Title: How to recast parts using epoxy putty - very simple
Post by: dax415 on April 02, 2010, 01:34:57 PM
Hey guys,

Had to ask a forum buddy on a different site for the link, but I thought this could help alot of those that customize a means to recast simple parts.  This method DOESN"T work for everything and is trial and error.  Here is the link:

I'm going to have to try this sometime.  I have some things that could use a good casting!

That actually is pretty cool.  I would think you could do this with any epoxy putty that's out there... and if you did it correctly and planned ahead you culd probably make good 2 part molds that can fit together well enough to pour resin into.....

HMMMM.....    :o IDEA!

using this method to make 2 part molds for weopons that can't be molded in the traditional one part mold style that we've been using with the silicone might work realy well....
