Well here is my first custom, 85% complete.  I still need to build his custom backpack, add shoulder pads, do some work on the feet area, and do some paint apps.  He's a minor force sensitive bounty hunter towards the end of the clone wars who simulated Jedi and Sith tactics mostly with technology to strike fear into his opponents.

Comments, tips, questions welcomed.   Not sure what the skirt thing is called that ARC Troopers have, I wanted to make one for this guy as well but didn't know what material to use or how to cut one.  Has anyone done a tutorial?  I have a Darth Maul from the Sith Pack, but I cant seem to pry that one off, if I could get that one it would work.  Thanks

Ey Dax, that does look cool! The skirt that the arcs wear is called a kama and I have made em with paper mâché using tissue paper and white glue using a plastic potf vader Kama as a mold and building the Kama on the inside of the mold. It is easy and works pretty slick.
I belive I have documented this early in the first 20 pages of my custom figure thread somewhere but can't remember where. You would just have to look for it.

I will have to do a tutorial for this and a full cape using the same material, sometime in the future.

FIALA!!!!!!

Me and you are gonna fight....You beat me again. Oh well Great work Dax....

Love the Conversion. I like the overall appearance. The White Saber actually throws it over the top for me I like it. And for a first customs even a simple cloak switch to Snakeeyes and a saber can make the difference. Only thing I would recommend is like you mentioned "Already" above. Change the paint a little and also do the eye visor like Silver or red or yellow something to make it stand out. So it changes from Snakeeyes to a name u can make.

Great job for a first custom. Love the idea behind it.

Thanks for the encouragement guys!  I'm still going through and getting ideas from the different customs here on the boards.  One of the things i've noticed is that even when you splice figures together you can really make it come alive when you bring out the details already on the sculpts.  I'm eager to use a metallic orange/rust colored paint i got awhile back for the visor and a few subtle areas.  The yellow belt will also be painted a orange color as well.  A custom Kama is a definate for this figure (see pic below), so it may take me longer than I would like.  I wanted to make a figure that holds true to the concept that this bounty hunter is somebody no one can really tell if he's actually a Jedi or Sith out for his own ends, let alone who or what he is.  I've also considered a story line where his success using these tactics gets him into trouble with both the empire and hunted jedi at the end of the clone wars.

Dax,

Looking VERY good mate!

I can't think of much else to add that would go along with it. Adding the Karma will end it for me. I would do what you said with the Orange. I really like this Custom.

The figure is great the story line is good so far and will be bettwr once you polish it off. I can't wait to see the outcome!

Once again good job mate!
