Thanks guys, I still have a ways to go on this one.
Here are some updated pics. I got pretty much all of the base color on and have added the initial detail lines to the cracks in the armor and to some of the details in the helmet and backpack. I will now have to clean up and tighten those detail lines by touching up with the colors that I used on the armor and under coverings to make them more refined. I still have to add the mods to the backpack and will add the rangefinder to the helmet later.

Oh yeah, this is looking great. Almost did a fp news story, but figured you were close and might want me to wait until the final reveal is done?

Thanks guys, but I still consider this to be the rough looking stage of the paint job. I still have alot of line straightening and detail cleaning up to do. I think that I will try the chrome foil on his visor.

Clint, I don't quite know how to reply to you. I'm usually over the top with the creative compliments towards  the stuff I really like, and I'd like to be that way with your customs, but judging from your pix on the job, you kinda have the look of beating up funny guys, and then pushing them off of a tall, still under construction, building.
So, with that being said, I'll just say "Amazing work" and leave it at that.

Oh Ribbit, I wouldn't do anything like that.
Been working 6 days a week, 5 of em 10 hour days so I am working on this guy when I can along with the prizes for the current contest so I only have one wip of the rc, today.

I used model master olive drab on the leg straps and that resin roc ammo pouch and then detailed em with testors flat black. I have to touch up both areas and will do so when I am touching up the rest of the figure.
