Title: Chewie's Bowcaster (Nerf repaint)

A month ago, my 4 year old nephew calls me up and asks "For my birthday, can you take my Nerf gun and make it look like Chewbacca's?"

Coolest thing that kid's ever asked me.  All over it!

Well, after figuring out that the gun was his SISTER'S and not his , I went out and bought a Nerf crossbow.  But it didn't come with a stock...so I MIGHT have scoured ebay until I found just the stock from another Nerf gun.

This is the paint job I did for him.  The darker layers are over a silver base, so when he inevitably scuffs it up, it'll look legit.  He was over the moon and immediately went and got his Chewbacca mask and hoodie.

That's really great I would've loved that....  At any age. Fantastic job.
