I hope you'll enjoy seeing them as much as i did makin em.
-
Sorry mates for the double post, try to erase the first one but didn't find the option, if someone could do this for me, i'll be gratefull
-
That looks pretty cool. You will have to show us more!
I killed that other thread for you.
-
Very nice. Time to take this to the front page!
-
wow! nice dio!! ...more please...

Hey guys i'm back to show you a little more of my diorama.
I'd like to thank you all for your comments and encouragement, it was an honor to get posted in the front page.
I would like to explain a bit more about my dioramas :
- first of all, i'll never create a diorama coopying exactely a scene from star wars. I prefer to imagine or invent a decor or a scene rather than copying but of course i always get some inspiration on the movies.
- the idea of a scene come to me itself, most of time, in my dreams, other times when i see a figure or a vehicule.
- next, i got to buy the figures and vehicule, costumize them ect... then i draw the scene, position the figures and the big part of the decor on it , find the material, and get to work
- i always put some action or moving action, to create some reality.
Anyway let's stop talking, here is the next dio i created
-
If you have any question about how made stuff, i'll be happy to answer.
-
Wow, looks great from what I can see. I would love some brighter pictures.
Seeing Obi burying that lightsaber was so like that Speederbike Charge scene where he took on Durge. Very cool and back to the front page.
-
These look great! Cool ideas for scenes and well-made. Can't wait to see more!
-
You did an execellent job on both dios mate, both have just enough action going on without over doing it and they also tell a story well done indeed.
Ron
-
Thanks ron, yeah i prefer to make the spectator being a part of the diorama by let him imagine the backround of the scene.
Here another projet i'm currently on, it's a big big big one.
I took a lot of photos for these one to explain you how i did it. If you have any question don't hesitate
-
How i made the space weird trees
-
The lianas : some cotton wires that i tangle betwen them and put some varnish to harden the whole thing after i gave the correct strucure
-
I put some mastic on the styrene that i have sculpted with the thermical saw, because the styrene react really badly to the spray paint
-
The house in ruins
-
Still the house and the floor
-
Then i did some sort of crystal stalagtite with creatures eggs on it
-
The first photo is effect i made to represent the effect that will have the speeder engines on the mud field
-
First base of black spray paint
-
The effect that makes the engines prpulsion to create more reality
-
That's all for now, got to paint now. Sorry for the multi posts, i really wantd to show you step by step my work.
-
That is awesome, awesome stuff!!

I agree, the attention to the smallest detail is really making this one pop. Like the swirling ground effects for the speederbike engines! Very nice. Off to the front page.
-
The floor
-
I am really enjoying this. Keep it coming. Off to share.
-
I started to paint the giant futuristic tree. Every part off the diorama could be separated for the transport and to make fotos
-
Wow. That is looking amazing.
-
Goin on painting
-
I still have to paint the building
-
Last pic, i'll try to take better shot for the last photos with a plain backround
-
Stunning work and the way you have done the crystals is awesome.
Ron

-
Fantastic work!
-
Thanks mates, while i finish the big dioramas here another hold one that i created and i just finished the wooden support.
I had the idea to create this dioramas after i drop an amethyst ( because i am a semi precious and minerals stone collector) so i decided to mix my two hobbie and here it is : a force crystals cave. Where i supposed some jedi using purple lightsaber have found their.
-
It,s dark in a cave so, this is really the way it should look like
-
Beautiful work!!
-
The dio is looking execellent but the light affects are just stunning.
Ron
-
Thanks guys, what is better than the natural color of the precious stone

Last post, if you have any questions, i'll be glad to answer. It was the biggest dio i ever done, i'll do smaller now, i'm in lack of place in my house
