Nice set (and a rather large on at that) of customs here. The weathering on the troopers is excellent and the diorama is a great way to display them. Welcome to the 'yards.

That's some great paint work there. Off to share this one on our front pages.

Apologies in advance for all the threads I've started lately, but I know they are technically "subsections" if you will. With that aside, here are all my custom figures... keep in mind the scale for these figures is 7-8" - the dioramas are huge.
Starting with my first: Shaman predator. He was a Chinese-knock off. As such, I customized him.
"Robes": From Gears of War Kantus Figure. Heavily modified.
Spear/staff: Made from shishkabob skewers and original parts from Staff... the original was too whimpy and fragile.
I also repainted the figure from head crest to toe claws.

Here is a custom Colonial Marine that I made and a Hallway diorama to match him.
Neca Nathan Drake head
Neca Pvt. Hudson Body
Gloved hands - From Y-W Commando and my fodder box
Decals and sculpted items applied by me (such as holster and a few ammo pouches)

Simple repaint of a wonderful sculpt. This is the "Engineer" from Prometheus. I did a black/silver wash. All the sculpt was there - Neca just didn't use good paints apps to bring it out.

This is a huge project... in terms of acquiring the necessary figures (remember - basic figures cost about $30-40 PER figure on ebay after market)...
Concept:

Original Predalien Figure:

What I did: boiled and popped fodder alien head from body. Removed head and hands from Predalien. Carefully used a soldering iron to "melt/mold" the neck joint so that the Predalien head would function with fodder alien body. COMPLETELY hand re-painted from banana head to clawed feet. VERY pleased with end result.
Alien Queen Diorama:

Egg sack was made with ceran wrap and modge podge... I basically made a paper mache technique around a wire frame skeleton.
Weyland-Yutanni Heavy Weapons Commando:

I handmade the "swing arm" and the wires leading to the backpack with some spare headphone audio jacks and wires... I also added the provided decals.
"Twinblade" my Samurai-esque Predator. He was stranded on Earth... stayed there for a few centuries. Was originally known as the "Oni of Yamatai."

Imperial Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) Trooper. CT-4278 was a Veteran of the Clone Wars who served as a Sapper for the majority of the war. With his experience and training, he serves the Empire as an EOD expert. He has defused thousands of bombs in his lifetime and continues to do so into the Imperial era.

Believe it or not, that's not even half of my AvP stuff. However! I am inclined to agree with you about the Galactic Marine helmet...because an older comic book had explosive expert troopers of the Empire using a similar helmet design.

Revamped/Reimagined "Fugitive Predator" - this is my take on a future ancestor of the same character, wearing similar armor.

"Stranded" Predator - a mix match of several different figures, completely repainted from head to toe with hand-sculpted dreadlocks.

A more comic-book accurate version of my favorite Preadtor, Ahab - from the comic book Series Life and Death/Fire and Stone. Repainted face/sculpted additional facial mandibles.

Not much of being customs, but I love this set.
I dry brushed the death troopers with Silver to bring out detail. DLT heavy rifle is a custom made weapon.

These are very nice pics! I like that squad of Rebel forces! And your custom DLT looks very awesome, too!
Did you also add some blue paint apps to your Death Troopers' helmets?

I'm glad you approve of the Rebels. :-) I haven't completed the squad quite yet.
I did not apply blue, that's just reflections from my couch lol. I did repaint the green in their visors to be a more vibrant green.

Oh yeah, love the Deathtroopers.

Thank you. I like to think the few Jedi who survived Order 66 would fight on with the Rebel Alliance. Quinlan Voss is uniquely qualified to do what it takes to survive.

Your battle tested Stormtrooper Sharpshooter looks amazing.
I like the weathering and the pieces of fabric.
I also like your DLT-19D heavy blaster rifle.
It would be great if you could give us a short tutorial on how to make an accurate DLT-19D. I would like to make on for my imperial army collection.

Quite simple, really! Take a standard DLT rifle, clip off the scope looking things (2 of them) on the bottom of a clone trooper rifle (DC-15). Affix them with super glue to the correct position on the rifle. Then build a scope from whatever parts you can from cut up blasters. Melt plastic sprue from a model kit and stretch it to get "wires." Affix to the appropriate locations on the gun with super glue. Allow all to dry. Dry brush with silver acrylic paint. Viola!

Ah, that explains it! I just saw the translation for it is just "sniper", but the German army has different classes of long distance/hidden privates.
The more I look at it the more I celebrate it! I'm extremely happy you joined our little forum here! Your customs are first class!
-
I agree with what I have read from other Yarders, this is one phenomenal figure. Just all around great work with paint and soft goods. Thanks for sharing your recipe and description for that rifle too.
Of course I am going to go share this on the pages.
-
I concur. The weathering and soft goods are a most excellent touch on this figure. He turned out extremely well. Kudos!
-
Thanks for all the kind words, folks!
I greatly appreciate the kind feedback.

The saboteur is an excellent combination of parts and turned out really well - would totally fit the partisans. Apma as a rebel captain? I like it!
-
I like all three of this last few figures. The sharpshooter in brilliant, such a good use of soft goods. He's like a combo of Star Wars and Mad Max, has that desert survivor vibe. The saboteur has a lot of personality, I'd love to see an animated version of him. Crazy good work all around.

We have examples of Mandalorians joining the Empire and Rebels and Apma just has such a good facial sculpt, I couldn't pass on it. I added some battle scars and did a better repaint of the sculpt to bring out detail.
My story for him is after training the clones during the Clone Wars, his family was wiped out by the Empire during the events on Mandalore (during Rebels) as such, he employed his superior Mandalorian training in the Rebel Alliance. He recruits skilled soldiers and special forces operators in his unit.

In doing research, I made a tremendous mistake. Niner is the only one with this color armor. As such, I changed Fi's armor to the appropriate color. Additionally, if you don't mind editing the announcement post I would appreciate it! Thanks as always, Tamer.

Ron
-
I will go swap out the images and reload on our FB Page. And yeah, I thought the black color scheme worked ok too.
-
Thanks for the praise. I guess I wanted to have each commando have their own appearance. I took inspiration from Delta Squad's armor. There isn't much to go by, because the books never really show you precise armor colors beyond flat white and black stealth armor.
I wanted to go with the individual armor colors because this was during the mid point of the war. I'm not sure if phase II clone armor had been distributed or not. I also don't think the commando armor changed much during the war appearance wise, but more technology wise. As it had a slight vulnerability to EMP during the opening months of the war.
The only one with a confirmed photograph of armor color is Niner - who wore the dark blue/black armor.
Hasbro messed up and packaged Niner as Fi. Fi doesn't have the four rank dots on his chest, but Niner does.
To me it only made sense to give Fi red, because he is the Medic/Sniper for the team. ()rr
-
I really enjoyed the video game, actually sent it off to another Shipyarder here many years ago who never returned it. I need to go get me another copy of it. I liked the books too. I want to say there was a black, red, green and yellow Trooper.

Yes.
Boss (who you play as) had orange markings similar to Niner. Sev was a blood spattered red design, Fixer was green, and Scorch was Black/Yellow.
-
Yeah, it has been awhile. Great game though. Man if ever there was a game that needed a version two!
-
It's great to see how much detail is actually hidden in those TLC Republic Commandos...you've done a tremendous job on thise three repaints, mate! And you're extremely throrough with your research and execution. Love the choice of colors and level of detail & accuracy! That's elite custom work here!
I also plan on doing a few Republic Commando customs - HALO figures might be a useful source for parts and also some resin casts I made.
Looking forward to seeing you completing Omega-Squad!
Your pictures look stunning to the closest shot - the detail is just excellent!
Thanks for sharing! Again, I'm glad you joined us on here! It's good to have you.
- Philipp
P.S.: Fi looks awesome to the top! Love the red paint apps on his armour! Also the gattling gun looks so cool! Did you fill the holes with modeling clay? And which color(s) did you use for the weathing of the RCs?
-
Really nice job on the Commandos! The color choices are excellent and the weathering is brilliant. You've done your homework and your doing a great job executing your vision on these.

Clone Commander Jax (CC-4231) specialized in being proficient with BARC Speeders from the first Battle of Geonosis. He specializes in reconnaissance and combat skirmishes. Jax is Commander of the 444th Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion. The unit is a fast and mobilized armored terrestrial reconnaissance battalion of the Grand Army of the Republic.
The 444th LAV platoon consists of 4 vehicles usually divided into Alpha section and Bravo section. The platoon commander will control one section and also be the vehicle commander (VC) of one of the LAVs and the platoon sergeant will control the other section as well as be VC.

Great job with Jax!

I agree, I really like that bucket style too. Looks so much tougher than a regular clone imo. Salecumi or something along those lines?

Agreed! Excellent job on Jax and Fordo! I'm very glad you finally got one for an affordable price! Man, I love those BARC Troopers! The weathering looks superb - especially on the left forearm! 10/10
It's quite imoressive how those scratches add to the realism of (Clone) Troopers in particular. Certainly don't wanna have 'em on cars, but they look great on plastic figures.
Thanks for sharing those amazing pics! It's great to see you enjoy the hobby so much!

I second what Philipp said! The blade cuts really add to the authenticity of the character. Great eye!

I did a little clever tweaking with Fordo. Pleased with the results of giving my own spin on the phase II armor appearance. This time around, I did some modding to his belt/holsters and the wrist piece, which now features an electro dart component. I will soon equip him with a Westar ARC trooper blaster rifle as his main weapon.

Excellent work on your Captain Fordo, mate! His modified armour looks awesome - really like that mod on his left forearm! The dart adds some more coolness to him! Not sure which modification you did on the belt/holsters though...did you cut some parts off the holsters so that the blasters go deeper into them?

Just added a second holster. His phase II armor only has one holster for some reason? I know it was like that in the show as well, but it never made much sense to me considering he's always duel-wielded.
-
Well, I should've noticed that - especially because I currently work on TVC Fordo...pretty embarassing.
On the other hand it speaks for your excellent job! Your mod is that brilliant that I didn't even detect it. Looks awesome and now your Captain Fordo is definitely one unique masterpiece of a kind!
- Philipp

You are taking a great figure and making him even greater. Love that wrist dart blaster.
Off to share on the front pages.

I know you might be crunched for time, why not consider the audio-books? That's the only way I "read" anymore... ;D

Fordo turned out really excellently! And Darman looks spot on. Your commando squad is shaping up beautifully! The weathering on these figures is brilliant.
-
I just love your custom project of the Old Republic/Clone Wars era! Darman looks excellent! You did an amazing job on the painting and weathering! I really like the initial design of Omega Squad!
Now, the squad is almost complete! When I looked online for pictures of them I could hardly find anything except for your reference of Republic Commando Targets.
And I wonder how Atin is going to look like. The only other reference is this one here on the forums of rebelscum:
https://forum.rebelscum.com/showthread.php?t=1072651&page=7
So are you going to give Atin a green design, too?
And to be honest, I think your Suqad looks better. Definitely an improvment! I hope Hasbro will give us more RCs. By the way tunghori listed the Clone Wars Boss for $12.99 yesterday. You could also send him a message and ask if he got the realistic style TLC/SOTDS commandos. You never know what he still got under his counter.
Also yesterday a loose set of Delta Squad from 2010 was sold for 55€ on ebay.

I have the audible app, but think I am up to pay for it. Might be a good idea if I would use it enough. I will think on it.

Thank you, Starchaser! This has been a very fun project and I can't wait to have it all wrapped up. Each commando does feel like their own person and I'm happy I accomplished that!

Thanks for the feedback as always, Phillip! I'm not sure how I'll handle Atin just yet but I do have some ideas. I'll also be starting a Republic Gunship project soon too. My vintage collection bird is going to have a fully crewed ship with amazing details. My vintage collection of pilots arrives today and hopefully I'll have my bird here by the weekend.
-
Holy smokes, so you're going to customize your TVC Republic Gunship?! :o That's gonna be daggone!
Can't express how excited I am for this!

Yes - I plan a number of upgrades: weathering, enhanced crew bay, with grab handles for troopers to latch onto. I'll also consider some other ideas I'm thinking of. This gunship is going to be decked to the nines... I'm just waiting for the seller to ship. It's been in pre-shipment for 48 hours.
-
Man, if you modify it, it will become the most excellent LAAT out there! Take your time on that and don't stress yourself with price/value. It'll be priceless once you're done. Awesome announcement!

That's the ideal, Philipp! It's meant to become a one of a kind piece. I want to get it as close to the authentic vehicle as possible...
With that in mind, please enjoy this cross-section!
-
Brilliant those cross-sections truly are! I got the book and have already spent hours looking at all the details! Yes, I'm most certain your take on it will be definitive!
Speaking about size and accuracy this is probably the best version we got from Hasbro. But I want them to make a new one - even bigger and more accurate - they can go ahead and launch it as the next HasLab project. I'd be in!
-
Just a conceptual idea I came up with...

So if I can win the bid, I've found my next project.
Behold, the IG-227 Hailfire Droid.

Pretty nice. I hope we see some of those Sep Droids make a store comeback when TCW starts off again.

Believe it or not, these guys have zero screentime in TCW.

Very cool! I wish you good luck for the auction! I also saw the 2003 Hailfire Droid for $24.99 buy-it-now on ebay.com. This Clone Wars version and first release of the Hailfire is actually my favorite. They are all hard to find here in Germany. I own two of them: CW and TSC release. But I’ve never seen this TCW Version in the wild (online included) here. It’s a nice coincidence that I was thinking of a repaint of this Droid a day before you posted this. Can’t wait to see what you’re going to do with it. You might wanna pick up that aforementioned CW version, too. I think 25 bucks is a fair price for this rare vehicle.

I also found the Republic Fighter Tank for the same price point.

Sounds great! Did you get the TX-130 then? (I do hope so!) How awesome would it be to see you customize that tank? It’s actually my favorite ground vehicle of the GAR. Battlefront II has had quite an impact on me...

I did manage to get my first battle droid today.

Darman Skirata turned out great. I like the weathering.
I can't wait to see your custom Gunship.

I really like your clone trooper stretcher concept, you could totally do more with that. I'll be interested to see what you do with the Hail fire (assuming you get it).

Eventually I want a clone medic. Just need to figure out the best figure for that role. I did manage to get the Hailfire Droid though!
-
Excellent! I watched that auction and was very happy to see this morning that nobody else bid with you. Sometimes it’s odd how many people bid on one item and sometimes nobody is. 30 bucks is a good deal for this rare version of the Hailfire!
Also the Super Battle Droid is a great one - time to give him a repaint/weathering/scratching.
Man, I really enjoy following your thread here!

Glad you do! I should be getting my final commando figure in today. I really hope my boil and pop method will work to swap out the legs. Having a fully articulated commando squad is something I've never had until now. I'm also really shocked nobody else bid on the Hailfire Droid. Are they not popular?

Glad you got the Hailfire. Congratulations on that. I always thought the Airborne trooper should actually be a medic trooper, but that's just me.

That's certainly not a bad idea. I'll have to find a reasonably priced one in the future. So far, I haven't had much luck locating one just yet.
-
Very nice. I like this squad. Off to share.
-
To no surprise Atin turned out excellently to complete the Squad! I’m very happy to see that the leg-swap actually worked out. That’s actually a real game changer! Thank you so much for sharing this milestone!
Omega Sqaud looks even more fantastic being complete now.
Looking at all your incredible projects so far leaves me pretty speechless. Can’t wait to see what you’re up to next! And yes, the Hailfire is pretty rare no matter which version. If I had gotten the TSC version loose a second time for 15€ I might’ve customized it, too. But it was pick-up only in the far north (Hamburg) and the seller didn’t even reply.
So I’ll dedocate my time to my AT-RT, a BARC Speeder and some Jawa action next...
Have a good one! Your collection is truly amazing!

Thank you for the kind words, man.
I'll say good news and let you know AT-RTs are plentiful here thankfully. I find ebay listings for them commonly. Which BARC speeder do you want to get?
-
That’s good news for us! I prepared the ROTS AT-RT to be painted black and started painting my second NR-N99 Tank Droid. But I messed up the metallic with a grey dry-brush...well, need to paint it black again, but will share pictures before. I got two walkers to repaint and three ROTS Speeder Bikes. I know the TAC BARC Speeder is nicer, but I start with the cheaper one. I can send you pictures if you want. I feel bad for having collected a pile of vehicles to be completed/modified/repainted by now.

Unit Title: R4-S1
Affiliation: Galactic Republic
Type: Modified Astromech
Role: Infiltration Droid
With resources stretched thin due to the Clone Wars, the Republic Strategic Intelligence Service (RSIS) employs the use of numerous spies and intelligence gathering means. R4-S1 is retrofitted with the most advanced subterfuge equipment and programming. R4-S1 infiltrates locations that Clone Commandos, ARC Troopers, or Shadow Troopers can not. He is equipped with hologram projectors and scrambling technology to make it past even the most secure Separatist facilities.

Unfortunately not, these are troopers I procured from aliexpress for cheap. I bought a whole lot for one single trooper costs on ebay.

That's a great looking squad. It's a clever idea to build a squad around those figures from the Republic Elite set.

I'd like to think of them being Clone Troopers who have shown potential for the ARC trooper program and Captain Fordo is in charge of their field training and command.

That works for me:)

Sorry for the late reply, man. I'm glad you received good quality from AliExpress! Those buckets look actually quite accurate! Those Mandalorian troopers are quite rare, which makes me even happier that you could secure four of them! Do you think they're original Hasbro? Even if not they seem to be of good quality!
I also like the Deck Officer and that modded Astromech Droid! Is that a taser addon? The Jedi, straps and backpacks on the Clones look awesome as well! Decent dry-brush on that gattling gun!
That wounded trooper is another good idea! With all media we might forget how bloody war really is. FialaFernbrugg depicted this topic with an older custom:
http://www.imperialshipyards.net/SMF/index.php?topic=1624.360
This might inspire you for your planned Clone Medic as well...
Not to forget his display stands for Delta and Omega Squad:

Awesome work on the cannon of Republic Commando! Soon, you'll have recreated the entire game in 1/18 scale!
Much respect & thanks for sharing!

I don't think they are Hasbro original. They are pretty decent quality. I bought 5 and only 1 was questionable. The joints were a bit loose on the questionable one.
-
Thank you. That's good to know! I'm sure you can get a partial refund if the quality of one unit is lacking. I might order some of them, too. The torso of my TSC 5th Fleet Security Trooper has yellowed quite a bit which is a true pain in the neck...excellent squad of troopers there! I love high quality bootlegs to customize - no regrets there. But I'm still shocked how many knocj-offs there were after the launch of the 6 inch Black Series!
Have a great start into the weekend, buddy! Can't wait to see what you're up to next...

Holy vegan Schnitzel!! Did I miss anything, mate? That Courscant Police Officer looks very credible and reminds me of two of FialaFernbrugg's projects - the Coruscant Patrol and Riot Trooper.
His suit looks awesome!
Man, am I excited for your new project! Looks like it's gonna be a photo novel..? You always have such excellent ideas! What did you use for the floor panels of that hallway? It looks amazing!
Love that AT-RT Driver already! Are you going to add more paint apps or will you leave it like that?
Looks nice on that BARC Speeder! Also like that shield generator a whole lot!
Thanks for sharing! Your projects are incredibly geil!

Kaminoan Defector, Chau Ki
Approximately 2 years after the start of the Clone Wars, Chau Ki secretly defected from Tipoca City with a sample of the Jango Fett DNA used in the creation of all clone troopers. Ki escaped Republic custody and fled to the Separatists with her research and scientific knowledge of the cloning program. Her capture or elimination has become the main concern for Galactic Republic Special Forces Command (GRSFC).

Great diorama. Great Custom. Great Backstory. Man, I could get into a second clone army under a different command. Off to the front pages.
Thanks! I think the plan would be to create Separatist Jango clones to infiltrate the regular clones and cause havoc behind Republic lines. It would be almost impossible to differentiate friendly from foe at that point. This would be due to the limitations of larger cloning facilities and the costs associated with them.
I love that cloning station, what a great combination of media to make it look like a medical/science research work station. I also really like how you modified the Taun We figure, she looks great with the mask and air tanks.
Thanks! It's made of so many different things; a key fob topper, hot glue sticks cut to size, plastiboard, broken medical equipment, soldering wire, and an electrical outlet.

I could see that wreaking some real havoc.

Off-World Jabiimi Nationalist Insurgents
I don't know how I could miss to comment on this awesome squad! Those are five excellent custom figures, indeed! Great use of Cassian & Jyn! They all look like rebels/terror guys nobody wants to mess with. I especially like the guy on the right-hand side with the EMP launcher and the red headband. The paint apps on his face look really nice! Now, you got some opponents for your GAR units!
Kaminoan Defector, Chau Ki
I took some time to look at all the details of this amazing project! I find it amazing how you created the overall esthetics of Kamino. The shapes look just like the actual concept. Do you have those Art of - and Making of Attack of the Clones books by the way? I've spent hours looking and reading through them.
That microscope looks excellent! So does the table! Did you make the table with a scroll saw? The edges of the foamboard look incredibly clean. These translucent gel blanks also look very realisitc.
Every accessory in this scene looks spot on! I especially like that box with drive mechanosm, the microscope and that tall tower!
And I can only agree with Starchaser and Tamer: The modifications on Taun We are awesome! I like that silver look of her skin! I think I've seen that print on the mask somewhere before, but I don't know where...is it a LEGO piece you cut and sanded down? And man are those tanks on her back actually pill shells?
This is a project I always dreamed of, but never added to my to-do list, yet. It's long enough. Just amazing! Thank you so much for sharing!

Thanks for the comment, Phillip. I'm glad you enjoyed the new additions. The table was made by hand I cut the pieces of foam board to side with an exacto blade. I sanded them down to get the clean edge, which makes it look neater. You're also right about the backpack for kaminoan. So good eye there. I'm working on a bacta tank to go with the table...
Here's one of my jedi knights, whom I sculpted a beard for.

Haha, same here, buddy! I also enjoy his topic a lot maybe because I grew up with the Prequels myself...I will try to get myself back to work this weekend. So many new ideas, but current projects are to be finished first! Have a great weekend, too!
-
The sculpted beard looks very good! I also like the weathered tunic of the Jedi and the kit-bash with a Clone Trooper armor! Excellent Jedi custom there!
The bacta tank will look great in your Kamino diorama! I might try to build a bacta tank as well using inked epoxy resin...
Now, that Rakatan artifact just blew my mind and made me quite nostalgic! I'm actually re-installing Knights of the Old Republic II as I'm writing this comment! When I played this game 12 years ago, I lost track somewhere and couldn't play it to the end. After being demotivated for a while, I decided to give the first part a try. And I enjoyed every single sequence of KotOR! No trouble with the story and the plot at all!
Rakata is one of my favorite planets and I hope to make a Selkath custom some day...
Man, so much awesome stuff! It's like pulling a trigger when I comment and you immediately reply with new content!
The paint apps look amazing on this artifact, too! Thanks for all the incredible inspiration!

Nice, thats gonna be a great crew. Off to the front pages.

I really like the Droid. Mace must work extra hard to his pate so clean when he is so weathered ;) I like your choice of the Airborne trooper helmet for your co-pilot.

Oh yeah, they look great. Off to share.

That'll work:)

So I went back to the drawing board a bit with my custom clone commander. I reworked him to be a commander featured in my favorite book series. I added water slide decals to him, which I think I did a good job with.

Looks great. Nice combinations of washes, very affective.

The decals are $7.00 a sheet and you get a generous amount of them.

The decals turned out well. He's pretty gritty. I like the holster that you have rigged up as well.

I really enjoyed the novels, had to get that Etain on the front pages.
I'll raise you that, for this!
I fully articulated this guy and gave him a whole new facial repaint.
Vilmarh Grahrk, or Villie as he was often known, was a male Devaronian smuggler during the waning years of the Galactic Republic and the early days of the Galactic Empire. A notorious gambler, grifter and scoundrel, Villie took part in a number of underhanded schemes in his quest for money and women.

I like the more realistic skin tones he has now. I used Jedi Master Sev's legs.

Now I know you were up to! You didn't promise too much and added four more excellent customs to your collection! Love the Etain custom! Vode an!

RC - using the Jyn head for Etain was a great move, that totally works. I think your Villie upgrade is most excellent as well - like the more vibrant color.

That VILLIE needs to be done by hasLOW again your mod is outstanding.
Nice use of JYN she is really great and easy pickings for fodder. Even her buck looks great just repainted as trooper/pilots'

Thanks! I used what fodder I had lying around and realized that head would be perfect for Etain if I repainted the hair correctly.

So I picked up a new brush set and wanted to show off what I could do with it.
First, I fixed Ventress' eyes, eyeliner, added lipstick, etc. No more glancing upwards!

Next I dry brushed Palpatine's hologram to look more realistic!

Nice job on Ventress. Good job adjusting her eye position. I really like the clone medic! Great job dry brushing Palpatine as well, looks waaaay better.

Really nice job on the Ventress. I'm with Chuckles, eyes are hard and you did a very nice job. Beat me to the punch on the medic :) He looks really good. And I dig the repaint in the Sidious Hologram. Great work all around.

Boroga the Hutt is a collector of unique antiquities from all over the galaxy. Most specifically, he enjoys collecting Jedi and Sith artifacts from worlds all over the Outer Rim. He is also a rival of Jabba in the criminal underground, but doesn't possess the same amount of networks or influence. He relies on a small security team for his protection and utilizes the Devaronian smuggler, Vilmarh Grahrk for obtaining all of his curiosities. What Boroga doesn't have in influence, he makes up in cunning business transactions.

The male Jedi is my favorite fig of the batch, I like the armor a lot. And he seems to be super posable which allows for a lot of personality. On the accessories I like the roundish barrels. If I had to guess they look like two yogurt cups put together, but it works and they look very sci-fi.

What an Incredible update! That's a nice Tribute to the McQuarrie concept of Chewie! The gatling gun looks awesome as I find the TCW versions from Hasbro too big to be accurate not even talking about the firing projectile feature...
Man, that Heavy Mando looks sick, too! Tons of great new stuff here on your thread! That's so refreshing with the current lack of anything from Hasbro...
Add: Are those customized/modified Airborne Trooper helmets? And if yes are they casted in resin?

The Wookie bounty hunter is great, that MacQuarrie body is awesome, but the head has always been a little freaky with the bug eyes. I think they toned that down well when they made the Zeb character for rebels. And the Mando is also awesome. I like that heavy repeater blaster. The rotarty blaster can out nice. I'm excited to see what you create next with the 3D printer.

Nice job with the 3D printing. I really like the rotary cannon. The Wookiee combo is excellent - don't know why I hadn't thought of that, but now I'll have to borrow it:)

I've rewatched the entire clone wars from season one to six in preparation for seven. While watching the lost padawan arc with Ahsoka, when Chewbacca is introduced I had a thought. What happens if a Wookie decides enough is enough and starts giving the Trandoshans a taste of their own medicine?
-
Narrowly escaping a Trandoshan raid on his village, the Wookie known as Ralbrahrrr has used his "presumed dead" status to his advantage. He has devoted his life to eliminating the entire race of those responsible for the death of his people. Living in complete solitude, Ralbrahrrr has taught himself focus and patience, often scouting Trandoshan camps weeks before a calculated strike. Using a specialized stealth generator, he is only seen seconds before a kill. This has caused him to become a "boogie-man" in Trandoshan lore. The psychological advantage gives him an edge in combat. His opponents are usually fear-stricken when encountering him.
His bowcaster is used only for defense; Ralbrahrrr prefers the use of a Ryyk blade, because his prey see him at the moment of their death.

*Note his boots are green now; they are made from Trandoshan leather!

You've nicely filled in that backstory and I like the name you have chosen. The "green leather" is a nice little modification. Still curious if you sculpted the skulls and Ryyk, or if not, what their source is.

Ryyk blade is made from leftover Predator wrist blades from my Neca collection. The skulls were also from a trophy belt of the same line.

I've been reworking a couple older customs with the new equipment. I've got some good products because of that; my commandos now have door breaching charges, target designators, a rocket launcher, and various other pieces of kit. Extra kit went to the Hutt to sell his weapons on the black market. His buyers are some not-so-friendly Insurgents. Also made a suicide bomber! I'll post all the new stuff here shortly (within the week).

Is that a decal? Looks awesome.
-
Sheesh, Tamer I don’t know if this unintentional, but you take me to some ideas lately...I found this image when I looked up “Star Wars Mird“ in my web search (startpage.com). I don’t know who made this art design, but there certainly was a company that sold it as print on shirts. I suppose they got a copyright strike because they don’t sell it anymore and changed all names to just hints at Star Wars.
Man, I could and will add this design to my sheet of decals and will print it out. Imagine this design on a Republic Gunship? Maybe RC-1136 finds another Gunship some day to join his epic Clanker Killer? Adding this design would look absolutely sick on a ride for Delta Squad.
Tamer, your ideas are brilliant!
Here’re a couple links:
https://www.teepublic.com/de/magnet/2013277-battle-on-the-beach
I also found another custom. This customizer used a creature of Avatar and turned it into Lord Mirdalan by a nice repaint:
http://dan-of-the-dead.blogspot.com/2012/01/lord-mirdalan-walon-vaus-strill.html?m=1
This design can be found in the web in high resolution. I’ll let you see it on the decal sheet once it’s printed.

Those do look really, really cool. I would love to see them as decals.
I think my next goal is to get an AT-TE. But they are so expensive (and rare), it might not happen.
-
I keep hoping with TCW wars coming back we will see both the LAAT and ATTE show up again. With as much as they are showcasing them on the new show (all the hangar and command post shots of them) we will see those.
And yes that Mird decal would look awesome on the side of a gunship or ATTE.

Could definitely see a special forces LAAT/i rocking that nose art.

Jeeg's Emporium!
Jeeg is a native in Khoonda. He immigrated from Tatooine several decades ago and made his living being a scrap merchant in the sales district. Jeeg is a very tenacious and business savvy Jawa, always looking for the greatest scams to pull in credits. Many in Khoonda greatly underestimate his cut throat nature due to his physically small stature.
-
Whoa great custom and back-story.
-
I really like your paint job on Jeeg to make him a bit different from the ordinary Jawa. I think that the merchant's stall looks really good, too.
-
Whoa great custom and back-story.
Thank you!
I really like your paint job on Jeeg to make him a bit different from the ordinary Jawa. I think that the merchant's stall looks really
good, too.
I took heavy inspiration from Blizz, a Jawa companion from the MMORPG, Star Wars The Old Republic.
-
Nice Jawa custom! I think it's not easy to bring some variety to our favorite scammers, but you did it! I also like his little hut with all the details. I can see him being part of your photonovel, too!
-
What a great little Jawa and Storefront! Awesome! I really like the edging on his hood. I don't think I have ever seen someone do that. It works great.
Nice open storefront too. Just what I imagine you would see in a bazaar type environment for Star Wars.
Off to the front pages.
-
Sweet! Always welcome on vendors row.
-
Loving Jeeg and his little kiosk. I keep seeing all these great jawa customs and have been wanting to make one for a while now. It's always intriguing to see how creative paint apps can alter an existing figure. Great concept and execution.
-
Thanks for the comments everyone. I have a few more things planned. Hopefully they'll turn out well!
-
Love the Jawa paint job!

It is always nice to see a new Jawa custom.
I realy like his little sales stand.

I think my next project will be to make a Trandoshan Mercenary Elite.

This line of thinking brought us a lot of the star wars ships we love. Most of those models created on set were cobbled together from all kinds of scale model kits.
-
That's a good point you made here! George's first movies were all about imagination to keep production costs low.
Worked pretty excellently I'd say!

Wow, love the action scene in the first pic. Just looks tough. Great work.

I didn't know this game existed. I am so buying it. Man, I would love to see Dutch in a movie again. And not just a cameo, but taking them out big time. I want to see him hunt them the way they did him in the first movie. I know he's old but man I would pay to see that again and again!
-
Thanks, Tamer! I agree... they totally dropped the ball with the last Predator movie. Worse so than the entire Disney Star Wars trilogy. And that's saying something!
If you have a decent PC, I already have the game! It's pretty dang fun. Definitely feels like the first movie when you play.
-
What an excellent team! It would be great for Dutch to go hunting them.
What base figure did u use? Your head selection is spot on.

Most of the work was done on the K-9. The figures themselves are Joytoy 1/18 scale figures. The Humvee is what I'm actually working on the most.
I'll be making a custom 1/18 scale predator here shortly.

FINALLY received my Hiyah 1/18 (3.75") scale Predator. Did some custom paint touch ups here and there...added a cape and a trophy belt!

So I've ordered the JoyToy 1/18 Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) special forces 5 pack and a type 99 prototype tank I'm going to customize and convert into a Type 99A.
I'm going to completely repaint it in the Chinese PLA "ditigal camo," add some external composite armor plates, a coaxial machine gun, some more crew periscope gun sights, and radio antennas.

I've also added some muzzle flashes/blood effects. I also plan to get some fireworks and smoke bombs to start doing some awesome photography down the road.
Here's a BGM-71 TOW I put together and hand painted/chipped from spare fodder:

Love that Humvee! Great job on the paint applications all the way 'round.

Great job on all of these. The detail work is excellent, and seeing what you did with the quonset hut makes me really regret not picking it up last Christmas when it was on sale. I can't wait to see the final display.

Wow, what a beast! That Sea Stallion looks stellar! Thanks for the size comparison, too! Your LAAT/i is just so epic. I wonder how other companies can still make such huge toys for so much less money than Hasbro in 2020...
I really like your new military theme btw! Thanks for sharing!

So awesome to see in scale vehicles. Makes me wonder what size ships we really should have in our SW Verse. Off to the front pages.

Awesome Work!!!! Darth More is right about the size of these vehicles. Lanard does a great job of making vehicles and even monsters.

And .50 caliber machine gun mounts for the side windows and rear ramp!
-
Very nice. Time to get this on the front pages.
-
Wow, this thing just ROCKS!!! Excellent paintjob! The winglets add some serious fire and those Torpedos do justice to the sheer size of this chopper! You're exactly right, RC - the LAAT/i should be as bif as the MH-53. That's why the Gunship's side turrets would look so much better on the helicopter instead. I so hope Hasbro will give us a 1/18 scale LAAT some day - even if it takes a HasLab to do this right...great work again!
-
This is a phenomenal project! Your right, that thing is huge. Its really fun to watch how you are problem solving/making additions to make it more realistic. It will be an amazing final product, I'm sure.
-
Thanks for the comments, guys! Lots more coming up. 1:18 Harrier and pilot, 1:18 Bradley Fighting Vehicle, and possibly an amphibious landing craft for the Bradley, too!

I agree with Starchaser: awesome idea on the dust on the wind-shields! Also the chipping on the HMMWV looks excellent! You got a very good eye for details to make our vehicles look more to most realistic! Just saw one of these in Dusseldorf yesterday and that doesn't happen often here in Germany.
Also the the Harrier! Hard to find these days and an absolute gem when it comes to details. Gives me some good GTA San Andreas vibes. I used to cheat this thing to get across the map. Excellent stuff!
-
Great job on this pilot! The fighter is really cool too.

I agree with JDeck, the face of the soldier next to the tank looks stunningly realisitc! Did you paint his face or did it come like this?
I've seen some images of painted vehicles with such faces. I suppose that's something they do as the U.S.A.F. do on some of their FR A-10s. Excellent paintwork, buddy!

The face came that way. I added some washes and a repaint of the helmet. As for the tank, the face design is something I wanted to apply. The tank is named "Carnivore." Which is why it has the predatory animal like features. This is a hunter-killer Abrams. It will be equipped with the latest edition of survival equipment. Sensor optics, additional, armor, and lots of other goodies. The M1A2 TUSK II Abrams is quite the landmark armored vehicle in the U.S. military. This specific tank is a Marine Corp version.

Thanks! I'm glad you like them. I'm loving this paint scheme. It's a mix of my favorite and most iconic camouflage patterns.

Whoa...that looks fantastic! You should be proud, that nose section looks really excellent.
Having never made round edges before...it was a challenge. What it's made from is even more surprising - thinboard. From comic book backings.
-
That chopper is fantastic. You said you were using comic book backers for curved parts ... how much of it is that? Are you doing anything to keep them from creasing?

That chopper is fantastic. You said you were using comic book backers for curved parts ... how much of it is that? Are you doing anything to keep them from creasing?
Thank you! I love this chopper a lot. Pave Lows have been a workhorse for a long while. I'm sad they got retired. But alas, the entire front nose sensor suite is made from thinboard. With the exception of the RADAR dome and spotlight. I prevented creasing by lightly folding and making multiple layers. Most of the super structure inside is reinforced with plastic frame, to add structural integrity.

Yessir! And all of it is factually accurate.
The Tank Urban Survival Kit (TUSK) was developed to improve survivability and situational awareness when operating in the close confines of a city. Introduced in 2006, the TUSK’s (in one form or another) found their way to all tanks fielded in Iraq by 2008.
The TUSK includes add-on explosive reactive armor fitted to the side skirts and turret, and slat armor to the hull rear. These enhancements provide protection against RPG rounds. There is also a full length slab of spaced armor mounted to the hull underneath the tank to better protect the crew from IED threats and mines.
Other improvements include additional defensive grenade/smoke dischargers, armored glass shielding for the vehicle commander and loader when manning their respective machine guns, and a new remotely controlled 12.7-mm machine coaxial gun & accompanying spotlight fitted over the main gun. This machine gun is a counter sniper weapon. It fires single rounds or in full-auto mode and is aimed using the main gun. A third machine gun station sporting a 7.62-mm gun with armored glass and thermal sights has been added to the turret.
To improve situational awareness, the TUSK provides the commander with a 360 degree camera monitor within the turret, and the driver’s station is fitted with a new safety seat and rear vision camera. Nearby infantry can communicate with the tank commander via an infantry phone attached to the rear of the vehicle. Together, all active versions of the Abrams tank (M1A1, M1A2 or M1A2 SEP) equipped with this kit have become even more lethal to the enemy, regardless of where they are encountered.

I'm working on detailing an ISIS pickup truck. If this is something I should bring down, let me know. I'm not posting it to be offensive. It's merely historically accurate to our current times. I plan to make a set of insurgents to go with it.

Your custom forces need someone to fight. I can sure see this as their enemy. If you could surround it with some of your JoyToy Customs blowing this the heck up I will be glad to post to the front pages.

Once I've got the insurgents made, you got it! Current wait time is about 3 to 4 weeks because Marauder Inc is back logged.

Looks spot on from I remember seeing on news video.
-
I get some really bad vibes when I see this flag on the doors, but that probably speaks for the quality of our custom! Is that a diecast vehicle or a resin body? I think that's a Toyota or Nissan - that's what they mostly use right? Spot on - I'd love to see a picture of your Abrams tank next to this pick-up truck.
-
I get some really bad vibes when I see this flag on the doors
Boy me too thats why I am gonna wait till I see it blowing up or about to be before I feature it. The world has bad guys in it and these are sure at the top of the list.
-
Good job with the detail on this build. I'll be curious to see the final "scene."
-
Glad you guys approve of the realism. Here's some PLA goodness to hold you over until I get my terrorist figures done.
I made a second tank; one is the command variant and the other is a hunter/killer. I also added a rocket package to the APC to make it something similar to the Russian BMP.

Great mods on your HMMWV as well! I really like this project of yours! These soldier figures amaze me quite a bit!
They are the highest quality 1:18 scale figures I've ever owned; fully customizable, you can swap joints on the fly (if they ever do break), and you have multiple nations represented. Their price isn't cheap (about $100 with shipping) for a 5 or 6 pack. Add to the fact they come with removable armor, various weapons, extra hands with different hand poses, and other accessories...it is more than worth the investment. Their articulation is well over 35 points! The poses you can get are lifelike.

The insurgents are great, but that bomb disposal robot is my favorite. The amount of detail on all of them amazing.
-
Glad everyone likes them! I have war correspondents coming sometime in January (have to wait on production/shipping). I also plan to make an American outpost/checkpoint diorama as well. And then I'll have all the ingredients necessary to facilitate what I have in mind!

Love that disposal droid! The insurgents turned out really well. I'm looking forward to the correspondents.

I finally got around to customizing my Predator figure in 1:18 scale the way I want. Very rarely do we see a Yautja hunter with duel wrist blades. So I said, why not! I also made the custom hunting spear inspired by my favorite Yautja hunter, Ahab.

Hey apologies for my late comment: Your Harrier just blew me away! What an epic vehicle by itself already, but with the detail you added it became a masterpiece which I only saw in a museum in Austria so far. Absolutely amazing work, RC!
Also the speeder looks great with the skull and the lance! Only brilliant projects on this thread so far!
-
More awesomeness. That bike looks great. Can’t wait to see it incorporated.

That bike looks tough. Reminds me of something Durge would ride. Anyone remember him?
Off to the front pages.
-
Looks good, can't wait to see it finished.
-
Thanks for the feedback everyone and I'll reveal the exciting news now. I'm making a fully articulated Durge figure to accompany his speeder bike. I'm kitbashing the one that comes with the bike and the one from the two-pack comic series. The goal is to keep the upper torso from the comic one, add articulated legs and feet. It won't be easy, but I like a challenge!
-
That'll be cool.
-
That's awesome. I was hoping it was Durge. Definitely one of my favorite scenes from the first anime.
-
Looking forward to your Durge

Tamer, I took your advice on my gunship decals. I got qaulity ones and removed the computer paper ones in favor of actually decent ones.

Cool!!!
-
I agree with Starchaser, this looks even printed on! Awesome decal there! Again, I don't know of anyone else who had the guts to customize a TVC Gunship. So hope for a future HasLab to be a new LAAT the size of the Razor Crest. I think your Gunship is the best custom out there in regard of detail, weathering and accuracy to The Clone Wars. Can't stop looking at it and every time I find new details I like. So need to get back to my Purge Troopers and finally print the decals for them.

Just scrolled up. That looted hummer is fantastic
I didn't make the ground explosion, but I did paint it! I purchased it from an ebay seller. It's made from sprayed insulation foam, led lights, and spraypaint. It was way too yellow when I got it, so I did some quick spurts of red to balance out the colors! Viola! I'll probably add some leds to the muzzle explosion as well...once I figure that out.
-
That's a really cool thing! The muzzle smoke is great and the ground shot looks really good (nice job on the paint apps).
-
Both are great. Love the smoke effect of that tank and the round going out the tube though.
That explosion effect reminds me of something Barry Riddle would come up with. Great all around.

Update to Captain Fordo...
I wanted to make him look more like the traditional ARC Troopers of The Clone Wars series... this is what I came up with. ()rr
(https://i.imgur.com/D9oZj5V.jpg)
Recipe;
TVS ARC Trooper Commander Body
TVS Arc Trooper Echo forearms, pauldron/backpack, blasters, and Kama (skirt)
Repainting done by me. I used a paint thinner to remove blue and hand painted the red/grey.
-
First off, it's great to see you checking back in! I'm glad you could get a sample of Hasbro's new ARC Troopers! And I hope they make all Clones about the same height from now on because the ones based on VC45 feel a little too tall in my eyes. Every time I see these new ARC Trooper accessories I'm just thankful to have this hobby. Putting them on Captain Fordo is excellent and I don't think I would've ever come up with this idea.
You make truly awesome customs, RC! Every project of yours is a masterpiece and I'm especially impressed by your custom vehicles.
If you ask me Hasbro can re-repack and repaint as many ARC Troopers of this mold as they want! Seeing people share their ARC repaints on Instagram is a pure joy as well.
I just saw you also added the backpack - I'd love to see how this looks! I suppose you had to drill a hole into the torso to make the backpack fit?
-
Oh yeah, great update. I like your Fordo; looks tough.

Thanks DM. And no, no drilling required. The pauldron/backpack are a loose free floating piece. There's no peg or anything required. The helmet keeps it snug/flush with the rest of the gear. I'm very happy with how he turned out. I ended up adding red trim to the white Kama.
-
He looks really good! I always liked that helmet design. I think the color scheme is great and the new ARC trooper base is a great base for this figure. You've done an excellent job.

Ah, okay, well then my hope is even higher that Hasbro give us many more ARC Troopers based on this mold. Commander Colt and the entire crew of the TCW ARC Troopers Battle Pack would be epic to see updated in realistic style...I agree, the red looks superb!
By the way I love what you did with your Darth Revan figure! Your previous custom guardian looks absolutely spectacular as well!
-
Wow Fordo looks great! Wish he was in TCW!
He should look like this if he makes his way into the Bad Batch!
-
So I got annoyed with Fordo's legs not matching the modern ARC Trooper look. I made some modifications...here he is along side some other famous ARC Brothers.
I used styrene strips, ungodly amounts of patience, acrylic paint, and super glue to get the job done.
I also got to altering Jesse's helmet to be clone wars accurate. I did that with an exacto blade. Results were awesome.

Check out what I did with Jesse. His helmet had the ARC fin and rangefinder...which was not accurate. Nor did his helmet have the blue stripes on the sides.
And as a bonus...

You can read my comments on the front pages!

Sorry for my early comment. Didn't see the pictures you added seconds later. I agree with Tamer: The reference picture you shared looks spot on! Now, your Jesse looks accurate, really like the chipping you added to his chin armor and helmet. The helmet fin is sanded perfectly as we're used to by your work by now. I also think it's nice to have one ARC Trooper without fin and antenna for some variation on battlefield. Really fine work here, bud. Love your diorama there! Etain looks amazing! Does your BARC Trooper Commander receive Order 66 in this scene?
-
Yep...that's Order 66. I felt inspired by Bad Batch. Kinda renewed my love for clone wars again.
-
Well, the fiddly styrene strap work on Fordo's legs turned out really well! I'm not sure if you would say it was worth it, but as an observer, I sure do:) You also did a really good job with the helmet mods on Jesse. Those little details sure make a difference. Nice work...and fun Order 66 image as well.
-
Thanks for the kind comments guys. I appreciate it.
-
Your application is very clean and effective. Very nice work. I'd say it's almost Hasbro level... But honestly that's not saying much considering 90% of the 3 3/4 figures I've seen in person (last 7? Years) are garbage with eyes and mouths painted in wrong positions hahaa... So YOUR WORK is immaculate and you should be very proud. Thank you for sharing, cannot wait to see more.

Thank you for the praise. I try my best!
Here's my latest work...I removed the godawful handle thing on the ARC-170...installed a bomb bay instead. Kinda got inspired by the TBY-Avenger Torpedo bomber from WWII which also a 3 seater like the 170.

Off to the front pages.

I'd say, this is the way! I was 12 yo when I got my first ARC-170 back in 2005. It was $19.99 at Toys "R" Us at Times Square, NY and I couldn't believe my ears when my dad came back from the cash desk where he asked for the price. As a kid I really enjoyed this handle because it helped me hold this giant ship. But as a collector, I can see much improvement in your mod! Brilliant idea and great execution!
Man, your projects are always a win for your collection. So much unique stuff have you created already! Much respect!
-
I really like that bomb bay. Nice job with the conversion. I think the decals are pretty cool, too.

That's an Awesome conversion, The addition for the bomb bay doors is genius

Nah. I got them printed from a guy on a star wars figure discord group I am a part of.

Yeah, his stuff is legit.

Very nice. Had to get these on the front pages.
-
I agree, the surface of those shields looks nice and smooth! Did you have to sand down the print lines a bit? Love the emblems and also the DC-17 Carbines you gave the CTs. Looks like you added some extra detail to them as well?
Your collection is one of my favorites shared on here because you turn everything you have into your personal unique version with tons of cool extra details and features.

glad you like them! I did lightly sand before primer and paint.

Love it!

So I took my first shot at hand painting a realistic looking head.
I now have a TVC Commander Cody with a Sideshow style head in 3.75" scale. I think this is honestly some of my best work. Enjoy!

Ohh i see. Duh. Im going grey and that's where my mind went. Very cool. Keep up the great work you're doing.

Spot on. Looks good to me.
Off to share on the front pages.

Looking very good indeed!
-
Very nice!
-
Glad everyone is enjoying my 3.75" Cody! It was definitely a challenge painting that small of a head. Just waiting on my TVC Rex (bad batch) and TVC Echo to complete my TCW cast.
-
Darn, that's a damn impressive repaint. Painting headsculpts is the thing I have the most respect of. It's not exaggerated to say this is HotToys quality scaled down in 1/18 scale. You're on fire, RC! Makes a nice profile pic as well!
-
A few customs...not Star Wars, but thought I'd share them anyways.
War Correspondents. 1/18 scale.

So I was thinking of using these along side my Star Wars figures. I imagine they would be a CIS-aligned kingdom.

-
Nice! They look good on the front pages.
-
I really like your Reporter team because they're a nice dedication to what's forgotten many times. War Correspondents risk their lives to let the rest of the world know what's happening at the front lines. These are really nice figures you used. I also dig their vehicle! A friend of mine dreamed of such a BoCart/Buggy since 9th grade when we started building dioramas. Is this a model by Welly or NewRay? I really like the box on the roof, too! That's a smart solution to store and transport their costly equipment. Have you used regular rubber bands for the straps? I remember playmobil use elastic cord to recreate straps.
And I can well see the Gold Legion being part of the Star Wars Universe. Are you going to make a setup of these figures in combat against Delta Squad and the rest of your GAR units?
-

Yes - I thought it would be a nice addition to my other military customs I have done. I have a ton of 1:18 military figures/vehicles/customs. And these will be joining that. The ATV behind them is one I got off of E-bay, because I figured it would be a good vehicle for them. The box on top does contain more cameras and equipment and if you want some shots of that, I can oblige. The cord I used up top is some I had extra - I see it as haphazard cables thrown together to lock their equipment in the storage area above. They also have a Rhino Passive Infrared Defeat System Counter IED system on the front of the vehicle, just like military ones. And a radio-communication suite so if they need help they can call for it. I'd be embedding them with my USMC Raider Squad.
I also have a few more up-coming projects. I'm working on a trio of MagnaGuard's for my TVC Grevious and kitbashing them together prior to paint. Once they are done, I will post them. The TVC Arc Troopers coming out next year will be another project. I'm upgrading them to phase II once I get them in.
As for the Golden Legion, I think I have a plan for them. But that will come much later.
-
Wow those are awesome!
-
I like the sound of your upcoming projects.
-
(https://i.imgur.com/gOH3CTZ.jpeg)
Here's the recipe for the MagnaGuards:
TVC MagnaGuard with all parts, Din Djarin cloak, the missing chest parts were ripped from and repainted from the earlier 2008 magnaguard figure.
One of the electrostaffs might not look the same, it's because I had to hand make it from a joytoy spear weapon, dental pick covers, and electrical effects from a palpatine figure repainted from blue to purple.
-
Wow, that was quick! I was just gonna say that I'm looking forward to seeing your next projects! So many nice details to discover on your Magna Guards! If I remember correctly, you got a couple of them from TungHori, right? Are you also going to repaint them?
I'm digging your idea of adding different parts to make them look individual! The idea to extend the staff is brilliant! And you even used denta pick covers? Awesome! I'm working on two lightsabers for Darth Nihl at the moment for which I used two cotton swabs.
Last weekend I had an old friend at my house and we finally repainted some more figures. He worked on a Kal Skirata figure while I was painting some long overdue projects. One of them was a Magna Guard as well. I had been fascinated by the blue version since I got the illustrated encyclopedia by DK...good stuff.
You can check out the result here (http://www.imperialshipyards.net/SMF/index.php?topic=10513.msg226986#msg226986). Just finished editing the pics.
-
Wow, I like your new electrostaff. Off to share this update on the front pages.
Crazy how you and Darth More were working on the same type of custom around the same time.

Its been awhile since I checked in, but these JoyToy customs are really great. In fact, because of you, I ordered the the Saluk Golden's for some customs. I like the throne too! Great job all the way around.

This was a pretty easy custom. The TVC figure had a blank clone trooper head glued into the helmet (despite several dozen tries to boil and pop it out, I think it may have even been molded). I dremmeled it out ultimately. Replaced with a spare joytoy head.

This is my "ultimate" version of Cpt. Rex. It's the new TVC figure with swapped feet (TVC clone feet are weird...they look like clown shoes to me).
I also gave him a pair of blaster pistols 3d printed by audes_workshop.

Straight out of the books, my friend. As soon as I saw that broken helmet and bloodied face sculpt, I knew I had to get it for this body. Painting it was a big challenge but ultimately very rewarding.

Those are fun. I like the printed tool box. I agree with JDeck and Tamer, the Scientist is a great figure. Maybe you could call him Carru Pols (after the character Dr. Paul Carruthers played by Bela Lugosi in "The Devil Bat" 1940). He's a "mad scientist" character that's not as obvious as Frankenstein, or Dr. Moreau.
-
I agree, this is a very cool update of your figures! Kuiil looks great with some softgoods! My favorite of the 4 is the Separatist Scientist - such a brilliant use of that Hux figure! The headsculpts for both him and the Republic Navy Captain look absolutely awesome! Such cool projects, Sir!

Wow, your Muunlist 10 Survivors look really awesome! I wish Hasbro had included the rifles with their latest ARC Trooper release. I also like the crossover of TLC and TVC for the Heavy Gunner. You did a great job painting the helmets and weapons as well. This is such a cool variety of Clones and even though I still like their latest all-new ARC Troopers the most, the difference in height could be explained by the Alpha program of the Kaminoans.
The mortar Clone Trooper looks great! I really like the ammo pack on his back and the armor belt on his chest. The repaint to the 41st Elite Corps is a nice touch! You make your figures look as realisitc as 1/18 scale figures can possibly look like. Always nice to come back here and take a look at all your brilliant projects.
I also really admire how you modify your Separatist forces! Always wanted to make that Droid Sniper rifle. Thank you also for the hint at the G.I. Joe Retaliation figure.

Yeah, I think Fordo's a little short because he's kit-bashed from several different figures; might have to fix that somehow. Might also be how he's posed as well. All my specialized weapons as of late come from Audes_workshop on Ebay! He has wonderful 3d printed weapons. They are of the highest quality 3D prints I've ever seen.

Thanks for the shoutout as usual, Tamer. :) I was hoping that Audes_workshop could get a shout-out for the awesome weapons, backpacks, helmets, and head sculpts! He has amazing products.
Those turned out really great! The Phase II look works very well. It's a great group shot, too.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm very happy with how they turned out. The Cip-Quad Arc Trooper was definitely the hardest to complete. It required some ball joint removal and swapping.

Great job on the soft goods on Falon Grey. The updated Rham looks really great! Awesome job on these!
I was very excited making these. Very happy with how they turned out. I'd say my painting of head sculpts in 3.75 scale has come a long way.
-
The paint job on Kota is really good. I like how you designed Falon Grey - what head did you use? I agree with JDeck, the soft goods are really well done (does that make you a seamster?)! I'd love to know your recipes on these figures. It looks like you used the bandolier from that early Anakin Clone Wars figure (the realistic pilot one). Brilliant job.
-
I can only join in and agree with previous comments! So cool! I didn't even know Falon Grey and that he was originally created for the cancelled Battlefront III from Free Radical Design (Source: Wookieepedia (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Falon_Grey)).
The headsculpt you found for him looks spot on! And I also like the alternative costume design for Rahm Kota. You create a very special collection of figures, RC! Awesome work as always.
-
I thought you might have repainted the heads but I didn't say anything in case you didn't but yeah the Rham head is incredible. Id love to be able to paint heads like that.

Thank you! The head is a custom 3d print from Scoundrel's Stock. I've bought a lot of head sculpts from there. His are the best I've found in 3.75."

The soft goods on Falon Grey are from a modified Order 66 Anakin (Target 2pack, I believe). I trimmed down the sleeves and hemmed them. Hahaha!
The bandolieer is indeed from the very Anakin you think it is. I added a leather bound holster on the back (with superglue) that acts as a holster for Kota's lightsaber hilt.

I agree and really like the shade you put on his skin! That's a spot on portrayal of what the war made with the Jedi.
His lightsaber looks very interesting, too! Did you use an acrylic rod for the blade?

I believe it's a 3d print. I'm not sure if it's the lightsaber I want for him or not as of yet. But you are correct. He is a Jedi Master who has seen the worst of what the war has to offer.
Finding the right shades to match the head sculpt paint wise was a challenge. So was not painting it on too thick. I'm pleased with the end result.

Like the paint job on the Outrider. It will work great for your Twi'lek.

I agree great work on the Outrider and the Twilek. I would love to see both on box and cardback.
Wouldn't it be great if they would do a HasLab like this? I mean how are we gonna get any new ships? I so need to pick up and Outrider myself.

I figured it would be beneficial to have a ship like this that's small, nimble, packs a punch, and has a high hyperdrive rating. 0/

If you are thrifty and know where to look, you can find them cheap on Ebay and Mercari (I got mine for $35 plus shipping) for a good price.
-
Mercari is something I learned about two days ago. You got a really nice ship there for your brilliantly looking Twi'lek. Thanks for sharing! Did you find out which figure was used for the Twi'lek Jedi you asked about the other day?

I got some suggestions that were close, but I never identified them positively. So I ended up going with what was easier by sacrificing a Dr. Aphra figure.

Yep, gonna start looking for one with your price range as my gauge.

Hey Tamer, there's an Outrider that looks complete on eBay now $30.00 plus 13.00 shipping: https://www.ebay.com/itm/255623540771?hash=item3b8459b023:g:UacAAOSw~q9iywOW&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAoAxzmiKubMR4xsd48S1xv2NwTT0WsVSm1O4KS0T5t%2BuAju9Ee7AYpuB9EAFN6Pvg8Ff6%2B9mph2u2WP%2Be0itC5Bplt7C8HgR1qn7Gtz2I%2FxpeFzJ0gibn%2BeoWC8tHBq50Trj1ysl743aLZMU9usnQSgqeh2m6ymRO5DFeLFKLxfklpWMV77ayPzXH3PLLRrBtHOeAgLuWZCB1qdgUxiogIXk%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR4664abCYA (https://www.ebay.com/itm/255623540771?hash=item3b8459b023:g:UacAAOSw~q9iywOW&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAoAxzmiKubMR4xsd48S1xv2NwTT0WsVSm1O4KS0T5t%2BuAju9Ee7AYpuB9EAFN6Pvg8Ff6%2B9mph2u2WP%2Be0itC5Bplt7C8HgR1qn7Gtz2I%2FxpeFzJ0gibn%2BeoWC8tHBq50Trj1ysl743aLZMU9usnQSgqeh2m6ymRO5DFeLFKLxfklpWMV77ayPzXH3PLLRrBtHOeAgLuWZCB1qdgUxiogIXk%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR4664abCYA&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5337377665&customid=&toolid=10001&mkevt=1)

I really liking this one. The parts are spot on. I could see a lot of configurations of Troopers like this after 66 went down.

Great concept for a figure! I like the design a lot. There is a great combination of parts in here and it makes really good sense.

I've been working on my modern military stuff lately. Just wrapped up some Devgru Navy Seals.

I'm now working on a Pavehawk conversion into a SOAR bird.
I've added a fuel boom, radome, FLIR camera, etc. I've also dremmeled out the windows to make way for miniguns/window frames. A lot of parts coming from 1/18 military guru Picklehaube.

Thank you sir. Working on a bunch of stuff. DH
Chopper parts won't be available until after the new year. So in the mean time, I'm kit bashing and customizing a 1/18 Marauders, Inc Police Officer and police cruiser.

Kind of a self-insert custom, but I made a Titusville PD, FL officer complete with patrol car and police equipment.

Very cool projects! I somehow forgot to comment on your Black Hawk. I really like all the mods inside and outside the chopper. Your 1/18 scale soldiers are probably the best one can buy for money.
Your custom Police Interceptor is something special. Such a cool idea! I'd probably collect American police model cars if they weren't so expensive. I saw a video the other day of a Maisto case at COSTCO and Sam's Club with 1/18 scale cars for just $15. When I was in Manhattan I saw NYPD cars with $60 price tag. Maybe that was the tourist tax, but they aren't much cheaper on ebay.
Anyways your custom vehicle is so well done, I couldn't even tell if this is painted or made with decals!
The figure representing yourself makes this project complete. Always awesome stuff to find here on your thread! Thanks for sharing! smtie

Thanks! Yeah, this is outside of the Star Wars realm but I've also done stuff there too. Most recent was a conversion of a Jedi Fallen Order Mangaguard into a captain for Grevious' personal guards. Also some pretty neat clone wars Mandos.
These projects took the main focus because they actually were more than just repaints or kit bashes. The JoyToy military figures are probably the best figures I've ever owned...best articulation and paint apps in 3.75"

I agree, your collection is incredible! And I really appreciate how you show that it doesn't take many figures to make a collection amazing. I like how you arranged Grievous' cape with his arms folded on his back. I also like how you made one of the red tan Battle Droids look kit-bashed from scrap parts! And the 3D printed weapons look absolutely fantastic on them! The CIS Sniper Rifle has been on my to-do list for years now ever since I played Battlefront II.
Love all the custom work you do! Thanks for sharing and salutes from Germany!

Could you hear my jaw drop? I celebrate your custom of Ahsoka so much especially because you combined the best of both figures. I like the costume of TCW Ahsoka. She used to be the most expensive TVC figure on the aftermarket and the tooling is still good with today's standards in my opinion.
The photoreal version of Ahsoka as she appeared in The Mandalorian is one of the best 3.75" figures that Hasbro have ever made. And you turned her amazing headsculpt into custom gold.
What an outstanding job on sculpting her head and adding the jewellery.
Another elegant addition to your unique collection, Sir. Thanks for sharing & apologies for my late reply!

So I've been working on a ton of 1/18 Military projects lately. I finally finished my USAF Spec. Ops. Pavehawk, I repainted my entire collection of U.S. Vehicles, and I updated my USMC MARSOG Raiders.
Here's my interpretation of Modern Warfare II figures.

The custom head sculpts come from a Chinese Ebayer who does 1/18 head sculpts. They are extremely high quality.
-
These guys look great! I was looking at some of the painted heads from china, yeah they are really well done. Never pulled the trigger. How long is the processing and shipping? I found a Mexican painter whos selling custom heads 5 for $80. I might go with that.
-
Can only agree with JDeck! Those just look PRICEless! In fact they're the very first CoD MW II inspired figures in 1/18 scale I've ever seen. Your customs have been some genuine masterpieces every time and now that you mentioned that you went back to your vehicles for further mods and improvements, I'm dying to see them!
Thanks for the hint at the Chinese seller on feebay! Looking at all the amazing headsculpts he's definitely worth checking out. You did an outstanding job painting their bodies as well.
I'm not sure if I can ever justify paying 30-50 bucks for a 3.75" figure, but your figures are tempting for sure. Thanks for sharing! It's good that you're back.

I'd say they long ago passed TVC. The only barrier is price. If that could somehow be improved, they would corner the market. Their Warhammer 40k Figures are booming in popularity.

Thankfully not the camo, but the plate carrier and helmet are hand painted. And a lot of the very minor details on the vehicle are as well. Some of it even hand constructed from polystyrene tubes/sockets, and 3D printed parts.
For example, I really did not like the idea that the commander on the BUSK Bradley was completely unarmed. I added a pintle mount for an M-240. Both are completely removable and can be stowed in the storage area of the turret. The mount is fully articulated as well.

So I'm undertaking a project to bring Gar Saxon to life on TVC/3.75" scale. I'm going to be using a combination of 3D printed parts (from an Etsy seller), Joytoy Torso, and Mandalorian Supercommando lower to make him. All the assembly, paint, and detailing will be made by me.

Thank you so much! I always played with the idea of buying a 1/18 scale Bradley when I saw one on shelves at TARGET. You have one of the best selected collection I know. And your new Mandalorian project sets another milestone here. Those printed resin parts are of exceptional quality and the paint job you did on them is tremendously good. Looks really great! Very good use of parts. One could use a similar recipe for a comic Leia.

Found a use for the old head.

Yeah...that works!
-
I do feel that the clones remind me a little bit of the classic G. I. JOE: same head, different hair color or facial hair :)
-
Brilliant work on CW Padmé! Your work on the Clone heads is very good. I think the Boba head provides the best likeness for TCW Captain Rex. Brilliant idea to use his original head for a custom Airborne Trooper. Nice additions to your growing custom collection!
-
I agree it works. Off to share.

So I had the spare TVC Boba Fett body...
And I thought to myself, why have I never made Kal Skirata from the Karen Travis Republic Commando novels? So I did just that.

A spare Marauders Task Force head I had floating around in my fodder bin. I just repainted the hair and beard.
-
I thought maybe so, but wasn't sure. Thanks for answering.
-
Now, this is yet another fantastic custom of yours! The headsculpt looks really great! I was distracted by the color of his armor, first. If I could give it a name it would probably royal curry or golden mustard. You matched the color perfectly with the original shoulder piece. Thanks for sharing and please rock on! Your work is always a highlight to me on here.

Spot on perfect from what I can recall from the series. Man, I wish Karen had gotten to finish this.
Off to share.

Custom 3D Printed 3.75" TVC Scale BX-Commando Droid! Fully articulated from head to toe and custom paint job done by me.

Comparison with 3.75" TVC Cpt. Rex:
Review of the 3D print...
Articulation: ***** (5 stars)
Durability: *** (3 stars)
Color scheme: ***** (5 stars)
Build work: *** (3 stars)
Summary: This is a super articulated figure for a 3D figure. The downside is the plastic. Many of the sockets broke while trying to shove the ball joint into them. The main issue for this is the 3D printed material. If a higher quality flex resin it would not have been an issue. The detail is astounding at this scale. Back peg hole makes it possible to mount droid backpacks or vibroswords.
Custom 3D print comes from this website:
https://morphonauts.com/products/commando-bot?variant=44222355046677
They have clones, droids, and 40k figures. Not sure how the more human characters look in person bit I think those would be a pass. The droids are on point in appearance so far. Far more articulated than Hasbro.
A touch of brass, white, and Tamiya weathering dust (silver/gunmetal) makes this droid pop...
-
Looks great! The paint job totally works. Thanks for the lead on the printer, they've got some interesting things. Your review of the product is really helpful. I might try one of their animal characters and see how they turn out.

I have a second one coming from another printer, who is using a flex resin. I'll post that one too once it arrives. See if it's better or worse.
-
That'll be great. Thanks!
-
I better stop casting today and start printing instead! Wow, do these look awesome! They look like they were designed in realistic style, right?
Fantastic paint apps! The metal alloy is spot on.

Sure seems like the future of the AF hobby right here. Looks great.

I'm supposed to be getting another commando droid from another seller from Facebook. Known as "Moff Glideon's Customs" - due to the delay in my order he's throwing in a second commando droid for free. If true and legit, awesome service.
Sure seems like the future of the AF hobby right here. Looks great.

Thank you, sir. And yes, 3D printing changes the game. If they weren't so complicated and expensive, I would invest in one tomorrow. They are still up there for a good quality printer.

I like the tweaks - definitely feels more "Clone warsy." Really nicely done.
-
Your latest military gurney looks brilliant, too! I always admire how much realism those straps you use add to the custom. Very nice parts used and realistic looking bandages. And for a lucky coincidence, they released new footage of the PJ team on YouTube a couple days ago.
-
I do like the big hat better.. star wars anesthetics has always been exaggerated. Bigger is better. If youre going for a western motif do it big. I like your casualty, he'll go great with your PJ! I just got a new appreciation for Joytoy products.

Definitely the intended goal for sure. The hot toys version of Cad Bane also includes the rocket boots interestingly enough.

Thanks, Philip! I appreciate the feedback. And yes, I'll probably do a really cool photo of my Pavehawk, PJ, and the wounded/crashed pilot pictured here.

Yep! Wide brim looks great for his type of villain. I'm guessing you got your hands on a joytoy figure? They are easily my favorite company. With paint touch ups and customization, I feel they are the best out there in terms of articulation.

This thing is packed to the rim with tactical equipment and tools to keep the vehicle on the move at all times! Tactical entry tools for building clearing, maintenance equipment, explosives, ammunition, smoke dispensors, navigation computers, and infrared sensors for crew awareness and enhanced enemy detection, etc!
Decals and extra tools purchased separately. We've got JoyToy, Marauders Task Force, and BBI equipment here.
The hand painted punisher skull is a tribute to fallen U.S. Navy Seal Chris Kyle. He was known to wear punisher regalia on his uniforms while operating. I did not use decals because I wanted the "hand painted" appearance of this. Vehicles in Afghanistan and Iraq were known to rock these in his honor.
Lt. Colonel Victor Rykov, Russian Iron Bears Mercenary Contractor. Ex-Spetsnaz Special Forces Operator turned gun for profit. He specializes in counter-insurgency operations and has many off the book operations in foreign nations as a "military advisor."

His two versions are Russian Spetsnaz "Telnyashka" off duty clothing and BDU uniform.
I've got a huge 212th Clone Trooper improvement project coming soon. I'm getting the new 4 pack and upgrading one of the troopers to be Boil. Decals and paint work... and I'm completely replacing the crappy weapons with 3D printed ones. Additionally, I will be massively improving Commander Cody to have a 3D Printed helmet which will be hand painted by me...stay tuned!

Amazing job on the MATV! The paint applications are excellent and all the equipment really makes this outstanding. Fantastic attention to detail.
Is Victor a "shout out" to Jack Ryan by any chance? I really like the composition of the figure - in both cases. Excellent work as usual.

Thank you, sir! That MATV is a love letter to that kind of vehicle. Every piece of equipment can be removed and used with figures.
I should do a Jack Ryan one day! But alas, no, he is a reference to the 90's Alien Versus Predator (PC) game character Vassili Rykov.

Part of the gunship crew called "The Exterminators." The pair and their Gunners CT-152 and CT-1616 work as a team to safely deploy troopers on the deck in hot fire zones. CT-307 and his brothers have still flown into heavy fire to rescue injured troopers and provide reinforcements on multiple occasions. This has been done at great personal risk and often against orders of their superiors.

You know Commander Bacara has the least amount of screen time, comics, books, etc.
We've never even seen his face.
I'd say 90% of his involvements in the Clone Wars are undocumented at this point. I'd like to see some future content explaining this.

That would be great along with a pre-Order 66 series. Because in The Clone Wars we only saw Ki-Adi-Mundi with Commander Jett and not Commander Bacara during the Second Battle of Geonosis. The only screen time Bacara got in the entire series was as a hologram during a meeting with the Jedi in Season 7.
-
That would work too. I would love to see someone revive the whole Karen Travis RC Squad story too. John Faveraux or David Filoni would finish it off correctly imo.

Thanks! More will be on the way. I've planned for a marine medic, two M3 Bulwark Blast Shield troopers, a sniper, and finally an anti-tank expert who uses RPS-6 rocket launchers.
Each one of those will have the same fabric Kamas and 3d printed equipment.
Nice. I think Galactic Marines are my favorite forms of Clone Troopers.

Definitely same here! They are the roughest and toughest forces the G.A.R. had during the war. If you read into the Battle of New Bornalex, the marines were issued prototype power armor, greatly enhancing their strength. Halfway through the battle the armor frames malfunctioned. Nevertheless, the Galactic Marines fought on, literally tearing their enemies apart with the enhanced strength granted to them by their power armor. This engagement gave the Galactic Marines a fierce reputation.
They look great! Poseable possibilities perfection!
Thanks! There's only a little bit to improve upon, but I'm happy with how they turn out. Each skirt, I get a little better at modifying them.
Those turned out really well. I like the design elements that fit each trooper's specialization. Great job!
I feel that the roles are critical to unit cohesion. Combined arms tactics are what are utilized for our modern military. I feel, in particular, the clone army, was the best at this. More so than any other SW faction. Their equipment was made/married to each other at all levels. From AT-RTs fitting inside AT-TEs, which could be transported into battle by LAAT/c's for rapid deployment.
This is what my squad roles are based upon:

The articulation on these were not originally bad, but greatly hindered by the plastic Kama. With the fabric ones you get a whole new range of movement.

But fusing both leads to a well combined design!
I sense that we are going to see a fully equipped Mygeeto diorama, soon!
The TX-130 SaberClass Fighter Tank will look great next to the UT-AT Trident, too!
The Octuparra Droid is a serious opponent for both. You rock, RC!

Known simply as "Old Nik" this old clone served during the Clone Wars. His unit and story lost to time; rumors abound - was he a deserter or an honorable old Veteran? "Old Nik" has a new life as a humble farmer on an outer rim colony world. Every "Life Day," he dons his refurbished clone armor and Life Day robes and participates in the village celebration. He's known to fill his old bucket with gifts and treats for younglings. They always know he is near due to the jingle-jangling of his old battledroid trophies...

He looks great! Curious about the recipe on this. He could usse a bigger gun for the Coruscant underworld :)
Head is Marauders, body is a modified joytoy I widdled down the arms and legs on so these armor pieces could fit with an exacto blade. The armor is 3d printed.
And sadly, that's the main blaster pistol of the Coruscant police forces. His data pad helps with taking reports and photographing crime scenes.

His armor and headsculpt look absolutely stunning, RC! I can well imagine him as a character of a videogame like 1313.
This figure looks so good. When I saw him for the first time I immediately wished I had him in my collection. A true masterpiece! Sorry for my late response btw.
-
A two-fer post!
First up is my ex-Journeyman Protector (trainer of Commander Bacara).
While not directly a clone, this character is clone-related. A likely member of the Cuy'val Dar - "those who no longer exist." Hand-picked Mandalorians chosen by Jango Fett himself to train the clone army.
Not a very complicated custom. Body is a Boba Fett (Mandalorian) figure. Cybernetic arm is a Marauder Task Force part. Head piece is also from Marauders. Kama is just some leftover fabric from my Galactic Marines overhaul.
Commander Bacara was trained by a Journeyman Protector who is never named or shown. Thought I would change that. This guy is loosely inspired by Kal Skirata (whom I repurposed in an earlier custom) as well.
https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Unidentified_ex-Journeyman_Protector
He doesn't have a name, so name suggestions are welcome...

Next up is more military stuff. I got sick of the old 21-st Century Toys Pavehawk Pilots. Hardly any articulation and their body proportions looked...odd. So I naturally kit bashed some Marauders Pilots! Here are the results.
