I thought it might be nice to have a thread for non star wars purchases and I will start off with four Hasbro items I picked up today that are not Star Wars but might become Star WArs custom fodder.
The iron man 2 war machine armor and a clearance Joe Roadblock fig.
The Iron Man 2 deep dive armor and a clearance Joe Charbroil fig.
Also, I picked up these two Non Hasbro T-Shirts at a local Walmart.

I just grabbed Earth 2 robin and Ynmasked Wolverine today. Got the last of the latest MU wave this weekend (Cap and Bucky)

Picked up the iron man 2 iron monger and phase 1 armor yesterday along with another clearance isle Avatar Amp suit.

would love to get my hands on one of those AMP suits but have yet to see them over here :(

Found a generic "space action toy" line at a Target close to my jobsite. For $2, I figured they had some potential. Their parts breakdown seems to be like the pre-25th anniv Joes. I'll try and get pics taken and posted tomorrow.
I also scored another one of those blue The CORPS! "beach raider" hovercraft. This one will likely end up an AAC-1 from Battlefront. Now I need a pair of Hailfire Droid missile boxes and their mount...
I also bought a new computer that arrived today.

I got the amp suit a while back on clearence and am really glad I did, I know GI Joe has some mechs coming out but I have to say they look like ficher price toys in comparison.
I also took advantage of teh clearence to get a bunch of Na'vi for toxie (@ $2.50 each).
Got 1940's Cap and bucky.

Got the same selection at the Big Lotts near me as well, they had v2 25th anni Zartan, scarlett, matt tracker, airborne, cobra paraviper and cobra flint for $4 each. Think we'll see Rise of Cobra figures from them down the road?

Found a Big Lots about 20 miles off-site today. They had FIVE Joes - 2x Para-Vipers, an Eel, a "Halo Scarlett," and a Sgt Airborne. Payday is Friday, so if they are still there over the weekend, they will be MINE! Plus, there's two more BL's in the same direction, a bit further out but convenient to the Toys R Us I need to visit...

Iron Man Hall of Armor Target exclusive (Which is more movie accurate).

Iron Man Animated madrin (Kind of crappy but a decent mold).

picked up this iron man 1 Iron Monger fig at tru yesterday for $10.99
it is rather large and quite articulated. My plan is to cut out the Jebidia fig and insert some kind of clone body. Perhaps I can resculpt the head a bit.

THat Iron Monger is Ironicly better scaled for the Smaller figs than it was for the line it came with. Its kind of funny when you think about it.

I always thought about picking this Iron Monger figure, but never found it at a price I was willing to pay.

Not a Hasbro item. I picked up this Iron Maiden shirt today at of all places, a walmart. I will add it to my Maiden shirt collection.

Awesome shirt! At Walmart? Maiden? Times they are a changin'. I have that shirt but the logo is much bigger covering the entire front. Good find!

Over the past 6-8 weeks:
A leak-detector flashlight from AutoZone - it has a UV head. Yes - I now have a UV light for photography.
Neon orange and neon yellow paints. To go with the above, natch.
Caught a bunch of craft paints on sale at a semi-local WalMart - 2oz bottles for 50 cents and 8oz bottles for $1.
Have a trial-size (14oz bottles) of Smooth-On 321 resin coming, along with fleshtone tint and ease-release spray.
Am putting together an order for another 5 molds of sci-fi details - that will likely be placed Monday.
Ordered some new mechanical casting bits from itarsworkshop.com - technically, they won;t be available until after Origins, but I think Itar is getting mine in the mail to me today. If so, youbetcha they'll be painted and reviewed in short order after I get them.
Been picking up ROC/GI Joe vehicles - an Ice Dagger, three more Cobra Gunships, and a Cobra Mantis.
Picked up two more of the Beach Assault hovercraft like the one I repainted and entered in the vehicle contest last year.
Picked up another paper model from the same line as the landing pad I showed off. I haven't finished that one yet. :-[ I'm seriously considering stopping work on it as a paper model and using it as the decoration/skin for foamcore sections. Partly, that is a mechanical consideration you will see when I write my review of the model. In the meantime, I added a bunker and wall set. They are designed as solid boxes rather than as hollow shells.
Ordered a sling and brass-catcher for my rifle, and a G3 ammo pouch just because it is in flecktarn and comes with an ALICE clip adapter. :D

Just got back from Graspop Metal Meeting and it was AWESOME! I bought Kiss,Slayer and Channel Zero shirts and a signed picture of Tommy Thayer from Kiss which included 3 plectrums :D

Picked up TRU exclusive G.I.Joe Quick Kick. Now I need Spirit Iron Knife, but he is very hard to find. If anyone wants to trade Spirit for Quick Kick that would make my day. Thanks.

I grabbed POC wave 2 Destro and Jungle VIper yesterday. Cool figs. I also grabbed zartan and while cool he isn't up to par with the first two.

I finally picked up the TRU excl. Spirit Iron Knife. I got Dusty and Recondo too. Today I ordered two 7" figures. King Lionidas from 300 and Perseus from Clash of the Titans. You can swap their heads so you can have a fully armored Lionidas, I can't wait to get them.

Since it's so hard to find Star Wars stuff lately, and GI-Joe come to think of it, I've been buying video game action figures. The whole Ratchet and Clank series is cool, Ninja Gaiden, Assassin's Creed, and God of War is some of the stuff i've bought in the last few months. TRU has been having problems stocking Star Wars, but they have been stocking older hard to find stuff lately. Stuff from 300, Legacy of Kain, God of War III, and some older Neca figures have been popping up in my part of the world. Loving it.

Picked up a 3 3/4" Lion-O from the new reimagined Thundercats series running on Cartoon Network. It's pretty cool. Nicely articulated w/ three accessories (Sword of Omens long, SoO short and Claw Shield). I'll pick up the rest of the 'cats when able. They also have a line of larger (8"?) figs in new style as well as old school.

Oh snap! I didn't hear about these even coming out! I'll have to swing by the toy stores tomorrow and see if I can find these. How's the articulation on them? The detail, paint apps, etc?
