Custom Wood Toys
« on: March 26, 2009, 07:34:12 AM »

Here is one of my hobbies that I enjoy working on. Since I got a wood lathe in February of last year, I have made a ton of these guys, including some Star wars characters as you can see above. They are fun to make, nice to display, and provide just as much enjoyment as Hasbro Star Wars figures for a lot lower price! At least for me anyway.
If anyone wants to check out some more of these, there are more pictures posted on my blog: http://littlewoodenguys.blogspot.com/

Wow. That looks great. I may have to put in an order for an AT-AT driver. Neat items.

just spent a bit of time looking at your wooden toys blog. Great stuff. You sure know what you are doing with that lathe.

Wow James, those turned out really good! You have some talent with the paint brush, that's for sure.

Check out the front page for a few more wooden dolls. Don't think they are as nice as yours though James.

Those are pretty cool though. I like to see original Star Wars creations made by the fans. Thanks for posting those!

This is great! I love these and my wife thought they were very cool.

Why go through life base fig, when you can customize?
