"Even more exciting news, we’re thrilled to announce we’ll be launching the Star Wars Fan’s Choice Poll again this year and would love for you to be a part of it. Last year, fans from all over were able to cast their vote on the Star Wars character they wanted to be transformed into a Hasbro Black Series 6-inch figure – and it was a huge success, creating TWO new additions to the line (Sabine Wren and Darth Revan). We need the fans’ help again this year, and we’re hoping you’ll join us in hosting the poll! (Of course I said yes!)
· All characters are fair game except from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
· Any characters from the Star Wars Rebels or Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series would be sculpted in the realistic style of the Star Wars: The Black Series line
· The top six poll results need to be submitted by Monday, 7/11 at 1pm ET
· Similar to last year, the final vote will be held on StarWars.com, and the winning figure will be revealed at the San Diego Comic Con Hasbro Star Wars panel
How to participate:
To vote for your The Black Series 6" figure choice, simply nominate a candidate by posting a character in this thread. I will add it if its not already a part of the post. If it is already part of the post just vote for your choice. Do not post duplicate entries as they will be deleted.
This thread is only to be used to nominate characters please. All non character nomination posts will be removed so I can keep this organized and be ready to email our votes when this closes!
The nomination process will run through Saturday, July 9th at midnight.
Then, just the voting will be open from Saturday till 9 AM on July 11th (So I have enough time to email our top 6 votes to Hasbro).
I will go ahead and start the nominations to get the poll created. Remember you can nominate as many characters as you would like until the nomination period closes!

the 6 inch line is cool, I decided a while back i just don't have the space to display six inch figures. My whole collection fits in my walkin closet.... or else! At least thats what my wife says!
Any way i went with Zuckuss. It would be cool to have all the bounty hunters represented. DH

well maybe Tonnika sisters... or wait ... no Dr. Aphra?... Super battle droids.. but not her who makes/repairs them... seriously?.. does no one likes Dr. Aphra enough to nominate her? She's like one of the few comic characters I actually like since the reboot of the canon.

So I decided to do some digging into the other sites to see their lists, because last year there was speculation that some characters were jilted. I was able to see 10 out of the 18 participating sites lists, from there I gave points based on what place they were in, 6pts for 1st, 5pts for 2nd, 4pts for 3rd... assuming Hasbro would likely judge it not just on the list, but what place each character was in.
#1 Jaina Solo at 35pts
#2 Starkiller/Galen Marek 27pts
#3 Hera Syndulla 20pts
#4 Darth Talon 19pts
#5 Gamorian Guard 15pts
#6 Mara Jade 15pts
The first two should be on the ballot for sure since they were also on the most lists, and Jaina actually winning a number of them. As I said I was only able to see 10 of the participating sites list though, so 8 more could tip the scale, this is just an inquiry I though others may be interested in too.

I was pretty happy with our choices even if I wished the vote were larger. Next year I am gonna try something different than the ISY Forums Format to see if we can get more votes. Perhaps there is a poll that works directly through Facebook.
I did receive confirmation from Hasbro that they got our six choices yesterday so thank you to those who voted!

I'm pretty sure there is a way through Facebook, theblackseries did their's that way, but I didn't see it until it was over, so I'm not sure how it works. If I were to guess from my own facebook page it would be under creating a call to action. The member only requirement is a deterrent, people don't like signing up for things because all the emails, and other junk that can come with it. Perhaps we could do a member created list, with an open vote that way next year.

Well I will have a year to figure it out. I am sure there will be some app that will work with a persons' fb or twitter id so folks can quickly sign in using those ids and vote. The more participation the better. Right now it seems FB garners the most interaction.

not sure where to vote from, but ANY republic commando. Plain white makes it easier for me to custom them instead of having to piant thinner one of the awesome premades.
