STAR WARS DISPLAY CASE WANTED
« on: April 12, 2014, 02:08:25 AM »
I am in my first attempts at collecting all of the original Star Wars action figures (loose) from Kenner. I would love to display these figures in a nice, large, themed display case. I have only seen one for sale around $500. Does anyone know where to get one cheaper or a good starting point for searching might be? Any help would be great.

About the cheapest and best looking display cases I have seen are made by IKEA. I am not sure they would have something in this loose option.

I think your best bet might be to make one yourself. I think I remember seeing the ones you are talking about and remember thinking they were a bit on the high side too.

have you looked at the Ikea Detolf cases? They run about $70 and will hold a lot of 3 3/4 figures

That's what I was thinking too Scott. I am thinking though he wants something only one action figure deep designed to hold the entire lot of vintage action figures. Something like this:

I think if I ever did decide to just sell it all I would have me one of these and have a vintage display. I could easily see something like this being created for vintage vehicles too.
