to see?
However, the ten paces did sound interesting!
I am guessing either run off or half of the take. Still, I don't know that Clint can cut his dio or gun in half!

I could probably be talked into another of each, if it comes to that. Were it a tie, a tie breaker vote might seem more fair that way, that fat wad of paypal cash wouldn't have to be split up.
-
In the event of a tie, Sten gets it! =) I think that's about the only fair way to do it.. I saw it in the rules as well.. somewhere.. small print.. lawyers removed it now though... have a screen shot somewhere..
All great entries, though I should have made a female clone trooper!!! ARRRGGG!!! :P
-
As a wise female pointed out recently - "Sex sells." ;D
-
man I just had a run-in with nastalgia last night and watched the old superman episode with lobo in it... you know the crazy dimwitted but incredibly powerful brute of an intergalactic bounty hunter? aka "the main man"... had I thought about it earlier I'd have used him for my base on this contest and built his bike... althought I think it would've been invalid since his bike is an interstellar vehicle as well as atmospheric vehicle...
lol do you guys even know who I'm talking baout?
-
Now that would have been interesting! Reckon a repainted Sabertooth head would do for Lobo?
-
Yep, I remember Lobo. He was a brute!
-
actually doc I was thinking either a sabertooth or wolverine figure would be the base and then I'd use apoxisculpt to sculpt his wicked hair do.
-
only 23 votes so far and man, it is close! Comon yarders, get your votes in.
-
Holy crap Lobo is my favorite superman character ever! Wasn't he the one who ripped the skin off that giant sand worm thing? That always made me hurt to think about, especially because it went back into the sand afterward :X But you should TOTALLY make a figure of him, what a badass! Give him a modified (or even just repainted) Durge Swoop, that thing's appropriately rockin' for someone as cool as Lobo! If you wanted to make a more realistically muscly version, the Comic-two pack guy who came with grand admiral Thrawn would totally work, he's pretty beefy without overdoing it!
-
dang that durge bike would probably be perfect! I was actually thinking about scratch building it with styrene... now I don't know what to do. I have to find a big skull to put on the front of it either way!
A buddy of mine on ST6 (narceron it wasn't you was it?) was going to use aura sing's swoop bike as a lobo custom bike.
I definately think I'll be using a wolverine figure or another marvel universe character as the base. Might find one of the drednok joes too though, they are already done up in biker regalia....
-
it wasn't me, the main man is not in my verse, :)
I do have that bike, though. .
Wait, the guy that came with admiral thrawn is brawn, but he's also a bit. . short.
I'd go with more of a hulk/colossus figure, just go for broke on it.
-
I don't want to go too over the top with him... lol hulk'd be a little big for what I have in mind...
-
I'd just like to say, that everyone did a great job, and I enjoyed viewing everyone's fantastic entries.
This is certainly exciting! Everyone is a winner in my book.

Once again, congrats, Dawn! I will look forward to seeing that pic with your merc on the dio with the chaingun.
-
Congratulations Dawn! And congrats to all of our customizers! I meant it when I said this was the most difficult decision I've had to make in these contests. Each and every one had a specific element of Cool that blew me away!
-
You should have your paypal winnings. The Tamer is pretty sick right now, but wanted to make sure I got that done. Congrats again!
-
The votes speak for themselves...A well deserved win!
-
Your Little desert dio and mini gun are on their way. Congrats again, Dawn.
I posted some recent shots of this in my diorama thread.
-
hey, we got the dio in today! it's a little smaller than I pictured it but still a realy cool display piece. Dawn's twi-lek looks great posed on it holding that big-ol mini gun. HA... I was hoping she'd let me have it but she claimed it as soon as she opened the package! lol, that's ok though, she definately earned every bit of it!
we'll try to get some different pics of the dio and her figs posed on it!
-
Cool buddy! Can't wait to see the pics.

one more reason to reconcile my friend.
I'm sad that I won't get to hang out with you on Thursday, but I'll try and talk Chris into being online more, :)
-
he definately needs to get on here and st6 more!
man even if you are in town on thursday most of my crap is allready moved to almo... so I don't realy have any of my customs stuff at the house.
