Just wanted to show some of my recent custom action figures for all to enjoy :)
First pic: My first version of a TOR Sith warrior. Id like to make a second on a smaller body in the future. Made from a GI Joe ripcord body and a night adder head.
Second Pic: A group shot of some of my Mandalorians. Mostly all just repaints, some kitbashing and minimal sculpting.
Third pic: My most recent Mandalorian custom. Evo trooper body, concept boba fett head, resolute destro mechanical arm with some joint modding.
Fourth Pic: Custom Arc trooper echo based on a concept image of him with cybernetic arms and specialized arc trooper armor.
-

I challenged myself to kitbash and paint up a custom Jedi general for my custom ARF trooper squad.
Here's the outcome!
Body/legs/upper arm - Some Mace Windu I had a spare of
Forearms - Cobra Commander
Head - A random GI joe head from my fodder draw
Hands - Clone trooper hands
Custom made lightsaber also
-
Nice General. Have a name? Off to share on the front page.

Jedi Master Mestah Kagesheke! Thanks man I appreciate that alot

Great character, I would love to read a book about him. Hope he survives Order 66. Once again welcome!

Great character, I would love to read a book about him. Hope he survives Order 66. Once again welcome!
Thanks! I am working on a story for him right now actually. I think when order 66 is executed, his clone commander will defect and together they will have to kill the men they fought and bled with through the clone wars. Thanks for the warm welcome!
-
I decided to upgrade my Old Republic Sith Warrior to be on a more accurate body.
The ornate details on this Cobra Commander torso work well for this character and I am much happier with this updated version!
-
I can see how you would be happier with the update. The new body works really well for the Sith Warrior. Nice job on this!

Very nice.
Those Joe figures make great fodder.
I'm sure that statement ticks off the Joe collectors, but I'll bet they use Star Wars figures as their fodder.

That's forsure! Alot of Joe legs, arms, bodies work really well together when you kitbash them to make star wars characters like ol' sithy here. I also collect joes but I wont hesitate to slice up my fodder ones for star wars customs!

Here we have the latest custom Female Mandalorian warrior to be added to my personal collection.
All the components were there so it was a simple recipe.
I used a Gi Joe scarlet body and a concept Boba Fett helmet.
The weapon is also customized and is kit bash of 3 or so guns.
I shortened the stock, added a scope and a barrel with a muzzle so it can double as an assault rifle or a medium range sniper.
I went for a simple colour scheme for now. I might revisit her later an add some more colour to her helmet or arms to compliment the deco on the gun later.
-
Cool Female Mandalorian figure!

Added a custom Darth Zannah to my collection
I have been wanting to make this feisty female for a while and actually started a first version using a Jaina Solo body, which is now being used for another Sith Lady (stay tuned) but I definitely like this body alot more for her, although I know I am not the first to use it.
Baroness body
Scarlet head
Darth Maul Lightsaber
I kept the hair red for now, that is subject to chance once I do another paint purchase.

Nice, off to share.

Maybe a hair color change for Zannah... but that Mando's color scheme is spot on. Great the way it is!

Yeah at the bottom of the zannahs post I mentioned her hair is subject to change, just need to do a paint run haha! Thanks man!
-
Really nice job on the female Mando! The use of the Scarlet body works really well. Your Darth Zannah looks good, though I think her hair is supposed to be blonde (maybe strawberry blonde).

Thanks! Yeah it worked surprisingly well!
Zannah is definitely not a redhead, I will fix that up when I revisit her after my next paint haul, I didnt have the correct colour to do her hair this go round

Custom Outer Rim weapons dealer.
He lost his right arm for double crossing the Hutts and his left from double crossing the Black Sun.
Some people never learn.
Enjoy!

I finished up this custom bounty hunter. I used some marvel universe lower legs and cut them down to fit better. Head is a snake eyes head, but I cut off the visor, flipped it and put it over the mouth for sort of a Darth malak look.
-
Looks good - a lot of extra work to get the look just right. Nice job!

Thankyou! I definitely wanted to use them on this guy no matter what

Very cool figure! Are those leather spats removable or are they basically the lower leg of Captain America? Because I would so like to use them as well.

Another custom Mandalorian to add to the collection!
For this one the recipe goes;
Base: GI Joe Roadblock
Helmet: Clone Wars Death Watch Mandalorian
Gauntlets: 3.75" some Spider-man accessories
Jet pack: Not sure, was in my fodder bin. It's a bit bigger than most, which works well for this base
Rifle: Modified Marvel Universe Cable gun
Pistol: Star Wars Jaster Mereel Pistol
Shoulder Pads: Clone Wars Mace Windu (Clone helmet version)

That looks awesome! great work!
-
I agree, he looks fantastic. Off to share.
-
Amazing! i can imagine him as the type of Mando that'd go headfirst into a gunfight even with just his pajamas on and his bare hands, maybe just grab the buy'ce first. Then once the battle's over, that's when he'd get his gear and bring the battle back to the enemy's base.

Spot on! I had a vision of him being a huge, 7 foot monster of a man that can easily beat skulls in with his fists!
-
Finished up Tor Vizsla to add to my Mando shelf. I plan to make him an unhelmeted head in the future too. Looks great next to Montross and Jaster Mereel.
-
Awesome. Poor Jaster, He just pales in comparison to the other two. Haha.

Thanks! Yeah I have to agree, he definitely doesn't look as cool as Montross and I think I prefer my custom Tor to him as well.

The shoulder armour is also removable.
Torso/Arms: Ice viper
Legs: Snake eyes paris pursuit
Head: Snake eyes with the visor removed
Mask: Storm Shadow (I think)
Armour: Mace windu and some 3.75" spiderman figure

Finally finished up this manipulative Sith lady we all know as Darth Traya.
I am way beyond stoked on how she turned out and I love the fact I could get her sabers to "float" around her via the force. They are removable too. I totally sculpted her headdress and hair also.
Very simple recipe
Body: Jaina Solo
Head: GI Joe baroness with the hair removed

The Mandalorian Tracer is a specialised unit in the Mandalorian ranks that is an absolute beast when it comes to tracking high value targets and infiltrating strategic points to gather Intel. These sneaky units sacrifice some armour and firepower for lightweight body armour and multi tool harnesses that allows them to sneak around quickly and unheard all while having a plethora of tools and gadgets at their disposal. If you ever find yourself face to face with a Mandalorian tracer, you're already dead.
Head: Gi joe beach head
Body/arms: Gi joe beach head
Legs: Gi joe alley viper
Helmet: Jango fett
Rifle:: Gi joe Ice viper
Harness: Gi Joe snake eyes

Another cool side Character from Jango Fett Open Seasons; A Mandalorian known as Myles that met his end at the hand of a Jedi when they attacked a Mandalorian camp. He was another good friend of Jango and I really liked his colour scheme (although different pages of the comic conflicted with itself on exactly what it is) So I went with a metallic blue and cyan. I hope you guys dig him!

I finished up this Mandalorian last night.
I went for an urban look with the big combat boots and the harness with the big back pack.
I really like that he's sleeveless but has these bit heavy duty gauntlets. A bit impractical but hey, it looks cool!

Finished up my Twi'lek smuggler.
Shaddi'lassan is a Twi'lek smuggler. She was picked up at a young age by pirates that stopped over in Ryloth just before the end of the clone wars. She was trained by them and worked as their 'bait' to lure in unsuspecting travellers to her aid, where the rest of the Pirates would mob them and hock their shit. When she was 22 Shaddi had saved up enough credits from her tiny cut of their raids to buy her own ship and left the pirate crew behind. She now spends her time smuggling goods back and forward for the Hutts making what money she can and running supplies into Ryloth trying to help her own people as much as she can.

Mandalore the Merciless and his elite Rancor Tooth Collective.
Finished up this fun little project last week.
Recipe;
Mandalore;
Base: Darth Malgus
Head: Sculpted over Mace Windu head
Glaive: Kitbashed random pieces and some sculpting
Rancor Tooth troopers;
GI Joe Ripcord Accelerator suit

I like! Actually this is a great set of figures and a good repurposing of GI Joe's. I do like that accelerator armor. The red elements make it pop - good eye. Really sharp!

Next custom from my bench is a Mythos inspired Obi Wan Kenobi.
Quite an easy custom to make, until you get to the back pack.
I kitbashed the straps from one back pack to another strapless one for the main part of the bag.
The sleeve for the rifle is a piece of plastic glued down.
The rolled up bantha fur sleeping bag is a piece of fabric rolled up, glued and painted.
The straps holding the sleeping bag to the bottom of the back pack are little strips of plastic glued on and painted.
I'm very happy with how this one turned out. I was throwing around the idea of making this one for a while and I'm glad I finally pulled the trigger and went for it.
