You have done a nice job on the clones.
I like the mandalorian, and the new jetpack looks great.

-
very nice have you noticed that ganch's colour scheme is very similiar to jumpers (of the 344th) i made jumper a loooong time before i saw ganch(in the comic) , thats really spooky dont you think?

Those are AWESOME! Sweet crew you got there!

-
Sweet customs dude! I like the symbol that you put on their shoulders.
-
Clonemedic,
I love your latest set of figures and thanks for the close up, the paintwork is superb!
-
The Third Drop Company ROCKS! Great squad you have there and I love the marking on the shoulder.
-
Heres the Medic, he is also a part of 3rd Drop Company, his name is Baarur (literally "medic" in Mando'a), the Aurebesh on his right leg says MED, he has a long range antenna on his back to communicate with other soldiers more easily and call for transports to take away severely wounded men. He is also trained to fight alongside his other Company members. He has extra pouches to carry addition medical supplies
-
awesome custom
I like the name and the Aurebesh on the leg. A thought through custom mate 5/5
-
Thanks Fiala! I got the idea of putting Aurebesh on him from you Military Police custom

Thanks Fiala! I got the idea of putting Aurebesh on him from you Military Police custom

-
:o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o ITS ITS ITS BEAUTIFUL :'(
lol thanks
-
no problem
-
Man, that is freakin AWESOME!
-
very very nice.
The plo koon figure is awesome. very well done. I think the soft goods could have been tweaked just a bit but working with soft goods is always a challenge.... did you start out with a white fabric for the cloth? if so I think that maybe you added too much black... BUT I'm going by comparing it to the concept image, if you ignore the concept image I think it's an awesome piece...
BUT it's nothing compared to your clones a few pages back. I hadn't commented on them yet and I'm sorry I hadn't! I honestly didn't think too much of them at first (after all I got bored of clones easilly) but after seeing the medic for the bunch, and the extremely well done drop ship emblem (awesome microdetailing) I've got to say they are some of my favorite animated clones I've seen in a long time.
Your paint apps have me jeolous... I can hardly ever get strait lines where ther arn't lines built into the figure (like around armor points, helmet details etc...) to get the strait lines against the armor folds and grooves is beyond me... I'm not that patient.
-
I like your custom plo. It's cool to see someone convert a fig to look like an existing concept image and do a pretty good job at it.
-
wicked custom mate thoroughly enjoyed seeing that one
-
Thanks guys and spuda, your right i did add a little too much black, and i realized that when i was marking up the cloth, and i kinda got mad at myself, but i just rolled with it. im DEFINITELY gonna re-do the cloak thing if i get the chance
-
and i dont think it was concept plo koon, it was just entitled "Kel Dor Sniper," anyway thanks for the feedback!
-
and i dont think it was concept plo koon, it was just entitled "Kel Dor Sniper," anyway thanks for the feedback!
well, either way it can be considered "concept art"... I go looking through deviantart for pictures of people's RPG character concept art and original pieces for inspiration all the time! Some are even willing to pay for a figure made from their artwork....
-
I don't care what you call it. I like it! Getting it on the fp now.
-
Freaking amazing kel dor man that is just cool.
-
I got what i wanted .its amazing :o
-
thanks guys, just began working on a custom "trench trooper," he's a camo'd trooper made for defending bases, forts, etc on grassy planets, ill try and finish him and get the pics up by the end of the night!
-
ok first up are actually 2 of my first customs, just some pilots, one is a V-19 Torrent Starfighter pilot, he's a part of the 501st, his name is Birdie
the other is an AT-TE pilot, he pilots the one that is led by Commander Retal (Grey Commander on pg1)
-
k, here is the 88th Trench Company- "The Mud Monsters," they were given this name because they were stationed on Naboo, after the Blue Shadow Virus Crisis, to protect the planet from increasing Separatist threats, when they emerged from their first battle on the planet were covered in mud and one trooper remarked that they "looked like monsters," they are a Sub Division of the 88th Defense Regiment (who i will be making customs of as soon as i get some more clones). Trench Company is the first line of defense against attacking droids, the main part of the 88th Defense Regiment would be scattered among the cities, inside the castles, and stationed among outpost throughout the planet.
First up is Captain Mudd he is a highly orthodox clone, but is known for his incredible battle tactics- the reason for the facial scar and mud covered face is during the first attack on the planet by the separatists he was ambushed by a commander droid and got his helmet knocked off when the droid punch him in the face, the "finger" scaped his face, leaving a scar
-
o and i forgot to mention he was given his Jaig eyes by Jekarta Tar (my custom mando) who witnessed his incredible skill in battle and found him afterwards and painted it on his helmet
and the decal on the back of his helmet is supposed to be a bush with two eyes looking through it
-
next up is Target, he is in charge of watching out for enemy snipers during the battle, he is a rather remorse clone because during their first battle on Naboo his best friend in the Army was taken out by an enemy sniper, he constantly blames himself for the happening, he even painted a target on his helmet right where his friend was hit, giving him the name "Target"
-
last. but not least, is Briik, a rather "happy" clone (the reason for his name, "Briikase" is mano'a for happy), very proud of his job, usually keeping count of his kills, getting very competitive with his brothers
last is group photo
-
Awesome figures! I love the camo scheme on them, and I especially like Target's background story. Great work!
-
The story you gave him is really cool and the figure looks superb.
great job
-
Nice figures, Medic! You are on a roll, buddy.
-
great customs and excellent back story i love doing this for my clones as it really brings them to life!
-
I agree: The customs themselves were cool enough, but the backstory made them GREAT!
-
Love the history on those guys
great customs
-
I don't know how I missed these all day, but I am going to the fp now. Wow, I like that squad and that atte driver.
-
Awesome clones man
-
WOW! That is a lot of awesome clones!
-
thanks guys i just mapped out 6 more new customs on some of my pre custom drawings, i just need to get some more clones! i also picked up a very fine detail brush at the art store today so expect some slimmer lines!
-
Cool cant wait
-
Awesome Customs clone medic 96 id give 10+/10 dav2. Once Again AWESOME CUSTOMS
-
Awesome Customs dude, did you make Target out of a Gree or a Boost?
-
i made it out of gree, Mudd is made out of a cody and the helmet from the Assault on Ryloth BP, Briik was a 41st Elite
-
wwwwwwwwwwwwooooooooooooooooo! :o
-
daaaaamn, Spud, you've topped yourself here.
go ahead, Devin, line all your Mandos up and make us vote for the best one, I'll still pick this one over all the previous ones. :P
I mean literally this IS your best so far, and the evidence for that statement is two qualifiers: 1] the articulation is tops right down to the swivel/hinged clone wrists, and even cooler 2] tacks in his boots to make real spike toes. Detail like that is as authentic as it gets and it's always fun to see.
P.S. the snow Mando would be some stiff competition for him though. and its' only a coincidence they're both the latest you've done.
-
lol NFC somehow you've posted in the wrong thread....
-
haha NFC i agree spuda's customs are great, but wrong thread ;)
-
just made another custom mando, pics up soon ;D
-
cool cant wait.
-
Ok heres Donny Tar- he is an ex-Clone Assassin who sneak off during the assault on the jedi temple, he met Jekarta Tar (my other custom mando) on coruscant and Jekarta adopted him as his brother, he now works as a bounty hunter/assasin. He has a deep hatred for Imperials for what they did but he refuses to join the rebel alliance. He has assassinated multiple imperial officers and he collected a large sum of money from his hunting. Hope ya like!
-
more...
-
Looks cool to me. What did you use for his cape?
-
ok here is Clone Medic Tal (mando'a for blood), he is my first 88th Defense Regiment (more to come), he spent the majority of the war stationed on Naboo, he complains that there isnt enough action there but enjoys it when he can.
-
Looks cool to me. What did you use for his cape?
i used a cut-in-half asajj ventress dress thing
-
heres Tal's kit- he carries a surgical tool, 2 bacta containers, and a back-up pistol
-
both of them are really great customs i lkie how you put the cross on Tal's head.
-
great customs
-
great custom. I'm working on one ;D ;D ;D
-
cant wait to see it darth :)
-
ace looking mando's mate he looks very cool and an awesome shot that you did with his bro...
and the clone medic Tal looks very sweet too, great job all round mate, i am very impressed!!
-
wow the Mandos are awesome, I like the arm-sword.
-
Yepper that arm sword looks great, I really like the back story on this one.
-
Great mando's and clone!
-
thanks guys heres a few more- got 2 basic 88th Defense Regiment troops, and then its Clapper, a fun-loving clone, close friends with Briik, they would always compare kill counts after battles and would constantly joke with each other
-
next is Commander Blocker, leader of the 88th Defense Regiment, he is a skilled commander, having some of the best battle tactics in the GAR, his jedi general died in battle and he has been leading the regiment on his own for some time
-
group pics
-
Great looking troops!
-
thanks Luke!
-
awesome mate !
-
I love your Mando/Clone Assassins/Medics. The Red and Blue costumes remind me of the undercover Mandalorian armors of Ordo and Mereel from the Republic Commando series! All of your clones are awesome looking!
-
thanks Pat, I appreciate it!
-
The 88th looks really good and i love that group shot
-
clones, clones and more clones man this place is clone city!! great job its always great to see more Clones!!!
-
clones, clones and more clones man this place is clone city!! great job its always great to see more Clones!!!
Ain't it just a great problem! Nice work, on the fp again!
-
cool customs clonemedic! When it said GAR on Cmdr Blocker's bio, I'm like" WTF is the 'GAR'?" then I remembered and said " Oh yeah! GAR means Grand Army of the Republic."
()rr
-
Awesome work.
Ron
-
thanks guys, ok like squirepec i am also starting on a Boomer, and maybe a Kano, so far i dont have a ARF Figure to paint on, so at the moment ill just show you the strap
-
Nice!
-
A small word of advice... Kano's chest detail is on HIS left... the pic got reversed.
-
thanks for the advice mountie!
-
almost done with a new mando, should be done with pics up tomorrow
-
I'm on the edge of my seat waiting, buddy! ;D
-
sorry its taken so long to get those pics up guys, ive been forgetting to charge my camera battery and i finally got around to doing it today so:
Alor Akaan: Former Deathwatch leader, abandoned the Cause right after the start of the Clone Wars, became a bounty hunter during that time, responsible for the death of a Republic ARC trooper, Current Location: Concord Dawn
-
That's to cool! O0 Is that the strap you made for the boomer?
-
Next is Sergeant Longshot, he is apart of the 88th Defense Brigade, he is also one of the best snipers in the GAR, Commander Blocker says he is a good enough leader to be a commander himself
-
basically yea, i used the same "ingredients" to make that one as i did for Boomer's,
Here is an anonymous clone gunner in the 88th Defense Brigade
-
awe inspiring clones.
-
thanks dude!
-
cool customs dude like the one with the microbinocs
-
excellent customs mate altho "longshot" skills will have to improve before he can rival "dropshot " of the 12th Spec-Ops Brigade as he can pick the fleas off a charging Gundark's back at 1,000 yards! ;D(plus he uses the DC-15L sniper rifle A.K.A. "the Longsaber")
(hope you dont mind me posting a pic mate)
-
Great customs
-
pff i bet dropshot cant no-scope a shriekhawk through the eye at 1000 meters ;D
-

-
thanks jediwolf, I just finished a 501st Clone Sergeant
Is it Boomer?
-
na dude, havent been able to find any arf trooper since i decided to make him... this one is just a Denal Repaint
-
K here he is Sergeant Kyram (death in Mando'a)- member of 501st, his squad is a part of torrent company. His squad mates see him more as a father than a brother because of his incredible wisdom and strength, sometimes they would call him Kybuir- "Papa Kyram"
-
great custom and story clonemedic. I like the symbol
great job
10/10
-
Nice one, Clonemedic! I like the symbol on his chest.
-
excellent custom and superb back story !
-
Awesome custom and nice backstory.
-
Very cool. Though I prefer the "movie" style figure, Clone Wars is giving us a lot of interesting new head sculpts for the clones, and lots of great opportunities for creative new paint jobs like this!
-
Just started working on some custom CW RC's, im done with the artillery guy, but i decided im gonna post em all at once
-
Here is Six- leader of Sigma Squad, Like most squad leaders he is rather serious but unlike his squad mate Headshot, he does know how to have fun. Sigma Squads Mandalorian Training Sergeant was Llats Ward, Unlike many squads they survived Geonosis and continued to do missions similar to that of Delta Squad. Their most notable mission was during the Battle of Muunilist. While Muunilist 10 was working on disabling the Ion Cannon and capturing Muun Official, Sigma Squad was infiltrating and destroying a Separatist base in the north-eastern hemisphere of the planet.
-
Now its Pyro, similar to Scorch he is the fun-loving clone, pulling pranks on squad mates in between missions. In his spare time he fiddles with various lighters and matches, which is how he got his name.
-
Next is Techie, the technical expert of the group, closest friend to Pyro, usually will help him with his various pranks
-
Last, but not least, is Headshot, the groups sniper, the most serious member of the group, Pyro says that Headshot-"has almost no sense of humor, I doubt its physically possible he can laugh." As a prank one day Pyro and Techie decided to paint a smiley face on Headshot's armor while he was in the shower, he didnt realize it until their next mission.
-
AWESOME JOB!!! I did something similar to this except no back packs. 10/10 . . . Great job!
-

-
sweet customs dude they look awsome i myt have to try and make sme like theses if tht ok
Totally dude, I don't care if you use my ideas, kinda makes me happy knowing that people like em that much! Cant wait to see em!
-
Very nice, expect to see this on the front page. AOTC style RCs.

yea so did squirepec lol.. its taken me a while to find an arf trooper, but i still need some leather (for the strap)
-
I didn't add the strap. In the game, he doesn't have the strap. It's been a while since I've played it, but I saw a pic of him from the game and he doesn't have the strap. bbfet

Yeah in the game he doesn't have the strap. But with his concept art he does so I don't know why they changed it for the game.

K, here is my new bounty hunter (made from a GI Joe fig and a few spare parts)
Dante Draco

I love it so much I am pinching it, lol. This rocks and it's a Bounty Hunter and not a flaming Mando (Please tell me he ain't a Mando it's a big universe).

Clonemedic96,
Like the customs mate. The weathering to me is also nicely done. You mentioned way back as I was reading through the 18 pages that you weather with a paint marker and a paper towel?
Is it possible you can show us a pic of the paint marker with the color/brand showing? I like to learn new things. I know the wash method. Wraithnine uses a Inkwash I learned from his site and also a "Old Friend" of mine Joe showed me a method with Pastel Chalks and it worked out well also. So another lesson would be great.
They all work well but as all of us customizers know the looks of some compared to others have there uses and specialty's. For instance Pastel works great on vehicles and good on Tantooine's Storm Troopers. It also does great to me for Real dirty weathering OVER the "Wash" for that extra dirt clumpy-ness.
Ink wash is great for its roles etc... Your looks nice for just out the battle weathering and bright gloss troopers weathering. So I would really LOVE to see the method behiind your madness. I woud like to just say great customs and I am awaiting your teachings.
Thanks Bro,
Darth Creatine (Jon)

CloneMedic96,
Thanks for posting the paint marker Mate!
I do however have a few questions for you about it.
#1. It's Enamel and usually it leaves the figures sticky or doesn't paint right like Acrylic does this pen hold up alright as far as paint and stickyness? Also is this used on the actual figure or the face for scars?
#2. Say you use the Paint Pen. What would be a "Normal" use for you with thid pen on a custom. Face Scars, Small Lines on armor, Writing on Helmets, Logo's on chests etc... Those are what I mean. Can you explain to me so I know what to do with this paint marker. I have never seen one.....Sorry I am a closet soldier and a loner. I dont get out much no more.
#3. Where do I get them from and howmuch do they run. I am also scared of the Enamel. I prefer Acrylic and wonder if they got those in Acrylic.
Darth Creatine
PS: I wanted to comment on the Clone Above. Man I am loving your use of the Gun Holster on the breast plate and also the DC-15? Used on the figure. I was looking at the Gun and said Man if that thing had a Scope OMG......
Also the 90% white Clone with the hint of Red and Black rocks to me. I loe the ARF helmet on him also. You nailed it bro. Congrats and PLEASE teach me more Master Customizer.

Thanks man, yea the one downside of the paint pen is it leaves sort of a "greasy" feel to it at first but after that its fine, however i switched to a method where you use the smallest amount of paint and then wipeing it off on a paper towel before applying it to the fig, works a lot better and doesnt leave the greasy feel. they dont run however im not sure where to buy them, found it at a friends house but im sure you can find it at any sort of arts and crafts or hobbie type store
-

Ok first im gonna put up some editing that i did on two figures, Headshot and Target, I added some paint to Headshots "cheeks" as i call it, and I gave Target a tattoo of a target on his face and "teardrops"
-
K more...
First is Pug (Pugna is latin for Fight) of The 59th Scout Division
