the new dewback...
« on: January 05, 2010, 01:59:57 PM »
ok...  I realy hate the fact that the new dewback can't open his mouth and eat my rebels.... :(
seriously, the POTF version with the opening mouth action ROCKED!

soooo....  Im thinking about trying to customize the new dewback so that it can do the same.  Has anyone thought about this?  Has anyone tried taking one of the new debacks apart?

do you think it's possible? any suggestions on how I should go about doing this?

or... do you think I'll just ruin it?....

I haven't even pulled mine out of the package, yet. You mean his mouth doesn't open??

NO his mouth doesn't open... he can barely even move his head... He can only twist around in circles...

As much as I was looking forward to this beast I'm very disapointed... the "super arty" legs arn't even very articulated, they have ball joints but they can't do much more than rotate up and down... might as well be a peg...   ::)

I also didn't know that he can't open his mouth, I was not able to find one in my area yet.

I must say it sounds a bit risky to make a custom opening mouth, not sure if this works.

btw the Dewback is a herbivore, so it's not really happy with a rebel-snack I guess  ;)

My little girl drowns her "dewback" every night. The head pops off easy. So do the legs. It is very easy to snap them back on too.
