YESS oh yes, that armoured Jedi looks badass. Fingers crossed I see a custom of this guy in the future!

Thank ya kindly Yr1977! If I ever have time I'd like to start a helmet sculpt on it.

Thanks Sjefke.

You're right about the HAMMER influence on those. Those films were a big part of my childhood. They were always one of the features on the weekend monster fest!

Oh oh.  Weekend Monster fest!
 ;D
Thank the Maker, I'm not the only one here who drove himself to see Star Wars, (Uh, episode 4) in the theatres.

No my friend you are not the only one. I didn't drive myself but I did pay for my own ticket. I'm now 46, yikes! And I have an infant!  :o

I had to get those IG-88s on the fp too. I really enjoy McQuarrie's take on those.

Hello all, back at it I am.  yosab

Still fleshing out the militaries of Episode 1. Last time we saw the droid armies of Mas Amedda, this time I've got some Mando Clone troopers.

Inspired by Ralph McQuarrie's original designs, this Clone Trooper is the meat and potatoes of the Mandalorian ground soldiers. These soldiers have been mass produced for several decades and are beginning  to show signs of genetic break-down in their skill levels. Soon the genetic pool will be refreshed, but for now the shear numbers of Mandalore's forces will easily cut down the Republic's Battle Droids.

I used the classic McQuarrie helmet design for the Mandalorian Ace Fighter Pilots. Also clones, the Mandalorian Aces' are some of the most dreaded warriors in the galaxy.

Wow, I think I can speak for all out OT guys when I say if we had seen something like this perhaps we would think of the prequels perhaps in a bit better light. Off to share.

Old-old-old stuff! Years ago I used to do what I called "Poorman's Customs" and was also dubbed "Virtual Customs" on RebelScum. This was when I was first learning to manipulate PhotoShop. I started them by creating MARVEL Star Wars characters and once that wound down continued on with other genres. I'm not going to go into any detail on characters, I'm just going to post them. Keep in mind this was about 5 years ago...

Thrawn Trilogy

Rukh

Captain Pellaeon

Joruus CBoath and Clone Luke

Thrawn

Thanks Bro!

More to come.

You can see that Thrawn in AF form, Remco (Mr. Black) is doing him and it's spot on!

Dark Lords Of The Sith was a fun series. There are a lot different ones, male and female, and some may recognize a few of these from my Dark Lords comic covers. (in the front side of this thread)
Again heavy emphasis on the old Universal and Hammer Horror stuff.

Wow, and I thought the last Thrawn Series you showed us couldn't get any better. Oh the pain of wanting all of these in action figure format. Off to share again!
