I will accept that as I know where your going with it,

There were more than 1 Hoth playset but this one is from the Imperial Attack Base

A guy called JMan on joecustoms makes sturdy replacement cards, he recently did the entire cobra missile base, and it is rad.

Yep, AT-AT drivers gun,

I am also very anti Repo,  I don't mind collectors wanting to replace items, I HATE sellers passing them off as genuine.

Anti-repo? Yeah, I guess we all share the same feeling  ;D. Anti-repro in most cases too, though. That is indeed a serious crime in our little corner of the galaxy  >:(. I had a bad experience once with a POTF R2-D2 with Pop-Up Saber, which came with a repro saber. The seller stated it was 100% genuine and from his childhood collection. Now, I don't mind a repro Stormtrooper or Han Solo blaster, but unique items like the Ewok weapons, Amanaman's staff, R2's saber etc. have to be 100% original.

Perhaps you've heard of this site, perhaps not, but it's practically a Holy Bible for me: http://www.loresdelsith.net/rincon/armeria/index2.htm

Check it out, if you haven't already and broaden your knowledge of the vintage accessories.

Yes indeed, I used that site often in my early days. Getting familiar with the differences is key and perhaps we should start a new topic on the subject matter, It could be advantageous to start a debate or offer info and in-site.

And Yes it was Bossks gun

well, technically, I misspoke, Jman's stuff isn't really repro, its stand in.  Instead of cheap flimsy cardboard, his is more art board with high res images...immediately distinguisable from the original crap.  His missile base got him into a  lot of trouble since an original can easily run a grand on EBay and he sold high res ones for 70 bucks, but like I said, once you see one, you'd never mistake it for the crap hasbro was selling in the early 80's, lol.

Its more for enthusiasts than collectors...so don't worry, you can still pay outrageous prices for flimsly cardboard to your heart's content, :)

I.... figured as much  ;) Looks like some sort of antenna for a vehicle. Maybe from a Mini-Rig? Although I couldn't tell which one, if so.
