I'll be getting this, along with a shiny new PS3 when it comes out since all of the guys I work with bought the PS3 instead of the Xbox 360.

Yeah It looks good I'll probably end up buying even though i suck at multiplayer and can't hit the the broad side of a barn

I was reading about this game in Game Informer Magazine the other day. They aren't talking too much about it just yet, but they said that because it IS Black Ops missions and teams, expect to see unexpected weapons. Military grade weapons won't be readily available throughout the game, but there will be weapons like crossbows. They mentioned one short gameplay movie where an enemy was shot through with a crossbow bolt with an explosive tip on it; the enemy staggered towards his comrades, and blew them ALL up! I can't wait to check this bad boy out.

I won't be getting this game or any other call of duty game anymore, for Activision it's all about the money, in the next 2 year, they'll be bringing out 3 call of duty games and in terms of content the Call of Duty games ain't what they used to be anymore, it's all $$$ they see, so here it's bye Call of Duty

2 weeks from Tuesday and it's live! I have mine preordered, and will be picking it up at midnight, since I work on the 9th. I'm STOKED! Who else is excited about this?

So? Who's picked this up and gotten lost in it? I of course grabbed it at midnight the day it came out, and have been hitting it super hard! I love the killstreak of the RC explosive car, or RC-XD. Super fun, and it pisses off so many people! I also just unlocked the Crossbow today, and that's been interesting to use so far too. Mostly, all I've really played is the online multiplayer games with the guys from work, but yesterday I tried out the actual campaign, which is interesting, though again very fast paced. It's different from the last Call of Duty in small ways, though not in any way to be irritating or anything like that. The one thing they still haven't changed is the shooting accuracy: It's amazing to me how you can unload 9 bullets into the chest and face of an opponent, but they move to the side and hit you with one single bullet and you're dead instantly. Not to mention how when you watch a kill cam, how the bullets don't even strike an opponent, or hit them in the bottom of the foot, and it's a kill. Still, it's a lot of fun!

Just as I mentioned.
Activision stated they would announce their new Call of Duty game within the next 3 months.
That's why I don't buy any Activision games anymore.

So yes I bought this the week it came out and every time I have a stitch of spare time it's spent on this game. I just love the story line.

Same here: I'm "gunskids" on the PSN; having a Level 38, 9th Prestige player on your team could come in handy, lol...

no sold my copy of black ops done with them until they totally redo the series same stuff every year been playing brink and having alot more fun till battlefield 3 comes out

I hate to say it, but you actually have a point. I'm certainly NOT picking up MW3, just to spend another year of my life getting to 15th Prestige. I'm sticking with Black Ops, since I've worked so hard on it, thusfar, and I'm not even at 15th, yet. (Level 28, 11th Prestige...)

Just checked out a few game-play videos for it. Looks very cool. If it's priced fairly at Gamestop/EB Games, I'll pick up a copy.
