The only thing that is getting to me on these is how I would have loved to have seen them no vntage card backs instead of the Black Series ones, but I will definitely be picking them up!

The Snowtrooper Commander is sweet, the best is i can get my DD a new female character. She will love that.
-
The Snowtrooper commander looks good but that Luke looks horrible, does the tyron farr have full articulation? it doesnt look like it does and I couldnt give a flip about yoda
-
wth is that luke? looks more like 6in line then 3.75. am reading this wrong?

I hear you on the head sculpt for Luke. Looks like Hasbro's consistency is messing up Mark Hammil is still consistent.

Its more then just the head, the goofy hips, the diaper waste, the arms, bleh

LOL. Spooky why don't you tell us how you really feel about that Luke?
I can't find any fault in your points though. In a way though the hips intrigue me because it shows Hasbro might be willing to step away for their standard practice with SW Figures and allow some of the JOE style articulation perhaps.
-
Aside from the hips on Luke, there is more new articulation- double hinged elbows. I believe this is a first from Hasbro. Toy Biz did this with their old "Super Hero Showdown"/"Marvel Legends Showdown" 3 3/4" line which was the first time double hinge elbows and knees were used on an American toyline (Jaban's "Microman" line had them a few years prior) but this looks to be the first use of double hinged elbows in this scale in quite a few years.

Speaking of Dan's first hand perspective go take a look at this figures in a fully armed and operational gallery!

The pictures in our gallery are very high resolution (you will have to click the thumbnail and then the slightly larger image to get to it) and it really shows the paint cracking and hot glue on that new Jedi Training Luke. Dan got us some great images! Here is one example of what I mean by Dan's great pics:

which would irritate me to no end as I HATE HATE HATE the Joe style diaper hips

Frankly any time Hasbro wants to experiment on a figure to add more articulation to it I am not gonna complain! I think the JOE Line sets the standard when it comes to three and three quarter articulation so I have my fingers crossed they do more of this type of thing. Course thats just my meager opinion and that and twenty five cents won't buy you anything nowadays.

There was a Spiderman figure last year or the year before that had doublehinged elbows.
