Title: The Vintage Collection 2012 Looking Forward
Post by: Clonehead on September 20, 2011, 05:07:41 PM
Found these pics at jedidefender.com today of Ric Olie and a generic Naboo Pilot from the upcoming Episode 1 wave to be released sometime next year.

Thanks, Jedidefender, for these pics.

I think that the sculpts and accessories for these two look excellent and would make for some great custom fodder.

Figures look good, but I'd like more differences between them than just headsculpts. lvva

this wave isnt supposed to hit until next month but I was reading a report at scum today about an Arizona member who had already found em at retail.
Whats more is the sticker on the front for next year's promotion involving possibly winning a life sized darth maul statue signed by George Lucas himself and more.

Interestingly enough, as can be seen in this pic of a couple of the wave's figures, is the form that is folded up in the bottom of the blister under the figure. That doesn't look to me like a Prototype fett redemption form but must be one for this new promo. So that means that the fett redemption forms were offered in only two waves of figure packages, the first of which was a very short-lived wave on the pegs. We will see when one of us finds them.

thanks to rebelscum.com for this image

Oh, cool.  They're even taking Vos' small, few second part from TPM to the next level by making a fig.  Probably figure it will sell since he's been in the CW, and is a character the kids may know.

If anyone really needs 2011 Prototype Fett redemption Forms, I have 8 available in my Swap Shop.
I also have an additional 2 forms with the required 5 UPCs each available as well.

Hit me up! :)

Found this on Sandtroopers.com of the new vintage Odd Ball:

I also found this on Jedidefender.com, carded pics of waves 3 and 4:
http://www.jedidefender.com/newspro/fullnews.cgi?newsid1331796588,75783,

Is it just me, or does the helmet look a bit too big on the body of the 501st legion trooper?

Out of the new VC waves coming out the only figure that's got me salivating is Kithaba and possibly Aayla Secura (she's custom heaven there).  Dr. Evazan is another one i'll get as well...maybe even 2...1 to customize and another to have roughing up some poor innocent fool in my diorama.

I do know he is supposed to re-release. Not sure, but you might want to check out the Toy Fair Presenation Slides in our Image Gallery.
