Holy crowes, where did that gunship pod come from? I can't believe that they pulled something so cool out of their hat. That one made my day, Shawn!! I'll take 4 please....

Here is a toy fair shot of that Yavin BP courtesy of Rebelscum.

I must say that I am pretty impressed that hasbro is listening to collector wants. Surely this is a result of the frequent questions sites send in for the Q and A. If it weren't for the skinny clones I would be totally happy with the CW line too, but the kid appeal for the new show drives that style so I can understand that to a degree too. I think the only thing that bugs me about hasbro is that they are not making Legacy figures of the new Clone Wars characters and that too may one day change even though they have said no for now. Man are there lots of pilot themed things this year or what!

I would be guessing, but are the turrets going to be able to hold a gunner in them?  I would think so, but you never know.

The pic sure doesn't show the pilots in any of em Chad. Kinda like Clint's review of the spider droid, the droid can't close the hatch becasue he is too tall!

Mabey his legs are supposed to hang out of the bottom. It looks like a framework and not a closed bubble.
If these figs are posed right next to the pod, It would appear that inside is going to be a tight fit.

I just seen a larger pic of the gun pod here, at jediinsider.com where you can see that the bubble is indeed enclosed with clear plastic and what appears to be a foot rest inside down low. That seat does look nicely detailed and comfey.I guess that a figure will in fact fit inside. Cudos to Hasbro for giving us a correctly sized gunpod. I wonder how long it will take for them to appear in another repack of the gunship?

Well with these newer scaled pods I think we're in need of a BRG!

Very true but I expect that Hasbro intends to use these new pods to push at least one more repaint of their current gunship. Any bets on which store gets the exclusive, this time?

If it's an Exclusive it doesn't matter because I'll never get it, I still haven't been able to get the recent Walmart one! :(   by the way I  HATE Exclusives if anyone was wondering, especially overpriced ones! ;D
